Synopsis
Follow Joseph Black, a former marine, as he finds himself in the world of the walking dead.
He simply dies and wakes up without knowing what's happened.
He doesn't know why he's there and is pissed that he didn't get to die peacefully and find his loved ones in the afterlife.
Follow along as he leads the group against walker hordes and deadly human threats.

Watch the show and Imagine a grumpy, emo military guy following Rick around, adding a few lines here and there. Few chapters at the start had promise to be something different, but as soon as Rick wakes up, its basically Cannon.
a damn good fanfiction to read very captivating it draws you in 10 out of 10 I will recommend you read and good job I hhop you keep up the great work
Absolutely love the story until now. Never really was a fan of TWD, but i genuinely enjoy reading your fiction. Just a little sad that i found the novel so early … waiting for new chapters is hard. Thanks for putting in so much effort
First few chapters make no sense if he was american marine. That would have made him a badass. But if hes korean where they have to account for every bullet they fire. It take the quality of his training and drops it to the floor. I mean what kind of military sends a uniform in the mail???
I think fan fiction should be a stage for authors where they can show their creativeness. this ff just totally failed that. not only does it follow the plot of the original series to the extreme which I don't always care for as long as the characters are well written. but even that was done horrible. also, the mc doesn't feel like the mc, he's just taking Shane's place in the story.
Well, it's another trip down memory lane of TWD show. There are minor changes due to MC presence but still follows the same events as the show. This ff should have "harem" tag. MC's character growth as a Porkymon Master is starting to wash out what little originality this ff had. Mediocre TWD.
I recommend that you add the harem tag. I nearly didn't read this fanfiction because the tag wasn't present and I normally only search for fanfiction with the harem tag. I only chanced upon it because I was craving TWD fics. Thanks to another review saying it's harem I read it, without this review I would have just discarded this fic. Other than the missing tag the story is really really good. To be honest when I saw that you were the author of the John Adler fic I was surprised. Your progress is really remarkable. There's one or two choices I don't agree with but I can't really complain, the quality is here.
Even though the author changes situations, he is essentially following the walking dead plot. The MC makes some god awful decisions that are clearly plot based. I read up to chapter 68, but I just can’t continue especially after the prison arc.
copy paste story. just watch the movie or read another fanfic. I suggest "RE: The Walking Dead. Zombie LitRPG".

A very high-quality story with an interesting protagonist and well-developed characters. I haven't read such a high-quality book for a long time, at times I wondered if this was really fan fiction.
A fanfic that wants to fallow original plot without any change might as well just watch the show because you will not miss anything. The only change that happens is including MC who just follows cannon without any change. Just copy an paste the original story. Chapter length ok grammar ok. No plot building bad mc decision making or the lack of decision making. No original creative author writing at all.
