Synopsis

Though, nothing is ever quite so simple. His beloved Goddess is practically useless, majority of nobles look down on him due to his heritage and the conflicts of the ever-spinning Game of Thrones are on the horizon. Given the opportunity to succeed in his ambitions, Arthur... now Edric Storm is determined to make the most of his new gifts despite all the obstacles ahead of him.

Not only one of the best GoT fics, but also one of the best fics I've ever read. It's rare to find such a piece of media, but this fic genuinely sparked emotion in me. And the way the author dealt with Lysanna's death, and how the MC finally realised how much Raiden meant to him was simply golden. Would recommend it to anyone who likes a worthwhile read. PS: Please Author, Could you give us more interactions between Riden and the MC. I want to see the romance between them truly blossom. I totally ship the two.

Great novel, with nothing but excellent dialogue that captivates and draws you into the world, unfortunately all this was ruined personally by some terrible choices. The first of which is the anti climactic death of his first love, which mind you is an OC. Most won’t like this, personally I didn’t either not because of them being OC but due to the lack of character development, an OC Whose only interiaction occurs with our Mc four times, before our emotionally needy Mc falls head over heal for her. Second and the worst yet is the sparing of Jamie Lannister, without giving into spoilers let’s just say he killed someone close very close to the mc in blood, but instead of killing him the mc spares him and sends him to the wall. I still cannot except how Stannis a stickler for rules was able to except this, it’s completely illogical and breaks all the narrative. But other than these it’s a great novel, with stable updates, and no gramatical errors, fantastic characters and emotionaly captivating dialogue, and just a fun read all around the first eighteen chapters are a just a blast. So if you have a spare time or bored give it a read it’s probably one of the best game of thrones fanfiction on WEBNOVEL at the moment. I’ll update this review in the future when the book is finished.
Enjoyable story that keeps you engaged. Some parts there is room for annoyance, but you can always expect that. I couldn’t ask for much more.

It has great potential, good writing, character, and so on. Although Robert Baratheon did visit Edric and gave Varys the duty of sending him a gift every day in his name (on his birthday) from him. Edric was sent a gift from his father every year on his name day, a pony one year, an ermine cloak the next, even once a miniature hammer, just like the one his father used. of the. Edric wrote to King's Landing to thank his father for the gifts; Robert received the letters, laughed and asked Varys what he had sent him. Robert got into the habit of going to see Edric in Storm's End a few days a year. He was the one who taught him how to fight, sometimes they practiced together.
A strong start with some bonuses for the reincarnated MC but nothing OP atleast yet as MC trains relentlessly for his skills. Writing quality is good, the humor is there as the MC’s inner monologues have made me chuckle a couple of times. The only downside I would say is that the MC is quite young and will have only hit his teenage years when canon kicks off.
tldr: Overall I've enjoyed it. There are irks for average viewers. Transitions between plots could use work. But the characters are active, the plot interesting, and the dialogue is fun. Personally I've enjoyed the novel. While the novel does have some irks most people wouldn't tolerate and a lot of irks that an average webnovel reader wouldn't enjoy such as attempts at character development, drama, non-gary su character, etc etc, it is at least of higher quality than other garbage on this platform. A few critiques I do have is slow down a bit and give a chapter or two to build up to certain events. Monologues here, conversations there, perspective changes, introspection all around. The story feels like it's hopping from one idea to another and though I can see the direction and reasoning in my run-through it was abrupt and to most, out of place/forced.

I if you do harem do not make it pokemon harem. Make it so certain wifes will be in charge of certain things. Example if you get a wife that's good at medical make her in charge of medical department, your wife good at subterfuge make her in charge of spies, what's this my wife is a grandmaster engineer well let's make a department for you to be in charge of. LOVE YOUR STORY PLEASE CONTINUE!!!!

One if not the best asoiaf fanfic I have read in a while. To the author, continue what you're doing, it's fantastic and I'm excited what you're plan for this book in the future.
