Synopsis
This was an age of martial arts where Spiritual Energy had started to appear on Earth. When Qin Feng returned home after failing the Martial Artist Exam, he was prepared to live the life of a normal farmer where he would find himself a wife and have children.
However, things went in a weird direction when he got home. He realized that his house had been mutated and only he could utilize its effect.
He could fish anything out of the pond in his garden.

MC is just completely oblivious. Story is filled with stuff like "little did the MC know, his body was being purified" and "the MC got another martial arts manual, but he doesn't know how to use them". Is some basic knowledge about the setting too much to ask for from a MC?

I have read the current available chapters (20) and so far I am enjoying the read. It’s the standard weak to strong trope with a system to aid his development. The system is actually sentient and sounds rather interesting. So far he has a goal, the usual one to be better than everyone else and be recognised, no apparent love interest, though the girl he saved may become one but that is purely speculation at this stage. The idea of the house being his avenue to success is something I haven’t read before but it does appeal, especially when he mentions there is over 40 rooms inside so there is a lot of room to grow in this story. Anyways, it is early days and I would recommend this to readers to support and follow.
It's a mess. It's a hodgepodge of ideas from different stories connected through the idea of a house mutating. Or a system connected to a house. By chapter 20 something, it's a system with personality novel and the house is sidelined as a resource. This story doesn't know what it wants to be. At least the basic writing is decent - no bad grammar, half-finished sentences or vocabulary used oddly. It could have been a good story even with the elements from different novels (shadow hack, fishing the myriad heavens, my backyard is a dump..) if the unique aspect, the house, was developed properly. And by that I mean in a consistent way, with house as the focus, and using elements from those stories that fit with the golden finger, that is, the house. But alas, earwax, ahem, no, I mean it's not to be.
It is progressively getting worse. it had a really strong start then it had every wrong move and cliche you can think of nothing makes sense its all just getting a pillow from the sky when your tired its bad.
Mediocre at best, seems like a newbie writer Short chapters with little or useless information which makes them boring, chapters 26-35 can be shortened and edited to 1 or 2 chapters. Cheat could be explained better and the whole cultivation system is still unclear, until now talents were only people from influencial families that received lots of resources. MC seems gutsy or ignorant, being so weak, but acting all mighty with fmc that is a few major realms higher. Usual face slapping, but done in a poor manner, starting from mc being uderstimated and badmouthed then he does something amazing and everyone is shocked to the core, but still continue to look down on him and hope that he will fail...
Is this novel in hiatus? This was picked right? Well if i do remember myself. Why it isn't updating anymore? 😢😢😢 I was really looking forward to it though its kinda mixed up

seems interesting. it's sort of like a check-in novel but with more interaction with the world in the early stages. not sure why they ended the preview at 38 chapters instead of 40 though.
The synopsis is interesting, I like the whole idea of mundane items with OP abilities, so I hope this gets picked. Btw, does anyone know of similiar novels with that concept?
Decently written though not without it's flaws. The story is never the less interesting and the story feels rather novel for as much as I've read. (25 chapters) I would recommend this as a book worth taking a look at to see if it may fit your tastes. I have added it to my own library and will read it as I am able.
Good for weekly trial reads, so hope it gets picked but I'm sure later in the story it will get worse and worse till I give it up. .
Alternate Beast times blah blah face slapping always ends up turning stupid…. But I like the cool house so I’ll give it a chance let’s hope it gets better.
