Things that should never happen at 3 am

Some normal-looking things suddenly turn creepy after midnight. The children screaming at 3 pm are playing but if they scream at 3 am? Oh, they are getting murdered for sure. The ice cream truck passing by your street in the morning is a pleasant surprise, but if you find it outside your window hours before the break of dawn? You don't wanna imagine that.
What do you do when your friends bet your 10k dollars to go swim in the ocean at 3 in the morning? Would you go when you can never tell where the flow is taking you? Would you dare when the realization hits that the wave is over you only when the stars overhead disappear?
