In Naruto As An Uzumaki

There’s nothing to say about the writing quality. Its a fan fic so as long as it’s decent English it’s a 5 star in my book. The writing stability is pretty good but there’s only 13 chapters at the time of writing this at the moment so I’ll just give it another 5 stars. The story development isn’t very great in my opinion. My issue is how cheesy and unrealistic everything hes done as a kid so far has been. Hes coincidentally became best friends with kushina the moment he gets to go outside. He reads every book on the library and somehow is able to sneak into the shinobi only section section of the library as if no one keeps an eye on it or theres no seals in place to prevent techniqes from leaking out. He has a unrealistic view of training. And the way it’s described to readers is really lazy. It’s always time skip then “I’ve gotten way better at everything. I’ve learned waterfall style. Its really strong. I’ve also gotten really good at using my chakra natures. I can almost cut the waterfall like naruto now.” And that’s how any training is described. He also doesn’t mention how the heck a kid can leave the village and everyone acts like it’s completely normal. Mom doesn’t know even tho she’s supposedly super over protective. So I give story 3 stars. Character development is also a 3 star for me. Going back to my previous statement, no one talks about how a kid just struts out of the village, mom doesn’t really seem over protective since she doesn’t know he sneaks out every night since he was 5, kushina seems to only think about mc for some reason even tho her whole village was wiped out, and the mc doesn’t really seem like a human. He just reads, trains, seems to like Roman and beat up some kids for some more training. The most human part of the story was when his mom died but then it’s was ruined when he just killed every enemy ninja in seconds. The world background is ok. Its gets just about everything right but my issue with it is that it doesn’t explore out of what we already know. For example, why is it that no uzumaki came to the leaf village in cannon? Maybe because if they did it would start a war? Why did they attack 6 months early? Was it because you snuck out of the village? How did the leaf not know what was happening? Etc. So for world background I’ll give it a 4. Summary: it’s not a bad fanfic and its worth a try. Not the best nor is it very uniqe but the author seems pretty chill and story is better than 80% other naruto fanfics. You’ll also like it a lot if you like ridiculously op mcs.
