Synopsis
How bad can life be?
For Happy Lestrange, an ordinary boy from an ordinary world, after being diagnosed with stomach cancer at three, the hospital became his permanent home. As a result, he never got to make friends, never got to play, run, swim, and worst of all—eat.
His only respite to his boredom was various novels, movies, manga, and comics. But one of them stood above all others: Harry Potter.
He was always interested in its lore and slowly fell in love with everything about the Wizarding World. But the thing he envied the most was not the magic but rather the Hogwarts feasts.
So, with no cure in sight, at the age of 15, in a coma, he was put to eternal sleep. But that was not the end of the journey for Happy.
"Speak, young child, what do you desire? Heaven, or reincarnation?"
"Grandpa God, I want to go to Hogwarts and eat lots of tasty food!"
"..."
"Child, are you sure?"
"YES!"
"Young child, I bless you with luck. So go, taste the food, and experience all the mouthwatering scents! Go and eat to your heart's content."
And so began the journey of the boy who eats. But, there was a surprise for Happy. One that could also be a curse if used unwisely.
In a world so dark, and hurdles in his way plenty, can he overcome them and be...Happy?

MC has the power of luck, but it's not omnipotent. People can and will scheme against him. People can come after him. But luck is supposed to ensure Happy gets the best out of all the troubles.

Glad to see one of the greatest Authors on Webnovel making another fanfic once again, Has to be a 10/10 from me. Keep up the great work, Immortal!

Lol, this isn't good at all. The protagonist is mix of the worse traits, such as being obnoxious and clueless, with neither thoughts or plans, and has a personality of a child with npc level intelligence. His abilities are just being lucky and eating food, completely ignoring any magic and spells, simply because he's too lazy to do anything. The plot itself is just illogical nonsense, that consists of random events put together without any reason/structure, and anything interesting is replaced with mindless slice of life and unbearable soap opera drama, that contributes nothing to the plot. The writing, worldbuilding and dialogue is laughable that will make you feel like your are reading a children's book.
Not my cup of tea if I'm honest.. a pretty classic isekai type premise but he doesn't care about magic and just eats food while making things slightly easier for the golden trio. the author says in other comments that there are "huge conflicts" but I didn't see any of them and I'm up to date. I mean unless you call the random things he throws in conflict. for example but not limited to Neville trying to use crucio at his sorting ceremony (before he casts Lumos), when he couldn't even muster up that sort of rage against Bellatrix later in the books. its just nonsense drama the author made up not real engaging conflict. its a slice of life novel, no need to advertise it as something else.
the feel good slice of life no conflict or ambition is not for me but it may be for you. Happy and Harry sound too similair though so whilst reading you keep having to double check if context isn't good enough. very annoying. everything else is solid.
The story has its interesting moment. It is also comprehensible. But for the most part it's boring. The main character is pretty bland and he's way too cheerful and way too positive for me. I guess if you like a slice of life with a overly optimistic and sickly HAPPY protagonist. This might be the story for you.

Read this review and read this story: I have always had a secretive love of slice of life but this one story takes the spot of my top ten greatest of all time stories that I have read I have never read something that touched my heart and made me a loner and certified introvert want to actually take the time to give a review
Quality read that keeps up a good pace throughout, MC has a rough backstory that sets up his personality pretty well, and how he acts towards people. it's got action, fun moments, nice references to other movies and stuff, wholesome moments and moments that'll make you cry. Not a whole lot of romance, but MC does marry by the end.
Wow this is horrible. The MC was beyond obnoxious, everything that happens is stiff and feels forced. The 1st flying lesson was horrible, I wonder why this has a lot of 4-5 stars reviews because seriously, who wants to read a story where every interaction and events are forced💀

This Gorilla is back! Some of you may remember me from Grandpa Universe or Marvel Mister President fanfics. I was gone from the fanfic scene for nearly a year. I pursued writing an original book, called "I Became The Pope, Now What!" for webnovel WSA 2023. To my luck, I won a small nomination award.
