Christian paused the anime that he is watching for a few hours. He took a deep breath before placing his mobile phone to the drawer besides his bed. He stares at the ceiling, observing the movement of the blades of the ceiling fan. The blades are spinning nonstop, unless the ceiling fan will be turned off. Just like in a movie, the story revolves on a particular character which is the protagonist. It will stop revolving once the movie ended. But sometimes, the audience tend to ignore the supporting characters as they were too focused on the protagonist. In a ceiling fan, we can only see its exterior which is the blade and the bracket. But the ceiling fan won't be a 'ceiling fan' without its interior parts, such as the motor and the wire. 

These random thoughts kept running in his mind. How he correlates the ceiling fan to a movie, it seems stupid. But it is his job after all. To write an interesting story that will caught not just the teenagers, but also different generations' interest. In order to produce a good movie, the reference story must be solid. A building must have a solid foundation to stand through different phenomenons. The plot, characters, setting, sequence of events, everything. Everything must be solid and strong. However, you need skills to create a good story. The creativity of words, the structure of each statements and of course, the grammar. Nowadays, grammar is big deal to teenagers. It seems like it is the standard of being intelligent. Also, you need an inspiration. As a writer, you need to identify your motives or intentions on writing. What inspires you to write, maybe your purpose on writing. It's important because it gives you encouragement whenever you are experiencing a writer's block. Lastly, you need to have experience. Those experiences are very important. Experiences may give you ideas about your story. Also, you may use your experience to improve the storyline. You just have to play with lines. 

A good story must be carefully made. It is somehow similar to a baby. It depends on the parent on how they will raise their baby. In a story, it depends on the author. 

Christian Simoune, a writer who is currently having a hard time thinking about a plot. It is very rare to see him struggle on writing a story. He produced a lot of stories, and those stories does have a movie. His penname, Toshiko Ryouta. 

Recently, his novel editor gave him three months of deadline to finish his story. It is for the novel prize award. Christian on the other hand, felt comfortable about it so he agreed. For the first week, he seems determined as he thought of a story plot. He even presented the plot story suggestion to his editor earlier than the planned date. But his editor said, "Cliché." So he discarded all his draft and think of a new plot. A month had passed, the deadline has come but he doesn't have anything to present. His editor is disappointed, and even mocked him. "Tan Enuo, not participating in the Novel prize award? Shame" His editor said in a teasing voice. Christian is disappointed to himself, and rushed. Two months and he still doesn't have a strong and concrete plot. 

Disappointing. He thought. 

Christian's editor asked him if he could still do it. Christian, being a prideful man says he could do it. But behind his direct statements, he is doubting himself. His editor left, giving Christian personal space. 

Christian took his phone to watch some movies for him to gain inspirations. He searched The Teenage Mutants, which is a cartoon. The main characters really caught his attention but at some point, he felt guilty. He is guilty that he gave the supporting characters less importance. Christian realized that the supporting character is like a ladder. A ladder that is used for climbing higher ends. 

Suddenly, Christian thought of something making him paused the cartoon he is watching. 

What is the life of an extra. 

Christian thought it was a good plot, so he immediately wrote it down and make a draft. He can't wait to share it to his co-workers, especially to his 'egoistic' editor. 

The next day, Christian is fully energized as he went to his workplace earlier than ever. The security guards greeted him, with a confused look on their face. "You seems early, Mr. Simoune."  One of the guards told him. "I'm just motivated." He replied ecstatically. The security guards gave him a worried look as he entered the elevator, pressing the his office floor button. 

When he entered the office, it's unusual that he is the only one inside. Well, it really is unusual when he is always late. Minutes had passed, his co-workers came one by one as they gave Christian a disbelief look. His editor finally came, and it is the signal that he should start sharing what he thought last night. 

