Novel Cancelled I simply cannot write for it anymore on this platform. Sorry, everyone. That said, I'll be doing a complete rewrite on either the entire story or certain chunks of it. Hey there old readers, Things have been busy for me this last year and it's not been easy for any of us. All that said, I've been hard at work rewriting this novel's first chapter and posting it on Royal Road! So come check me out there! Loving the book thus far. Although I haven't read too far into the book, I can still tell the quality of the writing. Hyped to find a novel of such quality among the heaps of copy and paste novels!
This book is hard to read because of how Cypher talks. Nothing about his speeches make him sound like a 12 year old. When he warned Gelda saying "I'll let it slide this time" when he was talking to Galex, how often he curses e.t.c. There's nothing about his experience that should lead to this. He's a 12 year old boy who spent his time as a servant and only left the manor a few times. It just doesn't feel right that he sounds like a 30 year old. Also, no explanation is given about how Galex escaped alive when his whole family was killed in his presence, and not only did he escape, he did with part of what the organization that attacked him was likely searching for.

I'll give it a review first before reading... If this novel can hold my attention I'll review it again... hopefully this is nice, based on the synopsis it's pretty promising...

The Writing Quality has been good till now(chapter 7), only the names of places and characters have been difficult. The Updates have been steady, chapters are very long and I feel like Author-san can shorten them here. Story has been developing nicely even though there are several unnecessary details at random. Characters are still getting fleshed out, will wait and see World Building hasn't been done much but the MC doesn't know about the world a lot either so it can be excused for now. Will update after reading more. Keep up the good work author, and readers do check this novel out.
This is one of the great ones, would definitely recommend. The plot starts slow and may leave you wanting for details, but quickly makes up for it. The breadcrumbs of mysterious lore will keep you sucked in and itching to learn more. The world building is solid and the characters are well-developed. The author explains events and concepts well, without giving too much away. The power system has a proper amount of complexity and balance. The MC of the story kind of falls under the "chosen one" archetype, and is given a bit of plot armour, but it's not horribly unreasonable or extensive. Grammatical/punctuational errors are sparse, and those that can be found don't affect readability. Overall, this novel has great potential. The writing is of good quality, the story is interesting, and the world feels real. 8/10 would definitely recommend.

Really enjoying the story thus far. I always catch myself reading again to find out what happens next. Great story telling that pulls you back in. I recommend the read for those medieval and fairytale lovers!

The character designs are realistic and fleshed out. The MC acts according to his age and does some mistakes, but learns from them. Actions have consequences and some developments happen that are definitely not obvious from the start. The quality of the novel is pretty high. I like it.
