Synopsis
Shackled by her father's greed, young Annabelle Calvin feels dejected by the world. Yet, her smile remains constant; all of her brighter than the sun. She, however, was misfortunate enough to cross paths with the underworld's wrath. Facing the heartless mafia monsters from the Regis Family, she finds herself stuck in the continuous blood war. From being forced to become a medium between multiple families of the underworld and tormented to no end, Annabelle had come to suffer more than she lived in ease. Only when she was ready to bury it all in, one enigmatic man's appearance flooded her mind with all the memories she'd ever want to forget, making her feel all the emotions she had not wanted to bear anymore.
Hands covered in blood of both the innocent and immorals, the Mafia Lord, Albert Hemsworth was known as the most ruthless of his times. Be it a serious or a simple situation, his only choice was attacking head first, burying all formalities into the ground. Dare one be disloyal and dare one lie to him, because if they did, death was the only destination they were to reach from such actions. While he despised betrayals, as long as he gained the power he needed to annihilate his enemies, he would cross all lengths within the boundary of his principles to do so. He was the Lord and so the rules he set were bound to be followed. If not, simply death wasn't enough for the seditious. Laying low while conspiring for his final revenge was his common way of living. However, life doesn't always let one have it their way. Without realising that what he was seeking for was so close to him, Albert found himself stuck in a never ending bloodbath.
However, matters do not just stay this simple. The Regis Family inspite of facing the harsh fall still had an heir to their throne. The young gentleman charms making it hard to look away. The way his words could lure even the smartest of people was a sight to watch. Choosing to walk the same path like that of his father, the young master of the Regis Family sets out to avenge the gruesome death of his father. Little did he know that the mission he was determined to accomplish was an invitation to the wrath of the demons known as the Demonic Cosa Nostra.
Betryal was regarded as an act of impurity and hence the punishment was severe. The Demonic Cosa Nostra was in an havoc when the Mafia King took matters into his own hands. His hate for the Regis Family was never burned down and to think that his own men had started forming allies with the nemesis, that Albert was irate would be an understatement.

I'll give all 5 stars as a support and your grammar was good though my advice was: cut some of your sentences since it's too long if you use third-person view past tense stick with it don't change it to first-person view past tense or something that's it thank you
Oh Nice. So here's the story. There's girl name annabelle. and lots other stuff end with her now with **** i won't spoil it. & it wasn't clear yet. seems she was really important. But the background & all that stuff is really intresting. like the hemsworth, regis & serpent family. uh. is that spoiler?. writing quality is improved along the way of the chapter. nice job author. [img=recommend] anyway. this is recomended. & very good choice for those liking romance, added with spice of mystery. plus the mafia lord. cip cip cip.
That father needs to be thrown into the dungeon. How on Earth can a father be so heart less and wicked to his own biological daughter?. The girl deserves better and I felt really sad for the girl. Her mother is dead and her father is such a jerk. what could be much more worse than that?_ The book is great and it made me feel that the girl needs to report to the police. Her father is a violence type of person. There are others going through such and the author was able to point out that fact. So that's u great. 😍😍😍😍. I respect that fact. This book is anything I could ever hope for. it's Unique

The strong stance of a young girl who has been abused, despite everything, is described very well. The male protagonist is a psychopath, but in a good way. (I don't know how someone can be a good psychopath, but the author really made me think about it :D) In general, the narration is very good. The subject is a bit of a cliché, but the important thing is how the author presents it. I look forward to future updates.
it has an interesting premise and is an interesting read if you're a fan of mafia stories the narration is on point and the use of point of view is clear.

The story overall is good and very interesting. Certainly there are mistakes here and there which I've already pointed out in the comments but rest of it is really good! Author has made sure not to only describe the scene of events properly but the Character's way of thinking very elaborately as well. I liked this book, hope you'll do even better in future author ^^
I simply wanted to suggest that you all give this book a shot because I think it's really good. It's just that some of the events left me a little confused, and the grammar and word choice were only slightly lacking, but I'm sure that won't bother you and that you'll still be able to enjoy the story. The plot is interesting, the characters are also unique, and their interactions keep you entertained while reading.
Good chapters and love the story and pov thing is umm...good Nd not making a mess like I might mess it....description and narration is good as well.
This is definitely a great novel and even though its only in its innitial stages, the Author did a good job narrating their world. Keep it up.
the story is quite good with an interesting. and moreover, there's an alpha! the writing quality is good with a good pacing. the only flaw is the bulking. there's a lot of bulking of sentences so try to cut them off. other than that and some minor mistakes, the book is worth a read.
What a disgusting father, he makes me want to puke on his face. And Albert...right? I'm not a fan of how he got her. Poor Annabella. Even though she was passing through, she could still put smiles on people's faces.

This makes me want to keep turning the pages is definitely a guilty pleasure to read. The only criticisms I have is, on occasion you should look over your grammar, lots of mistakes, and also maybe re read some of the character descriptions because some of them don't have a full picture. Otherwise, this has a lot of potential to be huge hit on here.
The story is overall good and the build up is nice. Maybe try building into the next chapter because it could leave people confused. Other than that you have some typos but your story is good.
The characters introduced so far are developed well, and each has a distinct personality. That said, the POV switches aren't defined, and that can make it difficult to know who is speaking. It's not that big of deal, though, because context clues and dialogue let you know pretty quickly! I'm curious to see how the plot unfolds.
This novel is in its infancy and has the potential to grow into an amazing story. We have the dashing, powerful alpha who will stop at nothing to possess his mate. Stories like this are meant to be read and enjoyed, so give it a chance.