Christian cleared his throat to get his co-workers attention. "I know it's unusual that I came early than everybody, but I thought of a plot." He said with a cheerful tone. His co-workers are exchanging looks, and his editor is surprised. They even joked that maybe he is sick or something. He rolled his eyes as he continues his announcement. "It's about the life of an extra." He said with full of pride. His co-workers on the other hand, couldn't understand what Christian meant by his statement. "Would you expound it for us?" One of his co-workers said. 

"A movie always includes: protagonist, antagonist and the supporting characters. Usually, the director put depth on the protagonist's story. Sometimes, the back story of the antagonist, of why did they turned to be the bad guy. It sounds cliché, doesn't it? Unfortunately, the watchers tend to not give importance to the supporting roles." Christian paused for a while to catch his breath. "What if we take a closer look on their story." He continued. 

His co-workers looked at him, and they seemed amused. Christian could hear his co-workers laughing and whispering. He felt disappointed because he thought it was a great idea. But, he heard someone speaking from his back. "Doesn't the story makes the supporting character the protagonist? I mean it really depends on the author." His editor spoke. It made him unease and confused. He couldn't seem to understand what his editor means. But a phrase popped up on his mind.

After you confirm what genre and topic you wish to write about, it's now time for you as an author to design your settings and write the overall planned outline for your plot. As for why I'm putting these two elements together, that's because these two elements are deeply interconnected and inseparable.
 
When you're writing the overall outline, this is basically coming up with the story's plot. As you write the outline, what you're actually doing is fleshing out the details for your setting.
 
When you're writing a story, of course, you need to first consider where your story will happen, when it happens, who it happens to, and what type of person it happens to. As the story progresses, you also need to consider who the main character will meet in the story, what time and place he or she meets them at, along with who's stronger and who's weaker than the main character…
 
This is why by the time that you're finished with your overall outline, the world's background, various factions, levels, special abilities, treasures, all the important characters… and such settings will be naturally completed during the course of outlining.
 
The reverse is true as well. If you first work on designing the detailed settings instead, then you'll basically end up with an outline for the story's plot and how the main character grows over the story as well.
 
Of course, there's still some differences depending on which angle you start from. However, newcomer authors like you don't need to worry about this. You can simply create based on your personality and whatever you prefer. It doesn't matter whether you start from the settings or the outline. You can even do both at the same time.
 
For newcomer authors like you, there's only five points that are critically important for you to understand.
 
1.      Having an overall outline isn't absolutely necessary, but having one is always better than not having one
 
Theoretically speaking, even if you didn't prepare an overall outline, it might not affect the progress of you writing your novel at all. There are some authors out there that simply write whatever comes into their mind and go with the flow.
 
Of course, this is all just a best-case scenario in theory. For the great majority of authors out there, once your story's plot exceeds your planned outline... 

Your outline will help your story stay on track in the early stages, but once you reach the mid and late stages, all sorts of problems often appear, such as too many plotlines all at once, self-contradictory plotlines, or writer's block…
 
At such a time, authors will typically regret not creating a more detailed outline, but it's already too late now. Actually, overall outlines have more uses than you think.
 
Since webnovels are typically longer than normal novels, they take much longer to write as well. Typically, it takes an average author several months or even longer to finish writing everything in their overall outline. By the time that they're finish writing everything in their overall outline, most authors will have new ideas and insights into what they want to write. Once they combine their new ideas with their original outline, in a way, this gives them two sources of inspiration. It's basically the equivalent of two people working together, and on top of that, these two people know exactly what each other are thinking.
 
It's easy to see how this can be helpful in improving the quality of your novel.
 
Apart from this, while creating an overall outline, the author can also discover many topics or problems with the settings and correct them in time.
 
To give an extreme example, if you're having a great difficulty with writing your overall outline and don't know what to do with your own plot, this proves that there's a large problem with your plot. You should either make major changes, or delete this part of your plot entirely.
 
So, newcomer authors definitely shouldn't overlook the uses of having an overall outline. No matter if you have a good or bad outline, a simple or a detailed one, as long as you have one, that's good.
 
