Synopsis
Reincarnated in the age of the legendary King Arthur, in the dangerous, unknown and hectic world of Fate no less, Aston knew not what drove him to join the King in his, no, her cause.. What had driven him to join her Round Table of Knights?
Was it his inability to look away and think solely for himself?
Was it the indescribable urge to do something about the unimaginable suffering of the common man?
Was it lust for his king?
Was it a desire for fame and glory?
His ambitions?
Aston had fought, killed, suffered, been betrayed, helped, saved, waged war and so much more.. To the point where he'd forgotten the naive him of the past, forgotten what he fought for and perhaps desperately clung to his loyalty to the Legendary King of Camelot.
Even as others left, he did not.. Aston remained his king's loyal spear, up until his last breath, his weapon was used to do as his king willed even if he'd long realised it would end with his own death...
Now, appearing in a modern age he'd all but forgotten, in a war against his own king, would he cling to the loyalties of a life ended or would he act upon his realisations and in doing so, abandon all he'd stood for?

A bit of clarification, this fic is NOT set in the age of King Arthur, it's about a young teenager who reincarnated there and acted on naive thoughts and went too deep to back out once that part of him died off.. The story is set in the 21st century, in the Fate/Stay Night world.

Definitely what I’v wanted to see from a Fate fanfic. None of the annoying reborn as a dumb magus and being an edge-lord infront of Gilgamesh and gathering a platoon of women servants for no reason at all ((we know the one I’m on about) though the women problem is still potentially there, hope to God it won’t) The writing is really good and doesn’t skip details to move on to what the author is trying to speed on to. They definitely use their words wisely, not wasting a paragraph to fill space. Super expectant for this one because it’s tthe type of fate book I’ve een waiting for. A Servant MC. Also, I hope the author doesn’t decide to make a mess of there being multiple of him in different timelines. Just do it. Don’t do the, ”there’s only one of you in all of time” rubbish. It’s not like he’s gonna cause any harm to anything; from what I have seen the MC is a righteous character who has a sense of right and wrong. Even if he goes through with what Astoria thought is a morally wrong situation, he also thinks that, proving he isn’t a mindless drone.
Great story, but there are very few chapters at the moment----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is amazing! Aston is a well-written character that feels real. Though I am curious if Aston will end up with Artoria. I hope so, at least I hope they are not enemies. Also, what is the update schedule gonna look like?

the problem I have with a lot of FF is that they feel empty yet this FF feels alive, making me feel as I'm there experiencing whats happening in person.
I love the interaction between the mc and the other characters, the story feels alive

The story is very well written, considering that it is a Fate story. The MC, Aston, is a complex, yet simple main character. You understand his reason for doing things. He's powerfull, but not OP.

well we don't have many SI/OC fate fanfic so for this only you have my full support and character background is also great , characters also don't feel occ. Nice start.
Seems good... So mc reincarnates in Camelot, he loves Artoria, butterfly effect in the Camelot war, still died for Artoria and reincarnated for a SECOND TIME in the future as a servant... if Artoria is not his wife... Someones house will burn :)

I thought the reviews are just exaggerating when I read them, but this might be the best fate fanfic I've read, you made an MC that is heroic in nature but also a person that also knows emotions, and is a funny character too. The characters are pretty on point and the romance if great. Overall this is an amazingly written novel and I can't wait to read more
There are only two chapters, but the story so far is great.I'm glad it's not a harem.I hope you can write more chapters..............I may update this post after reading more chapters.
