The author's style of narrating is really unique. It almost threw me off at the start. It is unique and refreshing though. The world is very rich and diverse, it doesn't feel rushed or bland. The number of races itself already make things interesting. For the characters, I feel like there are some points that were skipped over in the beginning chapters. This does improve later on when the story develops as well.

This is not your typical novels. If it’s your style go for.. At first I️ was like what in the world? Haha it’s a good read alright; Minus the writing errors. Grammar and sentence structure... This one is different and reminds me of a series I️ saw about the library. All the best author.

A fantasy story in a modern world. It reminded me a little Twilight series, except the character in this novel are interesting, there's a bigger variety of races, and its comedy is top notch. Another thing that must be mentioned is that the mystery element seems deep and thought-provoking. I'm giving this novel five stars, I adore it.

This review is part of a review swap and valid as of chapter 19. The story is written in third person omniscient point ov view and in the present tense. And 'story' is a matter of definition. This one is different, and not for those faint of heart. Don't binge this. Reading this was a little like watching a pileup of Russian clown cars. In many ways it's a trainwreck, but as I read it with a faux Russian accent in my head I crack up with hysterical laughter. It's probably not the author intent, but in small doses this is superbly funny to read. So for the stars. Writing. Should be two stars but is a given four stars. Sounds strange? Well, it is. You see, it's a joy to read in small doses, but the language used is a disaster, which makes so hysterically funny. Updates. 19 chapters. No complaints. Five stars. Story. If by development you mean an organically grown vector of events, then this is three stars. However, if you mean a string of loosely connected scenes, with a vector, then we have four stars. Once again, read in small doses. There's even textual bridges between each chapter to remind you where you are. Character. In this context we have a dungeon-party in the build-up. Works despite rather static archetypes. Four stars. World. As above. The world is created and expanded per scene added. Works. Four stars. Lastly I have to state I enjoyed this one immensely, but as soon as I read more than four chapters in one go then I got overfed, but a couple of hours later I could read a couple of chapters with a wide smile on my lips again. So, for the love of all gods, don't fix this! In it's own, awkward way, this story is absolutely fantastic.
