Created as the ultimate weapon, Nicolette is a timid African American woman caught in the middle of a deadly war between humans and non-humans. The humans want her to destroy their natural enemies the vampires and werewolves; while her creator wants to use her to avenge an over 2 millennia-year old slight.
After narrowly escaping the clutches of her “parents”, she begins a new life with no intentions of looking back. However, after 5 years of freedom, her hybrid genes start attacking her human ones forcing her to do the one thing she swore never to do…return to where it all began.
Upon her arrival home, Nicolette finds herself in a desperate fight to keep her life, her freedom, and her humanity all while dealing with the unexpected re-appearance of an old flame.

I don't understand why this story doesn't have many reviews??? You successfuly created an interesting story... The English is great (I supose your mother tongue) so is nice to read it. The storyline is captivating and characters are expressive. There are also lovely descriptions. Well done!

I can't believe this book does not have enough reviews when it should ranking like all those other novels. Man... what a start. I could only read the first few chapters yet I'm hooked on this story. the world background and the characterization is simply amazing. I must say that author's writing style incredible. It is so well written. I'm going to read all the chapters once I have time because honestly, I can't get enough of it. I'm looking forward to how it will progress in the future. This book was a splendid read with an intriguing backstory for our mc. Truth be told, this is almost well polished for me except for some misspellings and run-on sentences being the main problem. All in all, I wish more people could read this and comment more ! Keep up the good work, Author !