What needs to be noted is that only outlines that have been written out truly count as outlines.
 
Even if you as an author have a very detailed outline, and even if you've solidly memorized every single plot point in your outline, any outline that hasn't been written into your novel doesn't count as a true outline. That's because when you actually start writing, you'll discover that what you finally end up writing will always have differences from what you envisioned.
 
2.      You need to finish your outline, but it doesn't need to be complete
 
Thinking about your outline is equivalent to thinking about your novel's plot. You need to consider both the beginning and the end. You also need to think about everything that the main character experiences from the beginning to the end of the story.
 
If your outline isn't finished, but only half-finished, you won't even be able to predict the storylines that come later, which will cause you to have difficulties writing your plot once you finish the beginning stages. This is basically the same as not having an outline at all.
 
Still, there's no need for us to make the outline as detailed as possible from the very beginning, with so many specific scenarios for all your plots. The reason for this is quite simple—none of us know just how long our novels will turn out to be in the end.
 
A story that's written with the intent of becoming a commercial product needs to be sufficiently long enough right from the planning stage. The longer your potential story, the better. But actually, how many words it finally ends up with depends on how well your story performs.
 
If your story is incredibly popular and performs well in the market, then we can consider writing it for as long as possible. However, if your story obviously isn't popular with readers, then you can consider ending your story in a timely fashion at an appropriate point in the plot so that you can think of a new story instead. That would be a wiser decision if you wish to become a professional author.
 
Of course, when you're only in the outlining stage, it's impossible for you as a newcomer author to know how readers will react to your novel. Precisely because of this, you need to have a flexible writing plan. What this means is that you should have an outline that's detailed in the beginning and general near the end. For the beginning of your story, you should have as detailed an outline as possible, while for the middle and especially the later parts of your story, you only need some general ideas. All you need is to consider the overall development of the plot so that you know what direction to take your storyline in.
 
For example, maybe you planned that the beginning of your novel will be approximately 80,000 words, and you've prepared a 4,000-word outline for just the beginning. In that case, your outline for the next 80,000 words, the middle of your story, might only need 3000 words, and the meat of your story, another 240,000 words, might have an outline that's less than 1000 words.
 
Of course, as you continue writing your story, you should constantly update your outline as well. You should complete your outline for the next 80,000 words before you finish writing the first 80,000 words.
 
3.      Your settings need to be constantly updated

Just like writing an outline, you should first come up with the basic settings before you even begin writing, which includes your world background, main character's personality, power levels, and so on.
 
More specific settings, such as a powerful artifact that appears in the story, can be added as you write your story.
 
Unlike an outline, you don't need to fully plan out all of your settings at the very beginning. It's perfectly acceptable to think of new settings while you're writing.
 
However, newcomer authors need to note that while it's okay to come up with new settings as you write, you should write these settings down and add them to your outline or settings document as you write.
 
This is to help yourself check your own settings later in the future. Otherwise, a novel that reached over one million words and has lasted for one year or longer might cause you as an author to completely forget about something you wrote before in the past. It's even quite common to make a mistake when writing about the items that the main character possesses. Yet, there will always be a sharp-eyed reader or two that catches the author out in a misstep.
 
If you have a very detailed document on your settings, not only will you be able to greatly reduce your own plot continuity errors, you'll also be able to look through your settings whenever you have writer's block and find some inspiration in a side character that you have already forgotten about or some item that was mentioned before but never used again.
 
4.      It's better for your settings to be cliché
 
Here, this means the systems and names that you use for your settings. For example, the names and levels you use for a martial arts society.
 
Many newcomer authors will mistakenly think that using already existing well-known settings will make their novel seem too cliché, causing them to want to be as "unique" as possible. These authors will use their imaginations to come up with all sorts of fictional vocabulary words, which in their minds will make their novels "stand out." These newcomer authors don't realize that this is the worst possible way to write a novel. In the great majority of situations, this will have the opposite effect from intended.
 
