Races 
Witches 
Witches are kinda like humans. The main differences are that they have a much longer life span (1,000s of years), and a magic type. They get their magic from a crystal that appears right after they are born. They can wear it on a necklace chain, bracelet, or earring. Really anything but a ring. Witches give the crystal energy exchange for magic. The magic type is hereditary, but the strength of the spell they can cast is based on how much the witch knows. 
They can be born 4 ways. 
Human and witch, the child will get the witch parent's magic type. Elf and witch will get the witch parent's magic type, but their magic strength will be the same as the elf parent. Witch and witch, the child will get one of the parent's magic types. Magically. The spell that can make a witch is only known by high-ranking witches. They use a living object or an object from a living thing and make a witch from it. And a genetic material from the parent(s). The magic type is based on the object they were born from. Since they only have one parent they look will be a mix of the object and their parent's looks. 
Elves are very close to witches. Elves are humans or witches that are in between dark or light souls/angels. They have the same life span, and they also have magic. But they get a ring instead of a crystal, the color depends on how they died. Red/orange mean murder, yellow/green mean natural death, blue/purple mean suicide, and multi-colored stones mean accidental death. And their magic type is based on their personality, and the strength is based on their mental health. The better their mental health the stronger their magic is. 
Familiars 
They are wild animals that have been enchanted by witch's magic to give them another form. This form is mostly human-looking and acts like a human body. They can change from human to animal at any given time. Only high-level animal witches can do this spell, so not many witches can do this themself. But a lot of witches have familiars.
After a familiar Is "born" they are given a piece of jewelry, that they keep on in both forms. This makes it easier for other witches and elves to know what wild animals are familiars and which are just wild animals. A familiar's human form is based on their animal form. Both characteristics and personality. An example would be a giraffe familiar would be tall and have two-toned brown hair and dark eyes. Their personality would be very protective of their witch, while also being very patient and clever.
Other random things are, While in their human form they will eat human food like sandwiches and pizza. But when in their animal form they will eat wild animals or fruit/nuts depending on their natural diet. They were first made for witches who were by themself. So they feel less lonely. They are still used for that purpose. But some richer families use them as bodyguards. Or more intelligent species are used as tutors. And more motherly species are used as nannies.
Humans are non-magical beings, who were made when the big bang happened. They are watched over by the council, and sometimes the God Abiek. Only a few know about witches and elves. 
Angel
 Are what witches turn into after they die. Witches get wings, and their looks depend on the magic they have: elementals get white or cream feathers. Celestials get black or grey feathered wings. Elves don't get wings, but their ears grow longer and more pointed.  
Souls 
Are what humans become after they die, some humans choose to be reincarnated right after they die (that can only happen for light souls). Others choose to live in Cirrus for a while(most dark souls have to stay in Cirrus, so they can make up for what they did on earth). There are two types of souls: light, and dark. The light were humans who did more good acts than bad. Dark is the opposite, more bad than good. The only change to their looks are wings, which are dependent on their personality. Very romantic people might have swan-themed wings or if a child dies very young they could have dove-themed wings. 
a little bit more about souls/angels. Lights can be reincarnated right way, or can stay in Cirrus. While darks have to stay until they turn light. All darks have a butterfly tattoo that can only be removed by the Goddess. Some lights are asked to stay by the queen who is the archangel of change. Meaning she is in charge of making sure that all dark can turn into to light.
Spirits 
Are witches, elves, or humans. That have broken rules, or they can't be reincarnated. They live on a specialized cloud and are watched over by Dealla. 
Fairies
Are humans that have made a deal with the council or higher ranked being. That gives them a tiny drop of power, exchange for a task(s). Along with some power they also get wings that are insect-themed. Most of them fall under royalty or intelligent rank. 
Another thing to know about what lives in Cirrus, are animals and plants. Winged animals are the animals that have died. They look the same other than having wings. Most other beings have wings, but some don't. So they use them to travel. Royal or high ranking use them for traveling as well. Smaller animals like bunnies and cats are used to carry messages. Plants only grow in places that have enchanted with soil or dirt instead of clouds. The most common places that are enchanted are housing for both residents and animals.

Are angels that have jobs, that have been appointed by the council or higher. Th

Anybody else that lives in either Cirrus or earth. 
Places in Cirrus
The main types are business, governmental, recreational, and Residential. Business (names are named after flowers or animals) places are places that mainly have shops, but there are some other types included. Like animal adoption places. Governmental (the names are very straightforward) places that archangels work at, or any other place that does with the government in some way. Recreational (the names go with the theme) places that have fun things to do, for example, ice rinks, parks, and campsites. Residential (names are named after the family's that live there) a place for the people who have a rank lower than the council lives. 
Main cloud regions 
The Spirit region (governmental) 
Only three people can travel to and back from The Spirit region. The God Aibek, the Goddess Zoha, and the keeper of the realm Daella. This region is where spirits live. There are two kinds of spirits in the region. Free spirits can move around the realm, while trapped spirits are stuck in a jail-like structure. 
The Council Region (governmental)
There are two different clouds in this region. The first one has the council building, this is where the council works, and the place where all living things appear after they die. 
The Osteospermum Ecklon Region (business)
Is one of the most visited places in Cirrus. Because this region has many different kinds of shops from all different places. 
The Datura Region (business)
This place only has animal-themed shops. 
The Silver Region (recreational)
This place is for horse riding and where the biggest horse competition takes place (for magical beings). 
The Mocha Region (recreational)
This region has the biggest library that contains the oldest books. 
The Iris Region (residential)
This is where light angels live, and some archangels. 
The Lavender Region (residential)
where dark angles can live while their  transforming

