Like a pierced water balloon, the energy ball burst. A massive beam of pure energy emerged, streaming towards the villains at blinding speed. Before they could even begin to process what was happening, the beam struck, piercing through anything in its way. Everything the beam touched became erased from existence. I swiped my hand. The beam followed, creating a massive gorge and obliterating everyone caught in it. The beam disappeared as soon as it came. The attack was so quick that only after it disappeared, an explosion erupted in the gorge created by the laser, blowing away everyone in the vicinity, save for a lucky few. Many villains had died. I did not care. Reflection came later. Now was time for action.

I have seen many strange things in this world. I have seen people with animalistic features, people that were all but eldritch horrors, people that could create matter out of nothing, and many more crazy things. However, nothing I had ever seen could ever come close to what I saw that day. It was so shocking that I could not help but loudly exclaim my shock before immediately running away. It was a green, translucent four-legged creature with way too many eyes and an aura that sent shivers down my spine.