A new original novel that you write should be a new interpretation or story about some specific genre or story type. How to make your novel stand out depends on the conflicts you create in your story and how the main character resolves them. As for coming up with new vocabulary words and names for your novel, even if you make them sound really cool, or make some modified slang words, it's almost never a good thing for you.
 
The reason for this can also be understood in my article about how to write the beginning of your story. By doing so, the author is placing more burden upon the readers to understand a larger amount of information.
 
There will always be other already existing words that you could have used, which are easily understood by all your readers. Instead, your readers now need to spend their time and effort on reading your explanations. Obviously, readers aren't here to read your technical manuals or info dumps. The more explanations that you have in your novel, the lower your novel's appeal and flow will become. But, if you don't add any explanations for your self-created words at all, the readers won't even understand what's going on.
 
This is why newcomer authors should avoid this useless type of "creativity" as much as possible. You should simply rely on settings that all readers are familiar with instead.
 
5.      The storyline should be pushed forward by using conflicts
 
Many newcomer authors will often develop writer's block when planning their outline or working on their novel.
 
Sometimes, this is because the author has made their storyline too messy. But most of the time, it's because the author feels like there's nothing to write about, or doesn't know what they should make the main character do. The author has no idea how to continue their own story.
 
In order to deal with writer's block, or in other words, how to push your storyline alone, the answer is actually incredibly simple.
 
You can answer this question using only one word – Conflicts!
 
Actually, the critical element of all webnovels can be summed up into one word – conflicts. For example, leveling is the desire or need of the main character to become stronger, which is a conflict between the main character and his or her own current weakness.
 
And since there is a conflict, you must resolve the conflict. And so, your main character wants to cultivate to become stronger, which means he needs to travel around the world in order to find cultivation methods…
 
All sorts of conflicts will both push forward your storyline as well as create numerous climaxes for your readers. It can be said that how you design your conflicts is the very foundation of writing any novel, not just a webnovel.
 
As for a more detailed analysis on how to design your story's conflicts, please read my intermediate-level article on the topic. For newcomer authors like you, you simply need to understand this concept, and know that you should keep coming up with new conflicts whenever you're having trouble keeping up with your own storyline. Try finding potential conflicts from plots, characters, and items you've already used, or forcefully introduce a new element into your story that creates a new conflict.
 
This can be said to be one of the most basic techniques of planning your storyline.

Okay, let's be serious here.
I'm going to totally rewrite this novel.
Why? The truth is: I've been dreaming of writing this time loop story since 2016, but this novel is bad, like really, really so bad. The plot is pretty well thought out, but honestly, the chapters themselves are mostly total TRASH!
Recently, I became aware that there were many balance problems, and I thought that these problems would create huge problems of world construction, and unacceptable gaps in the plot, which would prevent me from writing the sequel. I was right.
But the truth was crueler: This essay is a failure.
When I started writing this novel, it was the first time I was writing a story. I literally had ZERO experience or skill, I didn't know how to write a plot, describe a scene, write a fight, write a dialogue, describe a landscape, and others.
I put my soul into the design and construction of this world and the plot, but it made it even more frustrating my inability to unveil the depth it carries within, or to write the plot correctly.
To put it simply, I didn't even really know what to write to tell the story I had imagined, and to make matters worse, I hadn't even bothered to write a draft of my chapters. I was very frustrated, because I found myself unable to write the scenes I had imagined, and ended up writing something, which honestly very different from what I had imagined.
And the fact that I started learning English only recently, didn't help.
That's why I decided to rewrite this novel.
The main plot and the construction of the world would be the same (except for a few details), the story will be just as cruel and dark, and Mars will keep the same personality, but there will be more humor and comedy, and the progression will be different.
By the way, at the time I'm writing this, I've already rewritten the first 9 chapters in my native language (French [we eat wild boar and drink cervoise, AHOU!]),  and the truth is implacable.
The chapters have nothing to do with it. Everything is better, like, really fucking better, to the point that what you read almost looks like a draft you would have wiped your ass with because you ran out of toilet paper!
I've kept the backbone of the first 6 chapters, so some of the passages have stayed the same, but many things are: either told in a different way, or totally different.
When I get home in the evening, or on weekends, I invest all my free time to write the new version, and when I have time, I'll start translating them into English for posting. (I removed the three previously published new ones, because I wanted to be able to modify elements of the story, the plot or the construction of the world according to my ideas, and without being blocked by the fact that they have already been read).
In three weeks (approximately), I'll be on vacation, so I could start releasing the new chapters since I'll have time to translate them into English, and edit them to check that they're not riddled with errors. Translating a chapter and checking it takes me about 4 hours, so I usually do this on weekends, or when I'm full of energy.
I am happy and feel honored that so many of you have read chapters as bad as the ones I wrote, but even more lucky that you have been able to appreciate the story behind them. And thank you to all of you who supported me with your comments or to help me fix my bad grammar. The adventure you are about to read will not disappoint you.
I refuse to let this story die or sink into mediocrity because of my immaturity as a writer. I will write it until the final death of Mars, or my own! This is what I promised myself when I started writing this novel. (and the new version will be really, really better than the original)