"Do you think he would stay?"
After Thunder's footsteps died away, Roland asked Nightingale.
"I don't know," Nightingale said slowly. "But he was serious about the last sentence he said."
Roland nodded in silence. Apart from Lightning, Roland wanted Thunder, the most extraordinary explorer in the Fjords, to stay also because of a personal reason, that was, Thunder could attract many Fjords people to Neverwinter, and he was the ideal man to command the fleet.
According to Agatha, the Red Mist probably had already permeated half of the Kingdom of Everwinter by now and might had also reached the border of the Kingdom of Wolfheart. Under such circumstances, he had to carry out his rescue operation from the coast and attack the demons from sides. Judging from the battle at the Northernmost Port, he believed that a powerful fleet was absolutely necessary to alleviate the stress of the army.
Although there were many merchant ships traveling back and forth, it was impossible to rely on them to fight the demons in the area covered with the Red Mist. Roland could definitely build several large ships, but what he urgently needed were sailors and a commander.
If Thunder was willing to help him, all these problems could be instantly solved.
But Roland also knew that he could not force Thunder to stay. He would have to let him think it over.
Roland thus went back to his work. Suddenly, the telephone rang.
It was from the Witch Building in the Castle District.
"Hello?"
"Your Majesty, it's Wendy," Wendy's voice came from the other end of the line. "We found witches at the checkout at the Shallow Port."
...
"Sir, where are you taking us?"
Thylane asked gingerly while holding Momo's hand.
Not a long time ago, they had been waiting in the line like any other immigrants to pass the security. However, when they entered the registration area, they were taken to a heavily guarded room separately by the guards in black.
They immediately turned nervous.
They had heard that a few refugees had to go through a series of "special interrogation" when they entered some cities and would have to bribe the examining officers to avoid being punished.
However, the officer did not do anything but simply leave them alone in the room. He asked them a few strange questions and released them. After that, another man in black took them to the inner city.
"You don't have to be so nervous. My name is Joseph," the man in black said mildly. "You're witches, aren't you?"
Thylane was startled. She did not expect that Joseph would soon see through their true identities. She did not know how he had figured it out, for she thought that she was in heavy disguise.
"Why... did you say that?"
"I don't know anything about magic, but the witches told me," Joseph said while scratching the back of his head. "I know they use a special stone to detect magic power. As for where I'm taking you, I'm taking you to the witches' residential area, of course. You must be tired, right? Don't worry. Ms. Wendy will take good care of you."
Thylane and Momo exchanged surprised looks.
They were astonished that Neverwinter had so advanced technologies to detect witches. Had the church and the nobles in the Kingdom of Wolfheart also possessed such technologies, they would have been captured and killed years ago.
Also, it appeared that people in Neverwinter did not discriminate witches at all.
Their master had told them about this city in the far west of Graycastle as well as its ruler, Roland Wimbledon. They had also heard a lot of rumors before they had boarded the ship. Nevertheless, what they had heard from their master was very different from those rumors. Their master described the King of Graycastle as an arrogant and vile tyrant who hired witches to satisfy his own wicked desire, while people on the ship believed that witches were treated in the same way as ordinary people in Neverwinter.
That was the reason they had decided to move to the south.
As the Kingdom of Wolfheart was so far away from Graycastle, nobody knew what life in Neverwinter truly looked like. Therefore, they planned to conceal their witch identity and see what was going on first before taking the next move. They did not expect, however, that they were soon exposed.
Luckily, people here treated them just as normal residents.
When they reached the outer ring of the Castle District, a red-haired woman came up to them with two smiling little girls.
"I'll take it over from here."
"Yes, Ms. Wendy!" Joseph said and administered a salute. Then he waved at Thylane and Momo and quickly left.
Thylane started to study the woman named Wendy attentively.
"My name is Wendy. I'm the superintendent of the Witch Union of Neverwinter. These two are my assistants, Ring and Grayrabbit," Wendy said with a smile. "Can I have your names? Although from the list I have, I see that your names are Thylane and Momo, I do want you to pronounce your names in person."
Thylane instantly felt a lot at ease. It had been a long time since she had met such a nice person. To her, Wendy looked more like a noble than those true ones. She was mature and elegant, who reminded her of someone depicted in a portrait.
"I'm Thylane," she replied in a low voice.
"Momo," her companion also pronounced her own name.
"Good names," Wendy commented as she held the two witches' hands. "Welcome to Neverwinter. From now on, this will be your new home. Come. I'll show you around and take you where you're going to live in the future."
They passed the fence and the yard before Thylane noticed that the Lord's castle was actually not the highest building in the city. Behind that stood a more magnificent edifice. Between these two buildings lay a large, lovely garden carpeted with grass. Several beautiful ladies were chatting leisurely.
This was perhaps the dream life she had been longing for.
"Are they also... witches?" Momo asked involuntarily.
"Yes," Wendy said with a nod. "You'll see more when they're off work."
"Er... off work?"
"It means finishing working," Ring explained. "In Neverwinter, witches, like everybody else, have work to do every day."
"Then what about them..."
The little girl twiched her lips and said, "Like ordinary people, some are hard-working while some are lazy."
"Didn't your sister tell you that I have good hearing?" a girl with pointy ears said as she turned around and walked up to them smilingly.
"Ah... Lorgar, I was not talking about you," Ring explained while waving her hand. "I was talking about — "
"Hey, new members to the Union?" Another person joined the conversation as she ambled over. "Hello, I'm Mystery Moon, the captain of the Neverwinter Detective Group! Whatever ability you have, feel free to join us. How does it sound? Are you interested?"
"I was talking about her," Ring said as she covered her face in embarrassment.
"Really? Were you introducing me?" Mystery Moon said while resting her hands on her hips. "Remember, the Detective Group is dedicated to solving problems using your brain. If someone asks you to join the Exploration Group, please ignore them. They only want people with great physical strength and never take personal qualities into consideration. This wolf girl is a perfect example."
"Hey, do you want to have a taste of my fist?" Lorgar snarled while baring her teeth.
"Look, this is the proof!" Mystery Moon said as she hastily made an attempt to block Lorgar's upcoming attack.
"So embarrassing..."
"Well, can I go back to my reading?" some other witches murmured.
Thylane gaped.
It appeared that the life here was a little different than what she had pictured.

