Two days later.

The news of the publication of 'Ghost Blows Out the Light' was spread like wildfire.

"What do you think?", JoAnna asked Sophia when she returned to her seat and band resumed their music.
"Direct. If anyone wants to come in between you two, that person will be hit with at least three lightning strikes as heaven's punishment." Sophia laughed.
"I think it's very romantic that two of you are childhood sweethearts.", Felix interjected. "I wish that I knew Sophia when she was five years old."
"You didn't miss much.", JoAnna waved her hand dismissively.
"Sophia was always bossy.", JoAnna added with a giggle and scooted closer to Jeff to hide in his embrace.
"How about a light walk after dinner?", Jasper asked Ellie.
Ellie smiled and responded with a small nod.
"Hey, don't go toward stables.", Sarah told Jasper and Ellie while they were standing up.
"Stables?", Ellie asked.
"Yup. Stables are that way.", Sarah pointed. "You can go anywhere else. Don't ask why, just trust me."
"I didn't agree to it.", Aiden whispered when Jasper and Ellie walked away.
Sarah gave him a big puppy-eyed look. "Come on, honey… you know it makes sense."
Aiden closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Why is a beautiful young lady like yourself alone?", Aaron asked while approaching Sarah who is sitting on a bench.
"My date is busy playing games on his phone, and I have the need for fresh air. Maybe I ate too much.", Sarah responded with a smile.
"If you ate too much, you should not sit. Light walk will help more." Aaron showed his most charming smile, happy that Sarah is responding favorably to his approach.
"Oh, I didn't think about it…", she glanced around. "But unless I go back inside where it's stuffy, everywhere else is dark. I'm not comfortable going by myself. Who knows who might be lurking around… it is a party, and a lot of people had more than few drinks."
Aaron observed Sarah and found her to be very attractive. Based on her body language, it seems that she does not have any defenses set up against him. Aaron is very confident in his looks which secured him many modeling contracts and so far, he didn't find a girl who can defend against his charms. "Since your date is busy, I will be happy to escort you. Don't worry, I'm not a creep. I know Aiden, we were classmates in high school."
"Oh, really?", Sarah was surprised that Aaron brought up Aiden so quickly. 
Of course, she will accept his offer for a walk. That is why she came here.

"Master told me to disable audio."
Aiden closed his eyes and took few deep breaths to calm down. Sarah knew that if he hears Aaron flirting with her, he will blow a fuse, and it's probably better that he does not know what they are talking about, especially because Sarah needs to pretend that she is falling for it… but still… Aiden is fuming! He will make sure to break few extra bones for this when he gets his hands on Aaron.
"What is Sarah up to?", Sophia's voice startled Aiden.
Aiden turned around and saw Sophia behind him. He placed his phone in the pocket swiftly. "What? What makes you think she is up to something?" Aiden can't believe that he is actually covering up for Sarah. And that he agreed to this ridiculous plan!
Sophia narrowed her eyes at Aiden. "Don't lie to me… she is not here, and you look like you are about to jump inside that phone while your leg is nervously twitching. Now, let me ask you again: what is Sarah up to?"
Sophia saw that Aiden's eyes are darting around aimlessly, and he has no intention of talking. She shook her head. "Well, whatever it is, I'm glad that you two are in it together. Take care of her, will you? She is known for being reckless."
Aiden nodded. He was relieved that Sophia didn't stay much. He pulled his phone out and resumed watching the video.

But I can't help but wonder: why did I not push you away? ... Why does it feel like everything will be OK as long as we are together? ... You are a piece of me that I never knew was missing. Is this destiny?"

As a small compensation that the last chapter took so long, I thought: I'll show you alternative ways how the story could have gone.
1. the bloodthirsty hunter:
In the beginning, Jaguar was supposed to be the antagonist of the story. He should have slightly grey skin and be more like Frankenstein's creature. He should be Talon's most brutal killer and be known for drinking the blood of his victims and because of his enormous regeneration he is almost impossible to kill. The real hero should be a bounty hunter, whose family was once killed by Jaguar, right in front of his eyes.
He or she (this was not yet certain) should join Overwatch to find Jaguar and take revenge on him. For this purpose he/she has made a spear of shining blue metal, which blocks his regeneration. In the end the hero, with Tracer's help (the two have come very close in the course of the story), defeats Jaguar by ramming the spear into Jaguar's heart. Jaguar's corpse then disintegrates, leaving only a black skeleton with silver teeth. The hero then decides to stay with Overwatch and with Tracer.


2. the next generation:
Another idea was: Overwatch stormed a secret lab and Tracer found a kid with silver teeth and claws. Overwatch takes care of him and with his curiosity and skills he often causes chaos. 20 years later he is the leader of a new generation of Overwatch agents.


2.5. The voice:
My actual desired candidate for Jaguar's voice was the actor and musician Sascha Rotermund (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch in The Hobbit, Star Trek and the Marvel movies, Jon Hamm, Armie Hammer, Dan Stevens in "Beauty and the Beast" or currently as the voice of Mandalorian in the series. Furthermore many audio books and audio plays.
    
However, he was already the German voice of Baptiste. So someone new had to be found.


3. the special investigator:
One plan was for Jaguar, instead of a pirate, to be a "Special Investigator of the British Kingdom". So someone who would be called in when " strange" things happened. Agents of the secret service found him in the jungle and brought him (after he bit off a commander's hand) to England. Where they trained him (not completely voluntarily) as a special investigator. He was dismissed, however, and spent his time as a bounty hunter, private investigator and adventure. He is supported by an AI called MINA, which is on a microchip transplanted into him. MINA is very childish and rebellious, the two often fight over words. After meeting Overwatch several times, he later joined them.
The idea comes from the German audio play series: "Oscar Wilde and Mycroft Holmes Special Investigator of the Crown" and "Cyberdetective" in which Sascha Rotermund plays the leading role in both.

Hello, good morning, afternoon or evening! I want to thank everyone who was there from the beginning from this book. My name is Myles, the writer of this SAGA Ai no ame. I have been publishing it on Wattpad to be known, currently we want to make it an audio book with voices for the characters. It will be great! Everyone is liking that idea. Wow, what it would take me to actually publish this book. 

The "Mirai" in Japanese is "future" so yes ... I'll tell you about the future of this series. Maybe they don't know much about me, I'm just saying that I'm 17 years old and that I really like anime and manga. This series still has a lot of Japanese influence! What I love is implementing little by little something of my Mexican culture, a novel combined between Japan and Mexico, funny right? And interesting because it will not only be an audio book and novel. In the somewhat distant future, but not so much it will be an anime, manga and quite possibly a video game. There is a lot ahead! I'm excited about everything… I have a girlfriend named Fiorella, a little older than me. I don't know if you read this, but I love her so much! I hope I can tell her that this book is for her. Although it is not in the epigraph, it will be here. You never know until when love can end or be eternal.
