The twins, Olivier and Victor, grew up in the Golden Age of Alchemy, only to end it as enemies. After a long and bloody battle, the two are consumed in a strange light, returning to their childhood. It was all a part of Victor’s plans to stop the end of alchemy and to become the greatest alchemist alive. An exception to this plan, however, was his vagabond brother, Olivier, a man who wasn’t supposed to remember his previous life. Olivier’s lifelong hatred of Victor only grew when he killed their mother. So he plots to destroy him, then, to ascend to a realm beyond humanity. The two must use the city they grew up in to gather strength and to surpass the other. To play by the laws that bind them and to garner allies. Except the past isn’t playing out as it should. It has changed without their intervention, and their memories aren’t as correct as they once thought. It doesn’t take long for a true horror to reveal itself to them.

Lukas was born into a world of hostility at a time of peace. The many wars plaguing the world slowly stopped, his country began to reunify after splitting in half, and the otherworldly Dungeons finally started to disappear. He was supposed to live his youth like any other kid. So that’s precisely what he did. He played games, told stories, pulled pranks, and made memories with others. But one game they created - The Devil’s Deal - would haunt them all, its shadow stretching far beyond their innocent imaginations. Twenty years later, the Dungeons are back, and Lukas works for the Association, finding and reporting them. Incident after incident forces him to reconnect with old friends. Eventually, he finds himself involved in that childhood game once more and has to become a villain, betraying all the values he thought he once had. The truth would challenge the very core of his ideals and expose a long string of conspiracies enveloping the world.

Was experimenting with a new writing style when life got in the way causing me to have to drop this story. It's a shame because I liked it but oh well. Maybe I'll actually get started with this at some point. Have you ever wondered how merchants stood deep in unventured caves, woods, and ruins - always awaiting a weary traveler? Enigmatic at the best of times and completely shrouded in mystery at worst. They know more about coin than anyone else, and how to exploit that knowledge. They reside in world of Hel, a paradise for those who enjoy misery for company. In Hel, spirits and monsters run rampant while humans engage in war perpetually, with no central power giving any semblance of control. There, nations can be built and destroyed in a day, and often are. Nathan lived a varied life on Earth between the mob and the military. The only thing he knows is making money through killing. Luckily for him, that's an express ticket to the best of the best at the Merchant's Guild. But maybe there is more to life than just money.

The gods have vanished. The bridges between the worlds were severed. The races were left separated and struggling to survive. Then, they learned to live without their gods... One race in particular excelled far above the rest, the ancients. Then, the gods suddenly returned, weakened on their doorstep. Their previous good relationship was severed, and the gods were captured by the ancients. With this, the ancients created a devious game to conquer unsuspecting worlds, and subjugate them before they have a chance to properly grow. The Hex Trials. Eventually, they commanded the cosmos and all the races in it. They allowed their fellow races to become their brethren as they looked to new horizons. But they awoke the great Auclair, the god of death. A monster who once ate half the universe in rage. A being that the gods had tried so desperately to seal in the depths of the universe.

Life got in the way and I no longer care to even remotely write this story anymore. I would delete it if I could.

To what extend are you willing to sacrifice yourself your body and humanity to gain the strength to change the world?
