Synopsis
(A/N: The story was inspired by "Yellowness" on fanfiction.net by MidasMan. While the first 6 chapters are pretty much copy/paste and not something I'm not proud of, it does get better and the plot begins to change once you get past it. With that in mind, I hope you enjoy the fanfic!)

To be sent into a fictional world. A dream everyone want's to happen to them. Sadly for Ajax Dalton, a U.S soldier that died during the Russo-Ukrainian war faced a different fate.
After getting shot, Ajax was not sent as an all-powerful being or master of a guild of fanatical servants, but warped and twisted into an NPC of Nazarick.
Doomed to be sent to the New World when YGGDRASIL shuts down, can this former human maintain his humanity in an inhuman lair? Or, will it even be worth it in the end?

I went into this thinking it to be a carbon copy of yellowness and i wont lie it was for the beginning but it quickly branched off and avoided some of the things i disliked about yellowness. I was a bit worried about the MC ending up as a tag along side character but that has been avoided which is great aside from that the writing quality is great, stability is good and the characters are well described. Its overlord so its not hard to get a 5 for world background, just up to research which seems good in this.
I really wasn't expecting this to be much of a read, just a time killer, but I'm glad I was wrong. Instead of just making a male citrinitas, you took a turn from yellowness and truly made your own story. As far as citrinitas is concerned, I'm not a big fan of characters that always make women swoon, but I can look past that because the Mc doesn't seem to care about most of the women that are after him. Seeing the moments between citrinitas and demiurge never fail to make me laugh, as well as aiz trying to act cool in front pf citrinitas. Overall, this story is a good read, and I can't wait to read more.

That only thing I hope for this fanfic. It's that the mc won't become a subordinate of Ainz. Other than that, I recommend reading this fanfic.
Bro its been soo long since i felt such addiction to a story. This Fic is soo well written and good. The background on the mc is also nice and i love it. Not to mention the mc’s appearance is fire. I need more chapters!!!!! If you have a patreon where there are early chapters give it to me and take my money!
Very enjoyable read overall. The writing quality is very good with little to no grammar errors, the updates are decent, and the story development so far has been well-paced with the length of the chapters. And I personally enjoy the character design so far. Characters feel like their original counterparts in the show, albeit with slight alterations to make the authors' OC fit in nicely. And finally the world background... To me, I thought it was done in a way that wasn't an info dump, but also wasn't too boring or exciting that would distract the readers from the rest of the story. Overall this novel to me got 4.6; it's a great read, the characters are interesting, and it's not overly grimdark with Nazarick and the guardians. They feel more "human" in a way, and not just monsters who go around hating everything in existence, like some others novels represent them as. I honestly haven't figured out how to read reviews yet... Even though I've already posted a few. So whoever finds this, I would definitely tell you to "give this novel a try, at least to chapter 10".

The story is good, and it could have….no, it SHOULD have been great. The author however, continuously destroys his story for 13/18 chapters (thats as far as ive read) by making the MC A terrified, whiny, crying, shaking in his boots, overly cautious, complaining, garbage can of a human being I want to gouge my eyes out for half of each chapter before being able to get back into the story, and then the cycle repeats with the next chapter. The author stated he was a freshman in highschool so, i suppose i shouldnt be suprised. The story is still worth reading, just be aware that youll be causing yourself pain whilst doing so. BUT as they say! No pain, no gain!
Until chapter 9 it is one of those stories where mc does nothing that matters. He went with Ainz into Carne and litteraly did everything Ainz did on original story. Even gesticulation. Mc also said that he does not want to change cannon so there is no reason to read. I am giving 3 stars only because idea, character looks and backstory, and gramar are good.

