Synopsis
Willingly dying at the hands of his only teacher to repay all his debt, Jason simultaneously plans his reincarnation and finds himself in the body of an 'evil' cultivator named Ja Sun wanted by one of the three strongest power of the Douluo Continent— Spirit Hall.
But hope isn't lost. His trait from his previous life never left his side and now he will make missions in the Douluo Continent and live another life, this time, a life not owed to anybody.

Of course, I do not own the Douluo Dalu universe. Since I am writing about the timeline never covered in the major timeline to completion, many things may be a part of the fanfiction but not mentioned in canon.

Ps: After seeing a few complaints, I realized to add two warnings. The mc is definitely a trained fighter and not innocent since he can kill but he doesn't go around killing that much even when others love to do it. I know, it's strange since it's a cn novel but honestly we have enough men who love to cut roots.
And, the character of the individuals from main novel will be slightly AU. For instance, Xiao Wu would only hug and keep chirping Ge, Ge. (Spoilers) The fem mc and others, well, I tried to put more personality, make their tongues sharper but it turned out AU. I accept that and realized that it needed to be mentioned, too.

Alright, as an author, I didn't write the first review and waited. This is the tenth review and will get me my official rating. I rate it a five star because I selfishly want the highest rating however I encourage honest reviews even if they can be sometimes discouraging. That's it, I hope all of you enjoy the fanfic.
I have read until chapter 86 and I'm just a normal reader so this is just my view : first thing first I like the interaction between Ja Sun(MC) and Other characters be it his friend(to be ) or teacher and enemies, secondly the story also flow smoothly with additional jokes that make me laugh for a minute or two, the pace of the story is quite good for me not too fast not too slow, the author keep answering my questions if there's something that I forgot from Douluo Dalu's novels so I don't have to reread Douluo Dalu to know some details. the side characters development is quite splendid, ah.. as a warning this is an AU so their personalities is not quite the same, but I think this is ok, since this story starts a decade before Canon, and we don't know how the original characters(like people from spirit hall, or Tang clan, etc) from Soul Land 1 behave a decade before Canon, so for me I like it, it gives more personality and characters development since MC enter their live. as for something that quite a put off happen the earliest to middle chapters is about MC that didn't kill his enemies, or refrain from killing his enemies if there's no immediate benefit from his Traits or something else, MC is not someone that keep killing his enemies like usual Chinese MC to cut the root, but you could read Author's Notes in synopsis about that as it concerning MC's background from previous live and his dislike that he said in earliest chapter, there will be a little flash back that will explaining about that later so just read until 80 chapter I promise that you will get Hooked.
MC IS A HUGE SIMP (GIRL LITERALLY KILLED HIM AND HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT) DO NOT READ Started out interesting but it's quickly revealed that none of what we're told about the mc is true in his first big fight. He's not an intelligent strong revolutionary, capable of overthrowing a world government. He's an idiot, a lucky idiot (and I must assume that's how he won in his first life). Nothing about his "victory" is deserved, he went up against a group he knew he couldn't beat because the "rewards were so tempting" and freaking died, killed by a female enemy only to be brought back by plot armor and then immediately start simping for her. Pretty disappointing to have an otherwise interesting story terminate in terrible writing, that immediately ruined any chance this story had of being good.
I really tried to like this fanfic but i cant. The MC here is reckless fool that always depend on luck(plot armor) to survive. I cant even sympathize with him cause of his personality. He is pretty weak and stupid but also arrogant.

