He has experienced death and rebirth many times, crossing different realms and eras under different identities, without ever becoming aware of his individuality.
Before his existence was completely redefined, he lived on a world called Earth, where he was born one hundred and sixty-one times. During his last life on Earth, at the age of sixteen, he fell into a coma. When he woke up, he realised that he was doomed... doomed to live and die again and again.