If you search for a story with overlord this is probably the best you can find everywhere it is really entertaning to read the MC is not too basic, he is not 'unique' but a MC that you can quickly grow fond of. The story itself till now is of course not that amazing, since everyone knows the start but you quickly want to know what the MC(Name is just to long and difficult to write) will do in the future, there are also new charakters like the maid or esdeath from agk(Well she already exist but not in this world) with the MC being a genius alchemist the YGDRASSIL adventure of Ainz ol gown is also different, not by much only small part, nonetheless an amazing read and I always wait for new chapters, give it a go. Till now 4.4/5 future 4.7-5/5
One of my favorite Overlord FF, I stopped reading it a few months back but came back and finished it just now. So I decided to leave a review- The writing quality is very good in this novel, and what I love the most are the interactions between the MC and the other characters. The upload schedule is a little wack, but I don't mind it as I prefer the author take their time and not write worse than usual. The only real downside to this novel is the author's -ahem- HORRIBLE "fashion style" (If you can even call it that), otherwise it's a surprisingly light read (most of the time).
I have high hopes for this story. Although my review is 4.8 it's quite fair because it takes a while to update but I like the Writing Quality very much I have an extention to read the text for me but I also read it and the grammar it's also all correct with the spellings and from what I can see the Stability of Updates is also good so in the time to come I will look forward to it it's just that I want to see if you will not drop this story and actually finish this amazing story so I gave it 4 and the Story Development is also good and not doing anything dumb for me the design is similar to a lot of stories that I like no offense a very good main character I just hope he won't be stupid to just let some enemies go without gaining something in return or just kill all enimies it may sound bad but it can also backfire in the long run so for my the Character Design is good now the World Background it's one of the best interms of stories I've read so World Background is also amazing. Overall a great story I just hope the author won't drop this story and although I'm not rich I have multiple accounts for daily power stones I will try my best to support you in terms of Power Status.
I absolutely love this story so far! The writing Qulaity is peak and the Story as well. Please dont drop this, I've seen so many Overlord fanfics where the author suddenly decided that it wasn't worth his time anymore. If you keep writing chapters then you will get all the stones I get. I have been on this site for a long time and I have read large amount of books but this is easily within top five of my favorite books ive ever come across. Its engaging, interesting and most importantly its capturing. All in all a great book.
Waiting to see how this goes. So far, very engaging. Hopefully the MC will either confront Ainz, and support him from the dark and be his emotional support and friend. Or outright make curve his own path.
Love the novel so far! This is the first Overlord fanfic that I’ve read with an NPC as the protagonist! I love the backstory set up for it! I hope to read more on the backstory created by Tabula for the protagonist! Can’t wait for more chapters!!!!! 😁 Just hope this won’t become another harem story, though the thing with Shalltear wanting him to become part of her harem is funny though!

3.0 stars, 5 stars in writing quality and stability of updates but it doesn't deserve anything above a 1 star in story development or character design. 3 stars in world background because the author didn't do a bad job at that. It's not about the character being a wimp, I'm sure the author has some juicy character development in mind for later and I'm willing to wait for that, but just the sheer irrationality of his fears and decisions and how they're still made to look logical.
I absolutely LOVE this fan-fic and I wish for more authors to develop this concept. I love the overlord series ( I’m currently watching season 4 and I’m loving it) and seeing more fan-fic about this series fills me with so much happiness and seeing the author making the MC fitting so well within Nazarick makes me love this so much more. I just wish for the MC to interact with the floor guardians besides Shalltear and Esdeath and with Ainz. (Esdeath best girl BTW)

honest to God 5 stars I can't complain about a single chapter here. normally I don't comment on books I find on here, but this is something else everything is thought out perfectly. normally I would question your mentality for thinking up such scenes but, it all fits to well and done to well for me to even care

A shameless 4 Star review for myself because why not. The reason why I didn't give myself 5 Stars is that let's get real here. My fanfic isn't perfect. There are bound to be plot holes in my character and story because this is my first attempt at a proper piece of writing. Though as of writing, there are only 7 chapters, I hope you can provide me proper and helpful feedback about anything. I can only improve my writing if I have the proper advice. (Please don't be too harsh I'm only a freshman in High School) The story is inspired by MidasMan, the author of 'Yellowness' on fanfiction.net. I got permission to borrow some elements of the story but that's it. The story will change completely in a few chapters :)
