Synopsis
Nora is shattered a month before her wedding when she uncovers her fiancé's deceitful affair. As she manages this betrayal, she discovers a deep ploy to hinder her from claiming her rightful inheritance. Devastated but determined, Nora takes a daring step to regain control of her life. Enter Demetri 'The Demon' to those who know him, a formidable man barely known to her, who offers her protection and support in return for a contract marriage to satisfy him. In a twist of fate, Nora marries Demetri to claim her inheritance and fight those who plotted against her. But as she battles her own family and Demetri's many rivals, will she be able to keep from falling for the man known to crush people beneath his booted heel.

She had forgotten that the man was intimidating and directly challenged him.
Rather than speaking, Demetri rose from his seat and approached her deliberately. Although it was a mere few steps, time seemed to stretch for Nora. When he was almost within touching distance, his hand gently landed on her knee, moving it sideways. His touch moved with a hint of a caress, and he stepped between her open legs. Nora sat there in frozen silence, her eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights.
Catching her chin between his fingers, he tilted her face upwards and spoke unhurriedly," You are my wife."
She nodded her head slowly in affirmation while his thumb slowly traced her lip. "I have given you time to gather your emotions."
Another nod. Nora's nervousness made her lick her lips, acutely aware of his intense gaze fixed upon them.
"Your reason for the marriage was to secure your inheritance and get away from under your mother's thumb."
"Yes..." Nora whispered in confusion. Her confusion was not about his statement but about the bewildering sensations coursing through her. What was happening with her?
"It's time for you to fulfil your end of the contract, yes?" He continued.
"Yes," Nora whispered breathlessly. Why was she breathless? Had the oxygen level in the house dropped? Was the air suddenly thinning?
Abruptly, his hand left her face, and she watched as he drew closer. It was then that Nora comprehended what was unfolding. All those tantalizing, heart-pounding kisses she had read about in novels were about to possibly become her reality.
But the anticipated kiss didn't happen. Instead, he paused near her and commanded, "Kiss me."

I started this book and was instantly captivated by the storyline and the characters… I literally binge read this to the current chapter. Wow, so many plot twists and I love the main characters and those awesome and playful brothers! Thanks author for a fun read so far! ❤️

I'm here to give my review 😁😁😁Looking for a book that can keep you scrolling and help you stay up late at night, then this is your stop💖💖💖I came across this book because I was looking for a book to use as a guide for my own book but now, I've stopped seeing it as a guide and started crushing on Dimitri instead(hope Nora doesn't see this😅).I didn't know this was also the author of The Typhoon wife, my all time best book. .. Anyway, 25 stars are def not enough for me to rate this book. It isn't even enough for me to rate Dimitri 🥰If Dimitri continues giving me attention, I'll be here by chapter 100 to update my review hehe😅

I absolutely love this book! It has kept me glued! I love the brothers and their love they have for each other! I'm so glad I decided to take a look at this book...it's hard to put down!
This was a recommended book from Chereads (like webnovel), and I got addicted. I love the sweet arranged marriage while everyone around them is opposed to them being married. And for once, I actually like the female lead: she is likable and semi-relatable person with the ability to grow and better herself.
Yet another amazing story from har_k. From the chapters I've read till now, I can assure you that this book will keep you hooked to it. I love the way the characters have been portrayed. The subtle chemistry between Demon and Nora is so interesting, I'm waiting to read how they will break the ice between them and enter each other's heart without knowing.
I like how this book keeps me captivated and smile to myself. I'm gonna read it until the end. And I LOVE the ML's character♡, but the female lead is my favorite.

I am simply in love with this book. The characters are all so beautifully depicted, the story is too captivating and there are no stupid grammar and translation mistakes. It is written so well that I find it difficult to stop reading… ( though I have to due to lack of coins and fps😝)

This review is based on the available first five chapters. Great story! Started with a bang and then cut to the backgrounds. Even at chapter 5 we are still waiting to see what Nora has planned for that evil couple that hurt her. And we also met our ML even though it was just for a bit. I’m looking forward to following your characters and their love story, Author! Good luck!!