The main character doesn’t realize that in the world he is in, killing your enimes by thw root will avoid future problems and that made mw feel that the mc is Naive and Ignorant toward the real world!
One of the worst kind of MC according to me. He let's go of everyone he meets when they have killing intent toward him Even then it was ok BUT WHY IS HE LETTING GO OF EVERY ONE OF PEOPLE HE MAKES ENEMIES OF!? AND WHAT IS HIS SI MP LIKE BEHAVIOUR!? AND HE'S TOO DUMB! I felt so much rage building up in me when I read it. In starting I let it go thinking that he will atleast kill people if necessary. BUT NO! HE JUST LET'S THEM GO AWAY LIKE NOTHING EVEN IF THEY ONCE KILLED HIM!
A little different Soul Land fic ..Just 14 chapters released till now and author is doing great ... If you talk about the timeline it should be before tang san was reincarnated .. There is no system in his fic but mc has another ability which works like a system & has a incredible potential
Nice dd fanfic dude hope this one keeps on giving its pretty cool one and totally different from many others out there, That trait thing is a "system" but a the same time is not so new direction of things that spice things up, overall i thing its gonna go far if you keep at it author
the dialogue between ah yin and mc is weird its kind like a chinese manhwa where a typical mc male enemies just by talking,it could happen but he could have just been quiet no enemy needed for no reason, mc ain't the smartass in my opinion others may like it but iam dropping keep grinding author 👍
Good novel. I enjoy reading it. Dunno what the mc goal is but since the story is still early I will wait. I like his martial soul/traits and skills. I just hope that the MC will walk a different path in other fanfics. Sorry for my bad English..
A great Douluo dalu fic from the writer of Goddess Collecter (even though it doesn't show up in srch or author's original works . webnovel prblm I guess) At first I expected to see early smut scenes but this novel's doing pretty great even without them .. the mc's trait is great idea &it's also the first time in any fic I have seen using sprit soul system (which in my view makes this work pretty unique) the interactions between mc and ah yin is pretty realistic as they both have their own goals and is not forced .. In the end after reading so many Doulou dalu fan-fics with super op systems helping the mc to become op ( from which I am bored )this is a must read in my opinion
Really good so far and something I haven't seen a lot of with the author being very open with replies to chapter comments it's fun to delve into details or scout out mistakes which I haven't found.
The idea of trait is impressive and the mc's martial soul are interesting..the author is done great job by introducing many techniques not just focusing on soul path alone
It’s a great fanfiction I really like that the back ground before his transmigration is explained really wel. The grammar is good the release is good, overall the story is good
It's good better than others but starts to dip off for me halfway into the novel Ah yin and MC's dialogue feels weird to me Author has trouble deciding the direction of the story and how to keep the mc balanced. An example would be the war games arc I'm sure author put it there because he didn't want the trait to get too busted and was running out ideas.

I don't understand why there are people who rate this work badly, I think this is one of the best webnovels on the site, I like all the characters of the main cast, their interactions are interesting, their ties grow stronger every moment. I'm not a big fan of the combat continent novels, but this novel made me want to be, the world is very organic and its characters feel alive, the author knows what he's doing so I don't understand how there are people who make reviews without sense. I've read too many mediocre webnovels to know that this is far from them. Great fanfic.
So, usually, I don't write a review but I got too annoyed with the novel, so I just want to warn the new readers about some staff. First of all, the novel is good, and MC acts with reasoning but it gets destroyed by his simping to a girl. most of the novel focuses on her Empress attitude and MC trying to get her. They have no love for each other. After failing many times and move on like a man, he still chooses to simp the Empress, hoping one day, she will give him a hand. So, if you like slow romance (maybe?) and have zero problem MC act like a beta, this is for you.

It's a great book... The first bits was a little confusing without the context provided but it was clarified later bit by bit. The execution of providing the context of the past of the MC is magnificent. It was released bit by bit and is making more and more sense as you know a piece. It doesn't overwhelm the reader with information that they will forget and make it an enjoyable read. The main character has a great personality. He has hidden pasts that is mentioned bit by bit and makes him look complicated but also simple. He is a deep and complete character. Even without context to the original Book, it would be enjoyable to read. The humor of this story is well timed and actually funny. It will most likely a hit more that a miss. So it's pretty funny. I also love that the mc's world is different from our world and he doesn't know anything about Soul Land so their interactions are more life like and natural. To be honest, I can't find a fault on this book.
