Fulfilment of heart or downfall of mind

A small young youth goes around making people's day with songs of revival and with gifts of hearts. Opal though being half blind had the brightest eyes in her village. Going on and about not caring for a single thing in the world. She eventually bumps into a young adult in a empty state of emotion. Opal wants this young man to feel better for she promised her deceased friend whom she says are soaring in the stars. Will Opal be able to heal this empty soul or will the empty soul drain the goodness of this joyous soul?