Lucifer POV
After just recruiting Trevor and Rose I was just looking at my city bekah was guilt-tripped by Nik into staying with them I do visit her from time to time. When I felt a presence as I smiled asked "Well Azrael what made you visit me now you and Uriel are the busiest angels in all of heaven."

Azrael sighed "Father has a job for you, Luci."I narrowed my eyes at that Azrael then started to explain "Well Osiris came to visit father."
I raised an eyebrow and asked, "I thought the Egyptian pantheon decided to stop contact with other pantheons as well as the mortal world."
Azrael replied seriously, "That has not changed Luci's they asked Father for help and Father thought you were the best person for the job  since you spend more time in the mortal world."I heard this I grumbled, "What Job does Father have for me"
Azrael sighed "Do you remember the Book of the Dead and Book of the Living, Set gave to his followers of witches and warlocks ."I asked sarcastically, "So let me guess they had had it hidden away now it has fallen into some group's hand."
Azarel nodded "Yes the group calls themselves Ma'at they are slowly growing in numbers you just have to get the books from them and since you are the best person to keep it safe."
I was thoughtful and  mock glared at Azrael "This is not going to be the last time father is going to send me for such jobs and you know how easy this is for me."
Azrael smiled "You can do these jobs to keep yourself from being bored" then vanished into thin air.
I cracked my knuckles  "So I have somethings to keep me busy for the next 500 years if I can guess. Then let's get down to businesses shall we."I zeroed in on the location of the two books.
I found Book of the Dead as I muttered "Smart of them to keep the two books apart."I walked towards the Pyramid they were hiding in it was easy to bypass all the trap spells.
As I entered the main hall I felt a group of witches giving me an aneurysm I looked at the idiots who were grinning at me I asked tiredly "Do you even not see this is not affecting me."
This made them slightly on the edge seeing aneurysm performed by these many witches were not affecting me I waved in their direction leading them all to blow up in pieces.
I looked in direction of the leader who was hiding and grinned "Well come out of your little hiding place Amun you have to answer some questions of mine, If you do answer it correctly I will let you go."
Amun who quickly ran and kneeled in front of me "My lord I will answer your every question please let me live."I smiled and replied, "Yes I will let you go Amun tell me Where is the book of the living, I know it is with your brother Ammon tell me the location."
I already knew the location this is just for fun since I want to see if this ugly soul has the least bit of love for his sibling.
Amun immediately spilled the location I smiled and showed him the way out Amun just ran just as he reached the door he burned to death in hellfire.
I shook my head "I would have let him live if he didn't tell me the location."I held my hand out as the Book of the Dead came flying towards me.I muttered "All this trouble over this book sure it has some really good spells especially the one that removes a person's immortality and the spell for resurrection."
I teleported to the next location I decided to not play around the next I walked though the witches as all started to slowly disintegrate Thanos style.
I took the book of the Living and smiled "So the job is done."I decided to free the imprisoned witches they had all of them had been captured from one place or another brought as slaves.
I was escorting them back as I saw Ammon the co-leader and brother of Amun who asked "Who are you."I smiled and he replied, "Lucifer Morningstar the Devil."
Ammon slowly died while the witches who were behind him were looking at him in reverence poor Lucifer didn't know that he will be treated as a god, I mean the devil by these witches who will create a group of their own.
Lucifer was just humming as he continued killing witches who are insane or recruiting witches for his city