A Fun Thrilling Journey begins !

Halo, I'm SinRa, you know who I am. 
Now I have an importance things to tell you guys about this story. And it will effected the continuation of the story. 
Appereantly my head give me some nice idea, I think, for the plot and world building. So the idea is I'm gonna change the plot that quite boring, I think, and the world building that honestly, I'm not very good at this.
But since the story is already walk at the main plot, and you guys already enjoy the story, I think. So I need you guys opinion. Should I change the plot. Of course the story is gonna start from chap 001 because the setting is gonna be in earth. 
Besides the plot and the setting, the conflict is gonna be the same. Slaying monster, but not like what already written, there will be more actions and fighting. Because trust me, the plot now is quite boring. Unleast you like a drama, romance, and slice of life thing. 

So this is a little peek for the plot :

"So earth appereantly got attacked by alien monster thing that come out from Bermuda Triangle. They have forms like humans. But dude, they are freaking strong. Even one of them can manage to fight US military and freaking win. 
I'm at my 15 age when disaster happen. I live in Indonesia, my country is not severely affected like a superpowered developed country. But when they are satisfied to ruffle the world, they made part of my country their headquarters. 
It is in in the middle of Papua Island. With their power, they build a city made by dirt, and there they spawn many monster. 
Well, short story, that city ruin now is a gold warehouse. Because every monster have their own price and we can make money with that. 
It made me think that the monster called Asura was the messenger of the earth to warn humans. And when they finished their task, they give us a a gold mine to restore our things. Well the gold is not actually a gold tho"

The charas and all sort of things that I have made in the written story won't gonna change and only the main plot and setting is changed. 

So that's how it is, I hope you can respond to this and give me some of your opinion if you are here with me. If you are not, I'll just gonna pretend you are ghost and definitely change the story.

Selecting a Topic
 
1. Background (Modern, Urban Superpowers, World of Magic, Eastern Fantasy etc; how to select, the characteristics and merits of each type of background; how to decide on the background of your own novel)
 
A modern background is rather straightforward, you can use real life for the set up. For Urban Superpowers, you may need to layer one or more elements on top of a modern background. Most of them are superpowers that are manifested in this world, or some cheat system built into the main character, or things like time-space systems - these will provide a measure of freedom for imagination and plot development. I ideate my story frame using real life as a foundation, as the modern background makes for an easier architectural base.
 
2. Market Research (How to determine trends according to the entertainment market, where to draw elements, my own practice)
 
Observe the types of most recent articles that are popular in the market, the sort of heroes and heroines that are most well-received - all these are ever-evolving and mutually influencing. It boils down to how you plan your story and pen its plot. For the same trendy topic on divorce, some writers may be wildly successful, and others may flop, it all depends on how the individual shapes the story. As for me, I follow one approach in my writing process, and try as much as possible to innovate within this approach.
 
