The MC takes pride in it, pride in having control of his life so if anything is out of his control he will try to take it under his control or freak out. Now for your point on MC harming people, and not changing anything. Did the MC ever harmed any innocent citizen, he was brutal, yes, but only towards villains. And I explained how the hero's association is breeding villains for their own gain, how can you miss all that to ask a question as stupid as "why is he targeting the hero association" when I made an entire chapter explaining all that. There's always someone better than you, yes I agree but when it's coming from you I can't take it more than a narcissistic claim since you failed to understand so many obvious things in this fic and yet came to rant about it.