After 7 months
Mikaelson POV
Rebekah was now seeing Nik going on a rampage on finding out Katrina escaped and even became a vampire. Nik was shouting "I will kill her whole family for this."I was looking at my nails and replied "What is that going to accomplish anyway Nik why to punish her family for her
Nik glared at Rebekah "What are you trying to say Bekah."Rebekah just shrugged "I am just telling you are taking the same method as Mikael did hurting or killing anyone who is going against him."
Nik yelled, "I am not anything like him."Rebekah replied, "Yes you are after all talking of killing a whole family for something Katrina did."
Nik grabbed Rebekah's throat and slammed her into the wall while Rebekah was trying get break his grip Nik saw the Devil insignia Ring he flinched and let go of her.
Flashback
Nik was starring at the daggers as he suddenly heard from the shadows "Are those daggers really beautiful Nik that you can't seem to take your eyes away from them."
Nik saw Lucifer come out from the shadows Nik quickly put a fake smile "Nothing just trying to make sure the Daggers do not fall into the wrong hands."Lucifer nodded "Is that so."
Nik suddenly was kneeling in front of Lucifer who had his Devil eyes spoke in a calm tone "Don't lie to me Nik if you ever use those daggers on Bekah or any of your siblings.I will make your life hell this is just a taste of that."
Nik suddenly felt as if he is being burned alive in hellfire not even being able to scream it only stopped after 5 hours Nik who was sweating and staring at lucifer with pure fear.
Lucifer smiled and asked, "We have an understanding right Nik the moment you hurt Bekah just remember your countdown starts."
Lucifer simply broke his neck after that.
Flashback ends
Nik who had remembered this quickly sped away from the room with Elijah ran after him.
Bekah who looked at the ring and thought "Even when you are not here you keep protecting me."
Kol said looking at everyone "Nik has been getting out of control lately I don't know if he himself notices this but he is behaving like Mikael sometimes also he is keeping those daggers from the hunters with him which only means he either doesn't want others to get it or he plans to use it on us if we disobey him."
Finn raised an eyebrow "I knew his behavior is getting out of hand but do you really think he will dagger us."Freya pitched in "Absolutely  I was talking with Kol about going to visit some witch communities after this whole ordeal I heard Nik projecting his thought on how Kol will be daggered if we try he is thinking up ways to contain me."
Rebekah replied in concern "That is a problem."
Kol decided to change the subject "Lucifer is really making a name for himself from what from witch friends tell me they have many names for him but two  names kinda stuck."Finn was interested and asked, "So what names did they give him."
Kol smirked "The Original warlock and The Devil."Freya raised an eyebrow and asked, "Like the son of the pagan God."Kol just nodded
Rebekah's thoughts "Lucifer, Azrael, Raphael  all their names are the same as the ones from the pagan religion I must ask Lucifer about this it is too much of a coincidence."
Lucifer who is helping a group of werewolves started sneezing  and muttered"Who is thinking about me now of all times."

I write this for fun English is not my first language so writing quality is bad.

