He died. Plain and simple. He had a sad life, one with no control, advantage continuously being taken of him, no one he could call close... indeed a sad and miserable life. He never experienced happiness, maybe excitement and a little joy here and there, but... it's not the same. One day having escaped his so-called "caregivers," he decided he would explore the town. He was scrawny, not very street smart, and had a very high innate talent for fighting, which he never really noticed until tonight. Sal, the name given to our protagonist, never really knew about intimate things in life besides what he read. He knew not of love and a good family. He knew of things like rape, and abuse, things that aren't normal, for example, your family locking you inside of the basement, hitting you whenever they felt like it. At the age of 16, our protagonist was caught during this escape. Being small and scrawny due to malnourishment, his captures utterly and brutally took his innocence, violating his body however they pleased before dumping him on the side of the road, falling into a ditch slowly filling with water. Before he drowned, he cursed everything, especially God, if he even existed in his last moments. He never once did anything bad, he only ever tried to live, not wanting to die as any normal human would. He hated how small his body was, asking over and over again why; why he had to go through such a life. With water filling his lungs, slowly sweeping his body down the ditch into a canal, fire burning through his chest he hears something he longed for almost his entire life. *DING* [System binding.....Complete!] _______________ Hey, guys, so I am going to switch over to this, it can't really count as my second book since my first one got laid off at chapter 5 (facepalm).
