Synopsis
To be a King, one must set aside one's personal needs for the sake of others. But, when one was loved by the whole kingdom, the people prayed for his soul to find peace, and the gods heard of their wishes. They (the gods) granted the people's prayers and gave him the special gift of reincarnation. However, there was a catch... he will no longer remain in their world, but be reborn in another.
The gods were happy with their decision. The young former king of Lucis, not so much.
Watch as he sets on a new adventure in a world that is both similar yet so different than his own, while doing his utmost to remain as himself, (try to) avoid getting unwanted attention from unsavory individuals, and (attempt to) live his life the way he had always wanted to in his first life.

Author's note: MC came from FF15 universe, post-events, and transferred into an alternate world because of the astrals' intervention. MC is a responsible person. MC has a Neutral-Lawful-Good alignment (...most of the time). This story is mostly styled after the visual novels of the Fate series. The contents are detailed and lengthy. If you are into that type of novel, you are welcome to give this story a try.
As for the update schedule for this story, it's almost always set on Wednesday. If I'm somehow busy on those days, then Thursday. Due to my responsibilities in real life, I can only update once a week. Two chapters of 2k words (1k each), sometimes more if I feel like it.

"The Prince Of Magic" has one of the best writing and best prologue I have read for sometime. Making the MC came from the world of FFXV to Typemoon was brilliant. However even though the writing is good, the world get muddle and convoluted. I had a hard time reading this story and understanding what was going on that the author lost me by the 7th chapter. I am a vivid player of FFXV that made me enjoy reading about the lore and the powers used by the MC. Unfortunately Fate series one's is a hit and miss for me.

Bro! I really salute your writing style. Gonna give this all a perfect rating though I'm still in chapter one. The world background intro is pretty amazing. Continue to keep up the good work. We might not know you will be one of the top writers here if the story line is very good. Anyway, on to chapter two!
Cool story. I am a fan of the FF and Fate series so I will wait to see how it will go. The author gave himself more freedom by using different time-line as such you can expect to see something different from the original plot
The novel's style is more akin to western fantasy than regular xianxia. Readers are embroiled in rich descriptions of the world and its surroundings — instead of a couple of lines that just say "the city is 1 million kilometers long." It's a great read with superb world building and an interesting premise for the MC.
It is absolutely, horrifyingly, exceptionally, cheesingly awesome ! Like really really awesome, the best fate fanfic and one of the overall best fanfics in this website.
For now I'm going to give this rating based on the reviews that are given to this wonderful fanfic. Although I haven't really read it because I don't have time, but from the way the reviews said, it must really be a good fanfic. One quick question though, does this have romance?.....
This... this right here is the type of fanfic I´ve always wanted to read! On top of that, an mc who actually isn´t completely dense and doesn´t have edgy teenage syndrom? No harem tag? What is this glorious piece of fanfic?
This story is really good. Even if there are only several chapters in, it can easily get a reader to relate. It's rich in details, and the world feels... almost real. I'm not the type to leave a review like this, but just for this story, I'm willing leave one. This one is a solid 5/5 for me. I can feel its potential, as the story goes on. It's long overdue. But this is a great story so far. I haven't play FF15, but you provided me a glimpse of that world. I have to commend you on providing lots of details about Nasuverse. I love this franchise. Keep up!
This story has the ability to become a great novel. The world is starting to appear and will become very vibrant I am expecting. I look forward to reading more!
i love ff! this novel has pretty long chapters and vivid descriptions. i'm hoping for more character interactions in the future and maybe familiar game elements? this one goes straight to my reading list. it's enjoyable and it should be a fun ride.

Just read through and I’ll say, there are only 4 chapters but the chapters are very long so there is a good amount of material to read. Also the novel is very descriptive, so you are able immerse yourself into the world. From what I understand this is a Fate Fan-Fic with crossovers into other worlds, so having background knowledge may help, but I don’t think it’s necessary as the author is creating a work that can stand independently.