A long time ago, before the dinosaurs there were three empires all of which worked side by— Oh hey, I am your narrator. This book that comes before you is a book of utter sacredness, centuries ago this was found, old and rotten, now renewed. Let's resume... as I was saying...
These three empires were closer than close, nearer than near. Their ancestors fought and arguments aroused. There was imbalance due to injustice, rogues formed from all tribes forming packs amongst themselves. Rogue witches gave away their powers, rogue werewolves neglected their inner wolves, vampires went suicidal. There was chaos beyond words until the fifth decade. The witches prevail and the werewolves hid, the vampires, however, decreased in number rapidly.
There was population imbalance and intrusion so often that our leaders had a truce and placed a barrier barricading the three empires. Within these empires there are tribes owned by kings and their queens. However, in the werewolf tribes there are packs owned by Alphas and Lunas. Till now it remains like this unsolved, rogues have a hideout in the middle of these three tribes, some manage to cross the barrier but some die before they even reach it. Guards patrol the area now and the barrier can only be crossed by those who are genetically owned by the empire.
Some are part wolf and part witch, therefore they may enter the wolf and witch tribes, provided the people in the empire don't execute them. A part vampire and part wolf however, has different conditions. Vampires are known to be the serial killers, taking out huge numbers of living beings for their life span. If one enters the barrier of a wolf, they may pass, but the people there will most certainly not spare him. This, is what we call, my friends. Indifference.
I'm a witch, my parents are pure witches. On my first birthday, I am loyal to the witches. On my twelfth birthday, my powers surfaced. My witch powers. On my sixteenth birthday, I got my prophecy. All witches have it, but for me, it's different. Mine was long, chunky, and stupidly, ridiculously scary. That was also the day I found out that my parents lied to me my whole life.
I remembered the day clearly. The elder of our tribe read the prophecy. Before he even managed to complete it, his eyes grew into an eery green then it flickered red, then blue, then back to green again. He yelled, "THE CHOSEN ONE!" and the earth rumbled and gasps echoed throughout the hallways. My parents fell on their knees while the elder looked at them with the most stern face ever. The elder spoke, "Your presence, the presence of your child, is a burden. It is uninvited and most certainly forbidden, but we will remain secretive of this, for your child is a young triple bred beast, with the genetics of a witch, a wolf and a vampire, she can still be raised in the right manner. Just know that if she makes even the slightest wrong move and can't prove herself right, she will be terminated, like the rest of them ancestors whom have fought against us."
I will not go against my parents. Against the witches. I will be upright, brave, loyal. They have kept my existence throughout my seventeen years on this earth and I must repay them.
It's the middle of the night, and I'm mumbling to myself about the book I read before going to bed, in my own sleep. All of a sudden, this delicious scent of... honey baked cookies... or was it cinnamon rolls? Anyways, the scent hit me and I woke up with a jerk. I slowly climb out of bed and follow the smell to the kitchen. How is mum cooking already? The sky is still pitch black!
I reach to the kitchen and to my dismay, find that the kitchen is quiet and empty. I look around for the source of the smell and it looks like it's coming from my backyard.
Strange... I thought. Must be our neighbors cooking up some sleeping spell.
That is when my eyes caught a pair of sunken blue eyes. I look closer and catch sight of a... a... there's a... My mind! My mouth! I can't speak, or scream, or yell! Wolf!
It shifts right in front of me, revealing a huge, masculine, naked as shit body. I almost scream but this man is quick; he slides open the door between us, cups a hand over my mouth. He then drags me out and closes the door behind us. It's near winter and summer is starting soon. I am turning eighteen by the end of spring. I shiver at the cold and a low, husky voice whispers into my ear, "Don't you dare." His voice was so quiet but it still managed to shake every bone in me.
Alpha! I realized.
'You're right about that.' He makes a path into my head. A mate bond.
My face drains its color and I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I am about to ditch the witch empire, I will make a mistake. I will be executed.
No no no no no, I can't bond with a wolf!
'Get out!' I yell through our mate telepathy.
'But you're mine...' He purrs and I shiver, tears sliding down my cheeks as I cower in fright. I try to scream, but the hand over my mouth stops the scream above my throat and I sob, I choke. My parent's room light flickers and soon, the whole house lit up.
They heard and they're coming for me. A confuse expression wipe across the face of the Alpha, "They can hear?" He asks me out loud, but softly. He is suspecting that they are double bred. My dad is a wolf and a wizard after all, but he neglected his wolf.
A voice comes from the house, dad's voice, "Aurora!"
"The hell?" The Alpha seems beyond confused, he was disgusted. I could see him contemplating on whether to let me go or take me away. "You're coming with me." He says, and I dread it. He shifts and I can hear the cracking of bones which doesn't seem to hurt him at all. I take the chance to scream as a paw yanks at my shirt and dumps me on its fluffy back. I sob into the wolf's thick fur because there was no chance of me getting off. He ran so quick I clung on so tight. When I almost fell off his back, I heard him muttering a spell, or at least I heard him from my head. A spell!
A invisible strap pushes my whole body onto him, knocking the breath out of me, before buckling me tight onto him as he ran. I cried louder and louder with every breath though no one could hear me, because everyone hear are pure witches, and pure witches have the most terrible hearing skills. No wonder the Alpha was shocked.
"What are you?" I croak out loud.
'I am the werewolf of the wolf empire. I live in the Elite tribe, and I am the Alpha of my father's pack. My name is Chase and I am a wizard too.' He uses our mate bond to communicate and I don't answer because I was too afraid. So, I think of something else.
In every empire, there are rules. Like for example, our names.
In the witch empire, every wizard and witch are to name their child ending with the sound 'Ah', like my name, 'Aurora' or mum's name 'Elisha' and dad's name 'Ezra'.
In the vampire empire, love that catch by the way, their names have this hissing sound, like 'Kris' or 'Bliss', it gives this eery reptilian feeling, it really matches their character too.
The wolf empire have cool names, I guess... male werewolves must have names that contain the sound 'ace' or 'eek' like 'Chase' and maybe 'Daze' and 'Deke'. For females, their names end with 'y'. It's complicated, but once you dwell your whole life in it, it's normal.
Witches can be sweet and tender but they can be fierce and stern too. Vampires can be lively and outgoing, but when hunting or in a fight, they are quick and cruel. They kill their preys or enemies at sight and don't hesitate to drain their victims' blood in front of an audience. Wolves are confident and caring, but in battle, they are loyal to their pride and torturous to their enemies.
'Stop thinking' Chase complains, 'I can hear you, ya know?'
'Get out then!' I yell back at him.
'Your divine tantrum, ever so bad.' He laughs. Holy mama cow of a banana, he sounds like people from the past.
'You separate me from my tribe, my family, my herbs, my spells, MY FOOD! How dare you try to tame my tantrum. You are but a... pig!' I continue to throw my "divine tantrum".
'That doesn't even make sense baby.'
'Not your baby.' I simply mumble in my head. Thousands of curse words echoes through my head and I won't be surprised if Chase throws up.
'I won't throw up, my wolf will.' Chase teases, 'But right now, he's too happy that he's found you.'
'Does he have a name?' I ask, trying to ignore the annoyance in me.
'Mini chase.' I could almost here the smirk in his voice before his wolf growls and almost tosses me off his back. 'Hey! Watch it! Your mate is on your back! I don't wanna bring her back only to have to take her to the doctor.' Chase warns. The wolf growls and Chase gives in, 'This buddy's name is Cade.'
'Mhmm.' I gently rub the neck of the wolf and sigh into him. He purrs and I hear Chase huff 'I wanna shift back already.' His wolf growls in denial and Chase laughs it off. 'I'm your owner, what power do you have over me, doggy?' The wolf growls again and I find myself starting to doze off, and I really do despite all the worry that's flooding in my head. Witches will demand war against wolf but will they have rights against a mate bond? Will they be able to argue against the odds? Even so, it is my choice but not my power.

With a flick of her wand, her world turns completely upside down.
A witch and a prophesy. A beast or a hero? Will she change the world for the good or the bad?

