I like the idea behind the story, with your mc being a completely native individual from the magus world and without possessing any cheats aside from couple of decades worth of future knowledge. Although MC's goodwill towards his comrades might be understandable, his experiences from the past should have made him into a more hardened individual and much more wise in his decisions, so far so good since his decision to stick up with his past comrades would help him set his foundation.
i think the mc is too navy and after watching the real novel you don't expect the fanfiction mc to be some kind of hero who helps week i think you should make him cold harted and smarter but after all it's your fanfiction so you can make whatever you want it's just a suggestion .
