This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worst case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.

Great theme poor execution. MC for unknown reasons is able to choose his starting race, so he chooses the strongest race of them all: Abyssal Dragon. Sounds good? It could've been, but it isn't. Why do I say this? Half of every single chapter is filled with the random conversation of the chat. Since you know, Chinese 'players' even after being forcefully put into a life-or-death game spend 90% of their time 'typing' on the chat. The author does this to contrast the suffering of majority of people to the superiority of the protagonist (who mind you didn't exactly earn his strength). It ends up just becoming rubbish filler. Onto another matter at hand. This novel lacks detail. It lacks so much detail that the author couldn't even be bothered to describe how the protagonist looks after he was gifted his bloodline.

I got bored of this book like 5 chapters in. The only thing he has in advantage is the ability to pick a better starting race than the others. There hasn’t been any mention of an advantage otherworldly as he just gathers more people around him. Sure, he may defeat people here and there, but His tactics in fighting are terrible. In the first fight, he had the aerial advantage with his wings against a player who was on the ground. MC decided to disreagrd his advantage and fight his opponents normally.

oof this is bad. I can't even tell if it's bad writing or bad "translation " since all of these novels are being localized. The story often gets butchered as a result.

dommage que l'auteur ai arrêté aux chapitre 218 et en continue pas, j'ai trouver un autre livre pareille avec plus de chapitre mais juste dommage qu'il ai copier de celui-ci mais le contexte mondial est super j'ai adorer et le développement de l'histoire est bien ( autre livre = Era of Castles: Starting with 99 Dragon Eggs ou aussi Citadel for All: The Only Unit Angel at the Start of the Game )

Ini plagiat dari introduction nya saja hanya nama MC dan demon low rank yg diubah, event the author is different!! not worth it!!! Ps : i don't know who is real but this translate novel is so bad, and btw the other novel is already finished so i think this novel is the plagiat
