Synopsis
The God of Magic stopped blessing his believers.
The Tower of Magic, where the mages gathered and worshiped him was destroyed.
Magic Fell.

For 5000 years, the Vesta Family continued to produce exceptional Mages that were strong enough to resist other forces which came after their family heritage and treasures even without the Blessing of the God of Magic.
Now, however, the Vesta Family found themselves in a difficult situation where they didn’t have a single capable heir.
That was until, Christopher Davis, an underworld Gang Leader, transmigrates into the body of Vaan Astra Vesta, a well-known pushover and the ‘waste’ of the Vesta Family.
Christopher, now Vaan, soon realized that he could see otherworldly magic spirits with knowledge so vast that the Magic books that the Vesta Family treasured for 5000 years were nothing in comparison.
That, combined with Vaan’s own God-like Talent,
The ‘Hope’ was born.
A prodigy strong enough to not only protect the Vesta Family and its treasures,
A prodigy who will restore Magic to its former glory was born.

Alright, writing this review to clear some of the doubts some readers have. This review should help you decide whether to pick this book or not. First, and the most important thing, The relationship between Vaan and his mother will be a completely normal mother-son relationship. I don't even know why I even need to make this clear, I never hinted at any kind of romantic interest between the two, pls. Second, this book will not have a harem. Third, MC's character might be a bit because of his history. And uhh... I don't have anything else to say... Ah right, This book is amazing. I can say it because I have read it till the last chapter. I even know the future chapters so I can tell you that this book will get even better. So you guys should read it.
Hai Hai! I will be writing the 10th review myself. My book? Definitely 5 Stars. (Biased I am, kukuku.) Anyways, I can confidently say that this is my most well-thought-out book out of all I have written so far, the world-building is great, I gave my all to write a likable characters with their own flaws and potential to grow. The magic in the book isn't just normal, "Fireball!" And boom! I have tried to explain Magic Theories, Magic Circles, Inner Circles, Magic Patterns, and all that to make it as immersive as I can. Honestly, I will just say one thing, Trust your sloth friend and read the first 20-30 chapters, I am sure you will not regret it. Thank you~ Have a great day~
Here's a detailed review.I have got nothing bad to say about it. The mc is likable, uses his brain, is witty and most important of all is far less cringey than Nux and far less edgy than Azriel. In short a well balanced and a well written Mc. The story itself is very interesting and world background seems very wide from the little info we got. The characters do not seem 2D altho i dont know if it'll be the same in the future(i sincerely hope it does). Its very easy to read and not very complex. One thing i'd like to advice to author sama is this time please flesh out characters and give them depth through various events, be they from past or present, so the readers can emotionally connect to the characters. Internal monologues and POV changes is one such way of doing things. Ofc creating an entire rough file for the character traits and personality makes it easier for the author to decide which actions a certain character will take in various situations. AND ofc thanks for giving us another banger, hope to see more of you soon.
5 Stars from me cause I really like 'SHGS'as for the book so far it's good, but i hope you drop more chapters fast cause 18 chapters is very few for me to build intrest , well you can drop atleast till 30 chapter really fast.and finally the MC personality there's nothing to complain really likable.keep up the good work
5 stars cause it fits my liking and has high quality while not mincing the social factors of the story development, although a bot slower than the usual for the author development quiet a nice read.

Thought i reviewed already. Either way, a book made by Mr. Sloth is bound to be a masterpiece in writing. Altough found some things about the book that i didn’t like, they were minimal and didn’t ruin the experiance in the slightest. I find this to be a great book

I hope the spirits have too. like having their own background would be kinda cool.. imagine a cute little spirit saying in a cheeky way "I am Aqua Oceansia" my frnd recmded it.. it's awesome she was bragging as if she wrote it on her own. .

This Story is amazing, the world building is fantastic everything is ok, but the rate at which new chapters are being released is way too slow, is so slow that one might just get tired of waiting for a new chapter and for get about the story so please can release more chapters and if its possible start with a bulk release then continue from releasing little by little like 2 episodes a day just like other stories, to me i believe that if not for the outrageously slow speed this story is being released it should have been in its 500+ chapters by now
To be honest I don’t have any real complaints about this book, the pacing is great and the story developement is equally good. I like how Vaan is both changing as a person and yet keeping his original core nature. Elara, the fl, is actually a very lovable character which is surprising for me because I usually hate the love interests, but she is well incorporated into the story and doesn’t seem like an awkward add on. The strength gain is reasonable and well explained over time and the villains are well written and don’t disappear after five chapters. The only complaint I have is that there isn’t much world development outside of the main villain and a part of the city. Other than that, it’s a very good book, I definitely recommend it!

Writing quality - Like always, the content is well delivered and the way the power system and spells is developed seems very interesting and well thought out from what we know so far. Looking forward to seeing more of it. Story Development - World building has started off strong, has the foundations to be a great story. Quite interested in seeing how the MCs relationships are going to develop. Character Design - Definitely one of your best written MCs and side characters, every interaction has been fleshed out throughly, and the characters aren’t cardboard placements. The MCs personality is great, not cheesy or overly edgy. Hope to see more interactions! All in all, story has great potential and i cannot wait to see more of it!