 
Outline
 
1. Objectives (How to determine key objectives and the objectives at each stage; what are the key objectives and stage objectives of an existing approach)
The key objectives provide the overall direction of the piece of writing. Whether your overall direction is to head towards a break-up, or towards a reconciliation between the hero and the heroine, that is a personal choice. There can be many stage objectives. To raise a simple example, setting up the key objective of a successful life for the protagonist. In this case the first stage objective might be built around the selection of a school by the protagonist, or unfolding scenes of high school or college entrance examinations. You may also plan some upheavals into this period in the story.
 
2. Map Design (Each background and its corresponding map, for example the clan, faction or continent in a fantasy story; the workplace in an urban story; or the nation in a world of magic. Or, the most commonly-observed types of map development; and how the author himself designs his map)
The map for a modern story inevitably centers around a city, school, the office and such. You can sketch a simple diagram, according to the materials you may gather from the real world. If, for example, this plot development mainly takes place in a school, then certainly you need to plan out the school's classroom blocks and office blocks, art block, canteen, dorms, sports ground. After you've planned these, you will complete it with the main characters and supporting characters. Apart from these there is little else to take note of.
 
3. Characterization (How to determine the design of a character, what sort of likely personalities there are for the main and supporting characters, how to shape a persona that will leave a deep impression)
My designed characters are all quite similar, most of them are god-like, angelic young men, and the female protagonists are quite cool. Of course, there are many types of possible personalities for a character, it depends on your preference. For males protagonists, you can have the workplace high-fliers, the overbearing CEO, the gruff hero, the refined scums are popular too. For female protagonists, there are the gentle and adorable type, the type that is everybody's pet, the strong career woman, the academic genius... too many, it's better to go with what you like.
 
4. Contradictions and Conflicts (The sort of contradictions you can write about that correspond with the existing approach, the key contradictions, and the contradictions at each stage)
I write about contradictions between my protagonist and the supporting characters. Contradictions are a result of a cumulative process, the culmination of the contradictions at each stage, they are mainly contradictions within the friends and family circles. For example, the female protagonist may have a disagreement with a family member or anyone among her circle of friends. How did that contradiction arise? Conflict is a driver. In work life, the female protagonist may have some disagreements with her co-workers. Competition, for example, specifically vying for a case. In school, it may be results, framing someone, or relationships. All these may be points of conflicts. You have to know how to stir trouble, create something out of nothing - if points of conflicts are lacking, then create one.
 
 
Main Body
 
1. Beginning (How to initiate the story, what are some possible starting plots, what are some that will create a more lasting impression)
You may initiate the story using the main plot, highlight points of contradictions and build in suspense so that the reader desires to continue reading. Take for example the popular theme of divorce, perhaps the female protagonist's fiance had been stolen by her best friend's sister or her cousin - something like this presents a great conflict and has great ability to draw empathy. Or for a rebirth theme, it's even easier. In the first chapter you may write about how in his past life, the protagonist did not fully understand someone and was unable to come to a peaceful end, and now there was a chance to start all over again.
 
2. Leading into monetized chapters (At which point of the plot or which stage of the map to move into monetized chapters, what emotions to create in the chapter leading into the monetized chapters, how to create a cliffhanger, how to make a quick transition upon moving into the monetized chapters, and how to write in order to better retain your readers)
 
Upon moving into the VIP chapters, consider the extensiveness of your map. Try to select a climax, it may be a major or minor one. Once you've moved into the monetized chapters, the focus will be on the subsequent plot tension. A small trick is to create a bit of suspense, as far as possible, in every chapter. Simply ending your chapter with a question may be adequate to encourage the reader to click onto the next chapter.
 
 
Packaging and Later Stages
 
1. Book Title (How to quickly decide on a distinctive title that effectively reflects the content, according to its elements or other factors)
This may be drawn from the protagonist's personality, or from the main plot, by picking out two buzz words - the gut feel for this would need to be guided by the latest popular themes, starting with these buzz words.
 
