Good Synopsis. There is a bit of a lore dump at the start and it does some telling vs showing, but I believe as the story goes on, and the author gets a good feel for the writing, that this will change and improve. Overall, worth a read.
I came into this novel with high expectations based off the reviews it got, and it did not disappoint. Right off the first chapter, I just kept going and going and going til I hit the paywalled chapter. This is my early review, and I'm here to tell you that you won't be disappointed. Kudos, author. 'The Forsaken Ones' is straight-up fire! 🌟 The synopsis got me intrigued, but once I started reading, I was hooked. The author's storytelling is on point, and the characters, especially Henry, are lit 🔥 Their backstories hit you right in the feels, and the attention to detail is next level. The first chapter of this story immediately pulls the reader into a completely new world. The back stories of the characters are touching, and the manner in which the author describes every detail of the character's actions is excellent. All the characters in the story are very unique, especially Henry. I can't wait to read this story further. Keep up the good work author!

This is one of my favorite genres. Fantasy and historical together is on another level for real. And personally I think it's a hard one to write. But the author has presented their story immaculately.
I immediately got hooked from the synopsis, the main storyline didn't fail either. A book worth reading.