Emmelyn sat still in her place, thinking about what Mrs. Adler told her. She had no magical powers and didn't know any witch but the old witch sitting across from her now. This was a foreign world to her.
If she was really cursed by the Leoraleis, then the only way to get freedom from the curse was to find the family and ask them to lift their curse. 
She didn't even know how and why she offended them so much to deserve this horrific punishment. She must find out what happened.
But how...?
She was currently pregnant with Harlow. Even though she was healthy, she couldn't take risks for her baby. She was a first-time mother and really didn't know what to expect. 
Lily had explained to her about some technicalities, but still.. it was different from woman to woman and she had not got her own real-life experience. 
Even the symptoms, the cravings, physical discomforts that she had been experiencing were different from what Lily experienced.
And the same woman could even have different pregnancy and labor experiences with each baby that they gave birth to. If anything, Emmelyn didn't want to let anything happen to Harlow.
But.. how would she get the curse that befell her lifted?
"What are the names of your witch sisters?" Emmelyn asked Mrs. Alder. Even though she still didn't know what to do to find them, at least she could have their names and details. Maybe, she could send someone to look for those witches to help her?
That was one way to do it. She would discuss with Mars about her situation after her husband returned, and together they would work together to break the curse.
Now, Emmelyn could really understand and feel sympathetic to Mars's condition in the past.
So, this was how it felt like to be cursed and see your loved ones suffer. Mars lived for 27  years seeing his mother suffer so much sadness, losses, and pain.  
And Emmelyn now realized that her family and the people who were close to her suffer from the curse that befell her.  
That's why her parents and siblings died, that's why her teacher's son got captured by pirates, that's why Wintermere fell, and maybe... that's why Mars' curse was lifted so he would fall in love with her and soon suffer greatly.
She still didn't know what kind of suffering that he would go through because of Emmelyn... but the thought was enough to make her feel distraught and despondent.
She must find help as soon as possible.
"They are called Margueritte The White and Dolores The Firebringer," said Mrs. Adler. "At least, that's what they were known as before they embarked on the journey to Atlantea decades ago."
Emmelyn was impressed by the names. She knew that usually powerful witches and wizards were only known by their first names and their nicknames. So, this showed that Margueritte and Dolores, Mrs. Adler's witch sisters were powerful witches.
She wondered what those two witches were capable of, and if they ever cast any spell, equivalent to the curse that Mars and herself were suffering from.
"Okay.. so, if I met them, or if I sent someone to look for them, should I mention that I know them from you?" Emmelyn asked again.
Mrs. Adler smiled sweetly and nodded. "Yes. Tell them you know them from Alexia Adler. That's my name. They would know that we are friends. Even though I was not an official disciple, they treated me as one of them. They were very kind and helped me a lot. I think they would be willing to help you."
Emmelyn felt the heavy burden on her chest was slowly reduced. At least, now she already got something.
From Bruinen she found out that she was possibly cursed by the Leoraleis of Myreen, and from Mrs. Adler, she could get the link to two powerful witches in Atlantea who might be able to help her find the Leoraleis.
Ah... didn't she also know someone in Atlantea? She spent 5 months on the road with that guy, Maxim. He had been traveling across the continent for a long time and knew so much. 
Maybe, Emmelyn could also find him and ask for his help to get to Myreen?
Okay.. she just had to find someone that she could trust enough, to go to Atlantea and find those people.
And then.. she would see.
"Thank you so much, Mrs. Adler. This means a lot to me," she wiped her teary eyes and gripped the hem of her dress, looking determined. She must handle this curse as soon as possible before anyone close to her fell victim.
"Mrs. Adler..." she looked at the old woman and spoke with a sad expression. "I initially wanted to ask you to help me during childbirth..."
Mrs. Adler looked up to her when she heard the princess said she wanted the old witch to help her during labor. For someone like Mrs. Adler, a mere village witch, helping a princess, the future queen of Draec, giving birth was an unthinkable honor. So, her face immediately lit up.
"Your Highness..." Mrs. Adler pressed her lips in disbelief.
This was an honor, she thought. Never in a million years did she think a princess would think her worthy of that role.
"I feel more comfortable with you around when I am giving birth..." said Emmelyn. However, her voice sounded dejected. "But.. unfortunately, now I have to rethink that decision. I don't want your help anymore."
"W-why...?" Mrs. Adler was disappointed to hear Emmelyn's words, but she kept her countenance calm and polite.
"I also don't want you to come here again..." Emmelyn added. Tears slowly dripped down to her cheeks. "I consider you a good friend, and I don't want you to get bad luck because you are close to me."
The old witch felt like she was showered by really cold water. She could understand why this princess looked so despondent.
Apparently, she didn't want people who were close to her to suffer because of her curse.

