Synopsis

The apocalypse came sooner than the destined date, taking the lives of Nagan’s rabbit pets before he could go back home after work. The loss was enough to awaken a new reality-tainting ability from the depth of his crumbling heart.

Seeing his wrathful ferocity and prowess on display, a mysterious overseer leaps forward from the heights—before proposing to the human to be her one and only husband.

“Thus henceforth, in our hearts’ bloody honeymoon—lay you and I, a pair of nightly groom-to-be~”

Still overwhelmed by the amount of blood he has lost, Nagan accepts the proposal while on the verge of being unconscious.

He didn’t realize that he had become the seed producer and leader of a kingdom with a rabbit-eared army.

________

Usalian is a unisexual race that only consists of females within their social construct, with the exception of a ‘Patriarch’ that acts as the leader of the whole colony, while also being the seed provider to expand the population of the ‘Kingdom’, together with the ‘Queen’ that doubles as a the kingdom’s sole broodmother and figure of nobility.

Every Usalian Queens of a different kingdom possessed a different power and specialization, but all of them possessed the trait to filter the extracted seeds of their ruling partner and birth those qualified seeded eggs instantaneously inside a special realm without any period of gestation.

It’s easier to believe that all of this process is done magically without any scientific explanation, except for the seed extraction which can be done manually through consensual intercourse.

Usalians themselves don't possess the concept of aging, as they grow mentally, spiritually, and physically through experience.

Different experiences lead to a different growth and specialization. Sometimes, they are able to mutate and evolve an entirely unique trait to their genome, upgrading their capability by just simply existing.

To top it off, every newborn kit inherited all of the strength, traits, genetic prowess, and the potential of their Patriarch with a ranging diversity depending on the Patriarch's Seeds Quality Quotient.

As such, it is vital for the Patriarch to train and acquire a new strength through arrays of methods ranging from genetical surgery, mediation, physical training, relics, acquisition of supernatural, etc—to ensure the prosperity of the Kingdom.

"Florida man gets angry at spawns of Héll, gets rizzed by a bunny alien and married off screen and must now become a father to a gazillion bunny daughters as he leads them to stave away further cosmic destruction of the universe." is how I'd describe it. It's one of those books where it drives on all four lanes and you're just there to see what happens next. Like the other reviews says, it's not a harem, the protagonist is with his wife through and through (and of course, they have their romantic moments so it's a genuine relationship as opposed to a mainly political one.) Science and pseudo-science are littered throughout this book, mainly encompassed around kingdom-building and the progression of society at large. The way the Usalians (the bunny people) think, however, might deviate from common human ideology, so take what they do with a grain of salt somewhat. Grammatically, you can probably spot a few mistakes here and there, but they don't necessarily take you out of the experience. The author likes to be a bit unorthodox in their phrasing, and they reference a lot of pop culture media alongside some ancient religious pretext or mythos into their narrative. If what I said sounded like your cup of tea, then by all means. My Apocalyptic: Rabbit Wife is what it markets itself to be; a fantasy sci-fi kingdom-building book with a philosophical narrative towards the idea of humanity from the perception of another species. The characters are charming and diverse, and the book can be allegorical enough to a Clash of Clans game (not entirely, but it's scarily accurate that it's funny)

Bunny girls, few words that can make a man happy. Do not misunderstand, this is not harem, but there are sub-romantic interactions between our protagonist and his bunny girl wife, which I adore. While the other bunny girls are his daughters and there will be more (Our protagonist is a stallion). Kingdom building, is good, especially paired up with our protagonist's daughters which provide a good comedy.

