Ryo, a hapless 16-year-old, was taken under the wing of a wandering master blacksmith named Bruce after being kicked out by his parents. In a twist of fate, Ryo tragically met his end while gathering materials for Bruce's special project.

Bruce, in a desperate attempt, bound the special item to Ryo's departing soul, unknowingly sending him into his next life as a Suicidant ant, the most useless of ant species.

Now, as an ant, Ryo faces a peculiar challenge: how to escape this predicament? Will he fulfill Bruce's dream of becoming a Grandmaster blacksmith, or will he carve out a new path, one befitting an ant emperor?