Barron hearing this couldn't stop the smile and stepped forward and back into the circle where the black witches stood. The rabbit walked towards the witcher as if looking lost until deciding to drop dead next to the person but the witcher was no idiot to notice that this wasn't a living rabbit but it was a stuffed rabbit doll that could be made use of as a voodoo doll. 
The witcher picked up the stuffed rabbit, "Where did you come from?" asked the witcher, picking up the rabbit in his hand he took a closer look at the toy. The witcher carried it along with him to where the other fellow witcher stood. 
"What did you pick there? A girl's doll?" asked the witch, "It looks dirty and thrown. Throw it away."
"What? Why?" asked the witcher intrigued with the toy. Its hands were long and lean. A rabbit that had lost an eye to be buttoned up in a different place and the body structure long with flappy long ears.
"What are you, a girl to pick a rabbit from here?" the witch looked at the witcher, her scaly face and eyes that were snake-like looking down at the rabbit that looked ragged and old. Barron continued to play dead with no movement and the witches never had an inkling of what had possessed the stuffed toy. 
"Come on it looks cute," responded back the switcher to receive an eye roll from the witch. 
With their work of setting up the marking done in the village, the witches started to leave the village, taking Barron along with them and Lucas followed them with a good distance. 
"Do you think Master Hendrick's man will be able to give out absolute immortality with powers?" asked the witcher, swaying his hand front and back as he walked that was carrying the toy. 
The witch used her hand to smack the witcher's head, "How many times do I have to tell you to not use names when we are outside! You fucking moron."
"What a fucking moron," Barron added in a sing-song voice who was hanging back and forth thanks to the witcher. 
"But Ophelia, there's no one around us," and this received another hit from the witch who slowly transformed herself from the hideous-looking creatures who were the black witches to a beautiful woman. 
"What word of not using names do you not get you bucket head of tweez!" the woman slapped him right across his face and shook her wrist as though it had her hurt hand when in truth it didn't and she was only practising how to appear more human that wouldn't cause any doubt. 
"What did I do, ugh!" he fell down on the ground when the woman brought her hands up to electrocute him with spells. 
"Fucking dumbass. Haven't you heard that even the wind carries messages to the enemies? If the man hears you speaking his name, he will personally pull out your long tongue and burn it with a hot iron by sticking it through," the witch named Ophelia had slate grey eyes and blonde hair that were left open to cascade down her back with the wind lightly pushing it behind her, "Now, shut your mouth else I will dig you somewhere here myself."
The male witch closed his mouth and then continued to walk behind the woman even though he looked older than her. He himself started to transform himself into a young man, going away from the village after what they had been asked to do. 
Both Barron and Lucas who followed the witches were interested in what the witcher had brought up.
"We don't know if the scientist's work is going to work but that's what's been asked. He's the one controlling the witches work here, trying to control on behalf of the mistress. The easiest source of energy doesn't come through the sun or the moon. It comes from the dead, by killing the humans and the other creatures. This being one of the closest villages with just humans, it will be easy to draw power when they start to work."
A massacre to create immortality? asked Lucas to himself. The creatures of the living always wanted to live longer and stronger but even a pureblooded vampire died one day. Death was inevitable. 
Even if the witches would go ahead in helping out on this particular village to be sacrificed, death would not fall upon the families who lived there because he had broken the mark before it could complete. 
 "We have everything we need. The humans for sacrifice, the spells and the master's servant. Though I don't understand what's the point of having it when we will be turning to supreme creatures once the black magic will unbind and come to us."
"I cannot wait for that day!" the witcher spoke in an excited voice. 
"Soon. The days are coming soon and the black witches will rule these lands that rightfully belong to us."
When the witcher looked back at the rabbit, he brought it forward to run his hand down the rabbit's ears and suddenly when he pulled the ear of the rabbit, Barron bit into his skin that had the teeth of a reaper. 
"Ow!" yelped the witcher in pain. 
Both the black witches stared at the rabbit how wiggled out and stood in front of them, "What did you do?" asked the woman in the question of how a stuffed rabbit that had been quiet and dead had suddenly breathed itself to life. 
"I didn't do anything!" answered the man, "I went to pull the ear and it bit me," said the witcher looking down at his arm that had a bite mark. Black blood oozed out of his arm. He pulled out the knife from his back quickly, aiming it towards the rabbit that was looking at them while standing with its hind legs in front of them. 
"You were supposed to play dead a little longer," Lucas clicked his tongue, walking forward with his mortal form to look at the black witches.


Waking up from a nightmare several hours before dawn, Belle fetched a drink of water. 

She paused in front of her kitchen's window when she noticed a lit lantern in front of her mansion's garden. Her butler stood there, shovel in hand. This was no hour to be gardening. 

Curious, she made her way outside, but when she had gotten close enough to see a large and hollow pit next to her eternally-stoic and polite butler, she saw him pick up a rotten body. 

A DEAD BODY!

Her eyes widened fearfully when she saw her handsome butler drop the rotting body into the fresh hole. She asked in horror, "What are you doing?!" 

Surprised to see his young miss awake at this hour, he stared at her with the same expression he had been keeping up for all these years. He had made sure she was asleep before coming here.

"Gardening."

"And the body?!" she looked at him in disbelief.

"Fertilizer," he answered her before picking up the shovel that was on the ground. Belle was now certain something had possessed her butler. Who gardened dead bodies?!

She then heard him ask her, "Want to help me in planting it, Miss Adams?" he gave her a sweet smile.

Being asked the question, Seoyeon looked quizzical at Min Beomgyu. The White witch's question instead put a heap of confusion to her mind. If she was not a dark witchess then what was she? Did he mean to ask her being the catalyst? But Jung Hwa told her the man was yet to be trusted in the matter of the catalyst and she knows well not to fall into trap made by others.




"Yesterday we received a confirmation that her parents are dark witches," It was Jung Hwa who replied instead of her. "Can a dark witches couple have a child that does not belong to their own kin?"




Min Beomgyu gave some thoughts to then shake his head, "I see, I thought that Miss Seoyeon hadn't known what type of witches her parents are. As I have said before, most witches don't know what kind of witches they are; and there are numerous cases where they mistook what kind of witch they are because of the lack of knowledge from their parents."




Seoyeon who found another else hidden under Min Beomgyu's question than asked, "Do you think I was a white witch?"




"No, from what I can tell you are not. Dark witches' potions use the help of a dark magic spell. If you are a white witch, the potion made by the dark witches should give you some side effect. For example when a white witch used a dark witch's potion, the effect would work, but the flask that held the potion itself should be harmful to your skin. That is why I am using a glove today," the white witch was thorough with his explanation that made Seoyeon to understand the essence of witches easier. "Did you feel pain when touching it?"




"I didn't," replied Seoyeon.




"I was also surprised to see that you could touch the potion earlier unaffected and assessed that you are a dark witchess until your story from earlier," Min Beomgyu hummed, his brows furrowed to the case he had never seen before but the man was still with a smile. He was happy to learn more knowledge as it was one of reason why he had sided with the Associates.