Through the sheer power of fast-passes, (And some beta reading because I'm friend with the author) I have reached chapter 104, and I will try my best to cast an unbiased review about this story as a whole. What is this story all about? It's a story about 18 Godlike humans who fought against the apocalypse for the humanity's future. 70 years passed since the apocalypse, and these 18 individuals regressed back into the past, 2 years right before the apocalypse. The MC, Nagan Ingram, is one of those godlike individuals. Other than the fact that this timeline is immensely different than the last one, the story focuses on MC's side who mainly stays in a private realm owned by his rabbit-eared alien wife where their kingdom resided. In which, they expand their population by either taking refugees, or literally making offsprings. Some questionable morality is implied, but remember, the rabbit wife is not a human and shouldn't be judged using human's morality. Oh also, the rabbit-eared offsprings immediately come out mature and ready to work or fight (THEY YEARN FOR THE MINE), they also inherited the MC's power, strenght, special abilities, and traits. Which mean that each generation is stronger than before. Did I mention that the concept of age didn't exist to them and they practically grow physically, mentally, and spiritually through experience? Did I mention that they also evolve and mutate? So it's literally one domestic family in the form of a kingdom, despite the book telling you otherwise. It's weird and unheard of, but get used to it, the world-building is amazing that I promise you. Writing Quality: 9/10 The writing is top notch with many important, emotional, and hype moment woven in rhymes and metaphors. It used a lot of show-not-tell, and there are also a good balance between exposition and actions that follows it. Mistakes exist, but I think the writing is great. The pace is also not fast enough that you don't know what is happening, nor is it slow enough to make you bored. Story Development: 9/10 I didn't thought that a story about a man and his family of rabbits can be this engaging and dynamic. All of MC's daughters possess personality and quirk that's inherited from him, and they bring a lot of wacky comedy and plot progression into the story. Though sometimes, things can escalate really fast. Character Design 10/10 One of the rabbit possess two left arms and one right arm that is essentially bigger and holding the equivalent of nuclear fusion reactor. One of the rabbit has a vertical halo on her back, and so on. The MC is a dynamic mastermind in the making that adapts to the highest degree, to the point that his wife got scared of him, lol. Some of the side characters are also great, like a mouse-eared never-aging race that bear spiritual fire on their ears. I haven't seen much design and characterization on the Earth side, but I guess the story is still too early. Updating Stability: 7/10 Sometimes it's 3 chapters, sometimes it's one big chapter, not something I can cal consistent. But it updates daily, so 7 points. World Background: 9/10 The story took place in many places, and it will definitely expand more. The main stage of the plot as of now is the apocalypse that's happening on earth, with three other mysterious faction that haven't been revealed yet. And then there is the MC playing base building game on his private realm and wayward world. Regardless, it's a must try story if you want something new. I suggest ignoring all of the flaw you see and read until chapter 50 before you decide, it's crafted with passion and eyes for details, except some of the occasional mistakes there and there lol. Is it the best of the best? Not really. Is it a fun story? Most definitely. As such, I reccomend to you "My Apocalyptic Rabbit Wife", a story about doomguy-like protagonist, and his rabbit-eared wife. ... IS THIS A DOOM REFERENCE ALL ALONG!???

It is made out in a language which is focused more on eloquence and sophistry than practical use and ease of reading. This makes it a chore to read it hence breaking my immersion. I genuinely tried to read for the good premise it promised but the complex language used helped put me to sleep in no time twice. This takes away from the reading experience and immersion making it not compelling enough to persue the end of the story and sadly I will be dropping it as I am here for my enjoyment not to be educated on my new words and ways to form sentences to depict the same scene in a much more complex and beautiful way.

Writing a review in the perspective of administrative and mostly behind the scenes work, I can safely say that it is meticulous in its details, from the system of government being essentially a hive mind that embraces progress, a deep and understanding view of anything related to magic, an expansive world spanning wide and far. That being said, I would wholeheartedly say that its portrayal of technological evolution is particularly special, who knew that you can use manure to produce gunpowder, or better yet, the application of magic in otherwise conventional equipment is thoroughly explored and fully realized. Also the politics is good.

140+ chapters with like 185k views only? Ain't no way bruh with how consistent the author is, I'm surprised that it hasn't leapt in popularity. I guess the bunny girls are not strong enough to carry this hard-working author lol. Here's a real review in three words, Too much jargon. I fell asleep reading through a paragraph, I was not even tired while reading through the early chapters, and then all of a sudden I woke up at 4 am. Anyway, I recommend this for a fast lullaby.
