Synopsis
Emmet fights off a soul invasion from a transmigrator equipped with a cheat power. In the process, he gains not only Pokémon knowledge but also a unique ability called Efficiency Mastery. Psychic powers? Yes, he can develop them now. Fighting Type energy? Why wouldn't he be able to manipulate it? And what is that? EM (Efficiency Mastery) bleeds over to the pokemon bound he has with his team and make them grow at extraordinary speeds? Is there a limit?
Now armed with these tools, Emmet is skeptical. Can he really rely on Ash, who's often too naive and sometimes even stupid for his own good, to repeatedly save the world?
Not on his watch.
This fic includes death and violence althought it is not the main focus. Just a warning that it is not a slice of life or something "light".
There is not a "word count chapter" or anything of the sort, just a straight up fiction for you to enjoy.

Author loves angst. Too many loop holes. And situations get forced to "push" mc to brink of death and despair. Its unnatural and unrealistic.Its irritating. All this EM power and metaknowledge but messing up still.
The last chapters very disappointing it seems that the MC does not move forward if he does not go backwards, he acts worse and worse, the only way for him to change his attitude is to have his pokémon murdered because he deserves it, nor does Ash act like that in that way[img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap]
As usual, romance and proper characterization leads to a story floundering. The concept is great, the pokemon and their personalities are written well. The battle scenes are very good. However, there are some issues: 1)The author struggles with how to characterize the MC. At one moment he is a rational mature character, but then the next he is a moronic or blushing fool stumbling through life with no control. 2)Side characters feel like they have little to no personality, and this holds true slightly for the MC and unforgivably for the female lead. The female lead has the personality of wet cardboard and within a short amount of chapters the mc (due to his own idiocy m) is locked into being with her. The pokemon, funny enough, feel more human than the humans. But that being said the female lead makes this nearly unreadable to me. 3)Awful romance. I think this ruins the story in its entirety. He reveals one of his most precious secrets. Shares his cheat. Props her up increasingly close to his level, and worst of all lets himself be bound for life to an incredibly mid and boring woman via ignoring the obvious signs. There are countless more interesting, lively, and beautiful chapters in this world yet our mc is now stuck with a trash female lead. If the romance wasn’t so god awful and cringe I would probably rate this at least 1.5 points higher, possibly 2. Overall, if you can tolerate inconsistent MCs and trashy romance then the rest of the story makes this worth at least an attempt to read. 6.8/10, if romance was not such a disaster ~8.2/10.
The "EM" seems like a neat ability but the main character is inept, he can't do anything, he may as well be a quadriplegic and the story wouldn't change much. Pokemon typings only matter when the moves are super effective against his pokemon or weak against other pokemon, basically the main character's pokemon are f***ed no matter what.The main character has superpowers but doesn't use them to fight, even when it's a life or death situation.
Well written but horrendous MC with plot holes galore. First 10 chapters are pretty awesome and interesting, but 11+ the story suddenly changes into a grim dark style that makes no sense.
I like this story very much, although with the current pace and the speed of development of mc op ability and pokemon, I don't see how the story can continue above 100 chapters without getting dull, his team grows to fast is my point. Maybe he will pull a xianxia trick and travel to an alternative dimension with average stronger pokemon to fight, but at that point, it will be harder to keep the story interesting, in my opinion.
The development is really good im looking forward to some more chapters truly a good job bravo author and on another note I like that your starting at kanto and that canon events still exist but the main character has been a separate entity
Without a doubt, the best written story on this app. That encompasses all novels and fanfics. I've read far too many novels and ff's, so again from personal experience; this is the best writing I have seen in all my 5 years on this app. Not only that, the plot itself is quite nice, and it's different. The flow of the story is consistent, it's adventurous, it has a slice-of-life vibe to it, the character has an actual past, and there's been some decent (but not alot) of character development. Most of its recent development but development regardless.

Good novel although it was a hard start for me I started to like it can't wait for more chapters thanks author!
Well written so far. Like the realistic pokemon world with the wild element implemented. The story is progressing at a good pace, main character is well I still need more chapters to judge him, but he could be improved, but other than that the story is enjoyable for a poke fan.
Loving the novel so far the MC was very naive at the beginning but he got much better! I do wonder will the MC accidentally or purposfuly form aura bonds with more then one women (harem)?

Its pretty good. The power balance is all wack tho. Looking at a mary sue typa deal. Hopefully it doesn't get too edgy, kinda ruins most of the good pokemon fics tbh. Kinda cringe to delve into the edge imo.
just to avoid trio of rocket clowns, mc decided to go on a perilous journey .. .

What can I say? It's a great book, sure the Author has a lot of things to work on and the Efficient Mastery skill doesn't actually fit the Pokemon world but nevertheless It's an amazing read
Writing quality- the quality was above average for a fanfic. No major errors and is a quality read. Update stability- I wish it updates more but it's a fanfic authors so my expectations were low. The story development- I like the direction of the story but I hate how weak the mentality and lack of foresight. I know it's suppose the show his growth but there doesn't seem to be a reward for his progress other than gym badges. Every time he goes exploring he almost dies everytime. Some scenarios aso seem forced and the probability of it happening is so low. Character design so far is mid but he left room growth so he might grow on me. World background is solid with some sus parts.
What can I say? I find myself enjoying what I wrote even when rereading it to make sure I didn't make any mistake, so it's OK, I guess? I'm writing just for fun and practice, so I devote a reasonable time to the outline and few details of the world I'm building (upon the sometimes nonsensical one from Pokemon). What I try to do is get as close in quality to my favorite Pokemon Fanfics, Hard Enough from Viva01 and The New Normal from CartecFF. If my fic get half as good as theirs I will be pretty happy with myself. Have a great time reading Pokemon EM and any other novels!
