What starts off as a regular day at college sounds the bell for Helen’s worst nightmare. One day she’s in a classroom with her roommate. The next she’s fled the campus and occupies a million dollar Bel Air mansion with a bunch of complete strangers who happened to be around when it all started. When they run out of food and water Helen has to leave their shelter, without knowing what awaits her on the other side of the gate.