"Is there any other type of witches than white and dark?" questioned Jung Hwa and at this point, the white witch's eyes that were fixed on his book turn up at Jung Hwa before he gave a wide smile and an excited nod. 




"No one believed me when I said this; but I found something odd while searching about the dark witches' origin. There is one of my friends whose parents had been white witches since the past, however, as time passes, they thought they were shamans. I learned him being a white witch, after some experiments and when I visited his family's house, he showed me this," while Min Beomgyu talked, he pulled out a large scroll of a size of an arm that had been curled.




Seoyeon pushed her back from the chair, to take a better look by leaning forward as Jung Hwa looked at it from afar. There was no smile on his face as his eyes were fixed at the scroll that was dirty and old. 




The parchment seemed to be feeble and was made from a thicker fabric. Signs of its old age could be seen from the uneven tears around the paper and the color of the fabric which seemed to be pure white in the past but now brownish yellow. 




When it was opened, Seoyeon saw that the language was not Korean but the witches' language that she could tell despite never remembering to ever learn the language before.




"Color of witches," Seoyeon read what was on the parchment of paper aloud by herself, "Yellow witch, dark witch, white witch, blue witch, and red witch. Each of color describe their powers and traits."




Jung Hwa's eyes had shifted from the parchment after observing how old the parchment could be before he looked at Seoyeon who was fixed to read what was written. He then gave a look at the white witch, to see Min Beomgyu stared at Seoyeon as if he was speechless and cannot believe what he heard of now.




"You can read this?" questioned Min Beomgyu to Seoyeon and her gaze breaks from the parchment to Min Beomgyu.




"I guess I could," she replied. Doesn't witches know their own language as it act like a code? "Can't you read the witches' language, Mr. Min?" she asked because the man seemed to be suffering from shock the moment she had read the writings in ease.




"I do read witches' language as my family all knew the blood flowing in their body but this is not the witch's language that I or any member of my family knows. This is far ancient. I don't know how to say it properly but it was written around three hundred years ago and at the time the language are written differently. I had to decode and decipher the words here on the scroll," but Seoyeon had read it in ease.




"In the past Seoyeon was said to have spoken witches language on her own," Jung Hwa said, cutting Min Beomgyu's line of thought. "Can I take that each witch learns their language on their own according to how their ancestors taught them?"




"Close like so," replied Min Beomgyu. He had to say how amazed he was to Jung Hwa who was fast when it comes to catch and made a conclusion that was often right than wrong. This was perhaps the reason why he could enter the Associates in a breeze. There was also rumors he heard in the past before the young pureblood entered the Associates of how he had been given an offer to work in the Associates for many times only to be rejected.




This turn to the question of why of all time Jung Hwa agreed to take the position when he could have done it before.




"It's the same as a parent teaching language to their children. According to the same scroll here, it is taken that witches lived in different places that could explain their differences in language," continued Min Beomgyu.




Seoyeon read the rest of the scroll, and she gazed up to look at Jung Hwa, "It is said that most colored witches lived in different lands. They have traits, power, and weakness." 




"That's all?" questioned Jung Hwa. The scroll looked wide and large yet what was written inside was less.




"The rest is about their power and weakness," replied Seoyeon. She also think it was odd for a large scroll to have only a few writings but the rest summarized the same extract she had said.




Jung Hwa got up from the chair, and his hand held the side of the table to lean forward and take a better look at the scroll. To his eyes, the writings were like scribbles. From the way it was written, the letters seemed like English alphabet but there was few symbols that he never know. "With this many type of witches, why only dark and white witches, are known and prevail to survive now?" asked Jung Hwa, the same question Seoyeon had.




Min Beomgyu explained, "Because dark and white witches are the main type of witch which is the origin. They can't disappear while the rest could. About Miss Seoyeon's parents, was there anything said or explained about them?"




"Taking the words from the dark witches I killed last night, they are known as famous amongst all dark witches and even praised them as they had killed tons of purebloods," Jung Hwa noticed how uncomfortable Seoyeon appeared when hearing the words of her parents and his hands slipped naturally on her palms. When fitting in, Seoyeon turns to look at him. She knew he encouraged her whose trust was torn with what the dark witches claimed to her. "Their names are Yang Jiae and Yang Sunghoon. Does it ring a bell in your mind, white witch?"




Min Beomgyu brought his hand to his chin, pulling his memory and his intelligent eyes looked at one fixed point before he look at the couple who stood before him and shook his head, "I don't remember hearing the names. All informations regarding dark witchess are classified but not because someone is hiding them but because they work seamlessly, leaving no trace. However, I heard of some rumors in the past which I don't know if it is true or lies."




"What kind of rumors?" questioned Seoyeon. If there was a clue, it was better to dive than to plunge into oblivion where she was kept in the dark about herself and the people around her.




"The hunters, they are said to be keeping some specialized group of people who possess power far stronger than others. This group was said to be hunting for witches for a long time. But no one know if it was the truth," Min Beomgyu tried to recall everything he remembered about the rumors but that was the extent.




"Even if it was a rumor, there is a bubble of chance that hadn't popped yet. We can try searching for that group and ask if they remember anything." Jung Hwa said, with his eyes fixed on her.




Somewhere Seoyeon doubted that Jung Hwa would ask them in a civil manner. A fight might break out and she knows she should be there with him to pacify the situation. There something that told her the Associates and Hunters is not in a good term either. They appeared to be on a speaking term but not where they would exchange information freely out of weariness.