2. Introduction (What should be included in the introduction, how to typeset it, ways in which it can be written; how to extract highlights from the book's content and set up)
 
An introduction provides a peek into the highlights of the story. You can start from the protagonist's reversal of a situation, using a contrast method, or you can use a questioning approach. This will depend on each author's preferred set-up. First, extract the male or female protagonist's persona, select the scene that you think will most attract readers and retain their interest, then write a short piece around these personas and scene. The introduction doesn't have to be too lengthy, as long as it keeps the reader interested for more.
 
3. Reader Interaction (How should the author manage his own website comments zone in the early days of publishing; how to retain your readers in a dignified manner at the fee collection point, what lines you can use; how to take on suggestions from readers during plot development, and improve interaction and cohesiveness with your readers)
 
 
You can leave some key spoilers in the author's notes, or pose some questions for the readers to respond to, as readers are basically quite proactive in this respect. As much as possible, retain your readers for the paying chapters. You may also use the characters in the novel to retain them. Tell the readers in a sincere manner, off-topic.

Cover: On the cover, you can see a girl on a swing and the background is blue. It is an animated cover with the title of the book and the name of the author on it. It is a short and sweet title that conveys the message of your book- that it is a collection of short original stories written by you. It gives me dreamy, fairytale vibes but not all of your stories fall under that category. I think that if you make a collection of tales, then the cover should be suitable for most of the tales, if not all.
Chapter 1: Christmas Rollercoaster
Title: Reading the title the audience can immediately get an idea about the theme of the book. I predicted the book to be about a Christmas filled with emotional rollercoasters. Technically, I wasn't wrong because Nate has gone through emotional rollercoasters due to his medical condition but at the same time, I was not expecting what I read.
Blurb: In the blurb of this chapter, you included a short excerpt from 
Plot: This is a short story and the plot is fictional. It mostly follows Nate and doesn't show much about his wife and daughter. I would have liked to read a little more about them. I was a little confused when the first transition from real-life to alternative life happened. The beginning was a bit confusing but it all made sense in the end. I like how the real Nate understands the value of family over money at the end of the story.
Theme: The theme of the book is Christmas, regret, grieve, family, and priorities.
Grammar and Writing Style There were absolutely no grammatical errors that I could find. Your writing style is quite captivating indeed. If you would like to experiment in your writings further, I could suggest using some more jargon words and descriptive words in your story.

Chapter 2: Shining Through His broken Pieces
Title: I figured that it was about a guy whose heart had been broken but the title doesn't give away the plot completely, which is great. It gives a tiny glimpse of the theme of the book but not what the reader would be expecting.
Blurb: The blurb doesn't tell you enough about the story, I think. It has a few sentences from the story but I believe that you should add some more mystery to the blurb and maybe give an abstract introduction to the main character. Leave some room for the imagination of the reader.
Plot: The chapter follows a young man and his story about meeting a girl who breaks down his walls. I think that most of the beauty of your plot was because of your choice to make it character-driven rather than plot-driven. It followed the young man and his emotional journey rather than the events of the story which was a great choice. I would have liked to read more about his childhood and his home. That would have given the reader a better idea about the trauma that he has been through, allowing them to be more connected with the character. I think that it is important for a reader to feel connected with the characters for them to fully enjoy the book. I think a little more detail about the girl would have also been a great addition to the value of the chapter overall. 
Theme: The theme of this book is trauma, first-love, emotions, and identity crisis.
Grammar and Writing Style: Just like your previous chapter, I did not find any grammatical errors, but when I tell you that I loved your writing style in this chapter, it is an understatement. The way you described his emotions and his thoughts, is so beautiful and engaging. I couldn't stop reading and how I wish it was a full novel instead of a short story. I also liked how the characters were anonymous like their names had not been mentioned even once.
