Synopsis
Ruby, a living product of her dad's mistakes, has to grow up with an illness that turns out to be so much more than her mom and doctor make it seem. This results in her moving to a new city. New Orleans.
Avery, who loses his mom and his childhood friend, goes to college in New Orleans to prove a point to himself and to Ruby who left without saying anything.
What happens when their paths cross? What happens when their family secrets become more that they can handle? When it starts to take a toll on their "friendship", will they be able to handle the heat?

The book doesn't have grammar errors, but it could use a professional touch. Regardless, it's addictive, very addictive. I love every character. It's suspense filled and drama filled. The characters are fast paced, but editing fixes it all. It's definitely a book that won't be a waste. Kuddos to the author! Do update more
