Synopsis

While saving her younger brother from a murderous madman, Aayla follows them into mysterious ruins and is accidentally transported to Tellus, a magical world inhabited by dangerous creatures. Her only saving grace was that she was found by her godmother, who disappeared over a decade ago.

The new world that she finds herself in is beginning to shatter into pieces: terrorism, magical beasts, vindictive nobles, and suspicious classmates. Completely separated from all that she knows and loves, can Aayla stay safe in a world of magic without magic? More importantly, can Aayla ever return home?

As of Chapter 80 This is honestly one of the best webnovels I have had the honor of reading. I encourage anyone and everyone that enjoys a slower-paced story, richly built world, delightfuly quirky characters, and intriguing undercurrents in society to give this story a chance. Writing and grammar are very good and the common issues in webnovels are basically non-existent. The update speed and stability are also consistent without the chapters suffering in quality or quantity. All considered it is hard to find many flaws in this work. The MC is funny, quirky, and extremely relatable to college/university students. I really enjoy the growth she has experienced as she begins to gain a footing in both the university and the world of Tellus, as well as the growth she promotes in all the other characters. There are many fleshed out side characters that make the story richer while adding other perspectives. I absolutely love dormi and the gremlins. The world building is amazing and presented naturally instead of being given as big info dumps. I am especially intrigued as the story begins to dig into the magic system deeper. Keep up the good work!!!

I rarely read female lead novels. However, this one looks promising. First what I like in this book is the skillful use of words to describe the surroundings and actions of the characters. I feel that my vocabulary would improve the more I read this story, Second, I like the fact that the ruin that brought Aayla into another world is open to the public. Bringing possibilities of more humans from Earth entering this magical world. I'm also curious how Aayla would fare in this new world.

I love the feel of this book. You can see the thought that went into it and I always love a good otherworold story. At first I was like, โ€œYay! Canada!โ€ But then the story was flung into a new world. The writing is very good with few grammatical errors, which makes the words flow easier. The mystery is intriguing and I love all of the interesting magic.
