Synopsis
If you want an unrealistic main character, then just read another story. My OC makes bad decisions and learns from them.
Takes place during the Dance of Dragons. My OC, Haemon won't be an insane behemoth who's good at everything he does. He will be better than most obviously but he will definitely have his set backs. He's the Bastard son of Viserys conceived before he married Aemma.
The only credit that I will take is Haemon. he is mine. Nothing else. Not even the picture of him is mine.
Also please check out "My Life As An Si In King. Viserys Court" by IEatBabies254. It gets updated frequently and is a major influence on me starting this story.

Everything is good except for the story development and character design. When I read chapter 1 and the first paragraph, I finally realized why I find this fic so jarring. The MC is a feminist. He does not want authority and only wants a simple life with his family, but for his sister, the future Queen, he's willing to abandon his family, turn his eyes on his sister's mistakes, sell his daughter to the brother of the one who took her eye, all the while complaining why he didn't want any of it. Not a single character development throughout the story. He still remains someone's loyal dog, despite all his achievements, position, and his experiences. Despite everything being changed, when you read it again, nothing was actually changed. You just replaced Daemon with your MC to simp for Rhaenirya. (At least Daemon was badàss. Your MC is just a glorified masochistic dog.) I would have sympathized but I just couldn't. I think you're going down the Jon Snow route but all his complaining and his actions not matching is painful to read. I don't know what future development you would make, but this is as far as I go. Nevertheless, your story was entertaining but I find it not to my taste.

I was initially excited for this but the mc decisions became progressively worse with time and things are explained less and less. Ultimately this story became unreadable for me which is why I give it three stars. You could improve this by fleshing the characters out more and giving the mc a little bit more backbone.

the mc is an oc, possible to exist, everything around it is possible killing daemon off, to simply replace him with the oc feels lazy there, but then again daemon is a wild card the new name of the dragon feels forgettable , and its hard to spell, since the name is soo forgettable the oc at least feal organic as he is a bad father like his lord father before him the story developemen is bad mostly because of the fact he seems to favor rhaenrya soo much, when i read the story he barely has any connection towards them, even if he has letters with rhaenrya he should be closer to his wife(laena)

The main character just got more unlikeable the more I read. You changed things and yet it seems it results into nothing being changed at the same time. Most of the story feels skipped over and summarized. I feel like you could have gave a better storyline if you had explained many things, but again, most of it was just glossed over. Timeskips upon timeskips. One moment MC is speaking about his marriage and the next Laena is giving birth to their third child. And like I said before, the main character just became extremely unlikeable. Marrying off his daughter was the last straw.
