Synopsis

Ethan, was a young boy was thrust from his childhood into one of loneliness and despair due to the actions of a dark cult that he was raised in.

After the cult that he grew up in called Tenebrosus used him as a sacrifice to bring forth their dark god Zaggoth.

He was broken as a person due to the stress of watching his family being eaten in front of him. This was set up to become the vessel for the dark god Zaggoth, Zaggoth wanted a new host to bring the world into despair and darkness.

This is the story of Ethan's journey into the world of Brutalis, a world of brutal monsters and evolution.

I am going to put a warning here, the first couple of chapters are very dark. If you cannot handle that, I would suggest maybe skimming it. However, it does play a part into why Ethan is the way he is as they are important to the story. But chapter 3 and on is more light hearted in certain scenes.

Brutal indeed! I'm super impressed with the vividness of your imagery (especially during the first scene of chapter 2). Your grammar and sentence flow are something to note too! Overall, I was very satisfied with the read!

The novel is really great, the details in each chapter is amazing although there were a few grammat mistakes I saw but it was barely noticeable. And the emotions for each character especially Ethan, it was amazing and great I definitely feel it has great potential, it's story and world building was great as well. The pace of the novel was definitely great as well and I would love to continue to read to see how Ethan will grow further and to see how will the author improve himself in writing the novel and story. So all in all it's a great novel, I definitely recommend reading it if you have the time!

Your writing quality is great. I found little to no typos, and there were no structural errors that I saw either. Regarding the update stability, I put at three stars, because you dumped many chaps in one day, then took 2 days to post another, and then another 2 days XD The story seems to be moving at a good pace and the character design is good. Your world background is where you shine most :) Keep up the good work :)

Honestly. Your writing is really good. the narration allows to imagine it and be immersed.im it like I want to when I look for books to read. alas I can't continue. at least not immediately. I was eating while reading and the scenes were so well written I nearly lost my meal. keep up the good work. I'm sure those that love such a genre will eat this up. if u write a book of a different kind with this good a writing capability I will definitely read it. *** embarrassed. guess I have a weak stomach. my mind is too fragile. sigh.

The writing quality is pretty good but the only problem is the tenses as they bother me the most when it comes novels. There's also some instances where it feels like the author is talking to us. Although I don't know if it's intentional or not. Everything else is pretty good except for the worldbuilding as we don't know if the MC is originally from earth or some other planet. I know that there's no need for that info but I'd have liked it way more if it had that.
