Finally! Something new and different from all the junk in pilot read! Hopefully, it's not something misleading! Let's just appreciate this entry for finally freeing us from the clutches of the same boring and overused ideas.
Synopsis is random, So here’s a SHORT Synopsis based on 30 chapters: TAG- “Mystery and Magical realism”. Separate Modern world, Semi-Hidden mystical societies, superpowers/western cultivation. MC seems to be lawful/neutral good with decent and cautious personality. (So far no BS faceslapping or unnecessary enemies) For people posting reviews about the the mention of galaxy in synopsis, There is nothing about that in the book so far. And this is a fiction book stop using science or common sense to judge it. Because technically this is happening in a completely different world with its own laws decided by the author. Long Synopsis with personal views: First of this is giving major Lord of mysteries vibes with the way of writing, Mystery and plot-line. It almost feels like the copy of LoTM. But we shall see. This seems to be a a separate modern world (No mention of known countries, Different timeline - 1700s but having guns and mobile) with common people and a hidden super world which is not that hidden (Lord of Mysteries vibes). So far the story revolves around our MC trying to solve the case of his Best friend dying in mysterious circumstances and how the death might be related to him. There’s not much happening in the first 30 chapters as the author is slowly showing the background and the plot, Unlike recent books which shows all of the background/cheat/power of mc in the first chapter. MC has confirmed existence of supernatural Power by chapter 20. And he might have gotten a little cheat (Not sure if it’s really a cheat, Because it feel similar gaining a common cultivation resources by a mortal who has no idea cultivation exists). MC seems to be cautious type, Thinks before acting but not the level that seems exaggerated. Also this book has 600 chapters but the translator are diving them in 2-4 chapters. (Don’t worry it won’t make a difference to coins because rather than getting 20 coins at once they get 6-6-8 coins, The only negative point is lower no of chapters.) Basically definitely worth a read for people who are tired of the usual trial read novel on WN. At the same time you can not judge much with just 30 chapters.

This is better known as Star Gate, try changing the title to the original. It's very popular novel in Chinese website, this 'Constellation Door' is too unfamiliar. Novelupdates doesn't even link it here.
I find the story to be boring and heavy to read, its like a monotonous slice of life even as he is investigating a crime, there is no excitement in the way it is written
Really boring i've read till chapter 39 and he still has no powers or anything, he seems to have found some sort of energy but that's it, all in all very boring and slow even the investigation of the murder is boring, also it seems that after chapter 40 webnovel does the trick where it wants you to pay for machine translated content, I've not really checked since i'm already bored after 39 chapters of nothing.
Really drew me in, shame that the translation went downhill after the first 40 chapters. I genuinely enjoyed the beginning, but once the slightly edited mtl hit and you constantly had to make an educated guess as to who is currently speaking because the correct and consistent use of pronouns is just too much to expect from a translation you're expected to pay for... It made the reading experience a lot less enjoyable. In short: story = good translation = not worth your money
This novel is absolutely fantastic with a total of 3k chapters. So far I have read till 1.8k chapters and am still hooked. Its not just about martial arts but how the martial arts system is constantly refined to become better. Only issue is the machine translation which makes it difficult to read. Is there a way where random people can edit the chapters that are translated with machine?
I saw some sentence similar Google Translate. Example , In Chapter 49 - Liu Yan casually kicked Li Hao and chuckled.””This woman, stay away from me! Isn't it supposed to ''this woman , stay away from her''? And also Chapter 49 name is ''The superpower territory(3)'' But Chapter 48 name is ''The superpower realm(2)''. ????? Isn't so similar to GT? I think translator use help from GT?
Star Gate, Finally This novel is on Translation.. i have read the whole book in MTL. It was an amazing experience for me... Mc is Smart Calculative and Decisive.. I love the story... It has good amount of Mysteries, Good amount of exploring Ancient Ruins and such, Great Characters, It has a amazing world background.. It is connected to Author's previous Two Books and If you read the previous works of the author you will love this too.. its not just a Reference to his previous novel but the whole universe is same for the 3novels.. Man i love the Avengers level Crossovers... To give a overall Perspective This book's Mc is in the Present... And Author's Previous Two Mc's one represent Past & one Represent Future.. This Is the story where these Past, Present & Future Connect together.. Well this Novel was the No1 Novel In Qidian Leaderboard for many Months in 2021-2022.. so you should give it a try for that.. Well In MTL it was "Star Gate".. The English name kinda bother me a bit😅😅 hope they used proper terms to translate the story..

The author uses Galaxia and then constellation in the synopsis. The first is a scientific set of data on the scale of billions of celestial bodies. The second is something our ancestors invented while living in caves, eating without washing their hands, and not even dominating fire. The contradiction is so absurd that the author cannot take this story very far.
Author drags every chapter as much as possible. Sometimes they even talk for chapters. And the main character have a disgusting personality. It wants me want to drop this novel. Firstt he is naive Then arrogant Then timid Then he gets a cuckold personality where he don’t care when people is plotting against him and letting them do it. He just smiles at everyone and acts like he is someone under them. And author just forces personalities upon personalities into the main character. And calls it “mysterious”. He even lets his whole kingdom gets humiliated several times because it’s “A part of the plan” and right after he said he wants to be a saint with no killing .
The story is good but the translation need editing. There are grammar errors every chapter making some sentences really hard to understand. The quality is better than MTL but the errors make it hard to really enjoy the story. I occasionally saw people commented in the chapters about the errors but so far non has been fixed
Translation sucks but the story is good.. seems like machine translation with bit of editing
this novel gives me the feeling I got when I started reading "star odysseys" that feeling when you know you've stumbled unto the right novel

Apparently it's the same author as World's Best Martial Artist. WBMA was my favourite of 2020, I haven't really found a better novel for myself in 2021 either, I enjoyed it much more than the hyped LoTM that I lost interest in after hundreds of chapters. Sadly qidian dropped the translations. But since it had long chapters as well, these ~430 chapters feel like many many more. So I am very excited to hear that the author delivered another good novel, and with LoTM vibes at that (if what others say is true). If you liked Constellation Door, feel free to check out WBMA. What I am sad about is that the dirty practices of slicing up chapters have touched this novel. Why, why.... money huh..

100% the best novel except for Outside of Time in the last 5 months. We don’t have to lose braincells from ”cultivation emulator” and ”god level drug dealer system.”
