The Participant

Octavia Cobolt lives in a world where becoming a warrior at 15 is normal. Where people train, fight, and kill to become a member of the Group who had overthrown the rulers of old and took extreme measures in order to save the planet. She’s watched millions of others compete for a place and now it is her turn to compete as one of the thousands of participants who will travel to the capital and fight through a multitude of challenges to earn her place among the 75 chosen teenagers that will in turn become warriors, spy’s and assassins to protect their home from the rebels that threaten to tear the world she knows and loves apart.
