A nuclear apocalypse occurred on Earth, resulting in the devastation of human civilization. However, the surviving government were quick to react, gathering as much survivors as they could, and - thanks to technological advancement - transferred their consciousness into a virtual world, while hibernating their bodies for preservation.
But, due to an unprecedented glitch, their consciousness gets transported to an actual cultivation world of martial arts and magic, with nothing other than their game-like system to survive... Xadia.
