Actually, Chapter 14 was posted on here 3 years ago. I just deleted everything and rewrote Chapters 1-11. 12, 13, and 14’s rewrites will be posted this week, and then Chapter 15 will be finished sometime after that. It’s technically a new story at this point.
I do address this in later chapters, but my intention was to have it so Goku was holding back to make his fight against Ares more interesting. But again, it's my fault for not making that clearer, so if you dislike the story, that's perfectly understandable. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.
