Author is Neo Nazi. Novel is all about 'Superiority of Yellow Race( Han Chinese) and how White race is inferior (Westerners)' and like all Chinese novels there are 'Japanese' villains all over the novel. The novel is nothing but Author's attempt to earn Chinese Credit-Points. There are three super powers in this novels namely China, West and Russia. India and Middle East forms Second Class powers, Vikings(Nords) and African nations third class powers. Author tries to convince in every way possible to audience how only Chinese Gods are Superior.

First 9 chapters are nearly unbearable due to the absolutely moronic behavior from every character shown such as: -Dude has super rare ability of map/strategize evolution routes but doing so consumes his evo potential... so he proceeds to spend about 1/3 of his points before saying, "Wait, I can't use any of those paths/combinations since I don't have to genes." -Dispite all the technology and progress in humanity, the people in charge of assigning 'trash' fates to the BILLIONS of people do so in person... at their dinner tables... through holographic calls.... Who would even EAT AT A DINNER TABLE in the future so why wait for that instead of email/messenger type communications or just having the bloody schools had out the info at their computer desk... like what?? -Advance space faring civilization, believes a student cheated on test so the classroom of CHILDREN with their teacher proceed to go over his questions that the holographic quantum computer graded as correct as if they people who NEEDED to prove their intellengce and correct an ai. -Story constantly states that higher evolution equates to light speed thought process and even more accurate memory functions, everyone assumes its possible for a barely super human [0.4] to vastly outpace a 2.2 super human in the test like it makes more sense than other options so they redicule/threaten/prevent said student from gene test.

I really had to force myself to read the first ten chapters to give the story a chance. Like with The Strongest Gene, the “science” in this novel makes me feel like I’m bashing my head into a wall. One hundred percent does not equal 100% in this series. If you don’t understand a lick of science, then make the series pure fantasy! Amino acids and the function of turning genes on and off aren’t mentioned. Why aren’t viruses used for genetic modification? Did people from the future forget how to splice genes? Furthermore, if you’re in a clan, then isn’t there a good chance that you are related and share the same genes? Why are there “formulas” and “equations” for genes? I would have thought the translators chose the wrong term and wrote “gene” instead of whatever was meant, but DNA is specifically mentioned in the second chapter. The author’s ideas on evolution are… interesting, even if they don’t make a lick of sense. Pluto returned to being a planet. The complications of pioneering through space and colonizing various habitats with different gravities is completely left out. Also, the author seems to have forgotten about the planets in other galaxies and that everything in space is constantly moving and isn’t going to stay in one place. ….Why are math and the sciences classified as “literature” in this school? Just wtf… If something is going to be sci-fi, then actually make it sci-fi! There is no science to go along with all this fiction! This is a standard, painfully cliché transmigration story where the person from the past takes over the body of a loser in the future. As usually, the MC starts out quite weak and looked down upon by his clan, but he undergoes magical stat-boosting... There is nothing original here. At all. The story starts off with an information dump so heavy, I almost dropped the series in the first few chapters. This is definitely a series that “tells” the story rather than “shows” it. Impressively boring. Without establishing the character or giving the readers any interest in the plot, the MC just cultivates. That’s right—this may actually be a cultivation novel disguised as a science-fiction. As for characterization, there isn’t any. I guess the MC’s trait is that he’s hard-working? He was from our era, but nothing is revealed about his past life. There is no story or character design, and the background doesn't make a lick of sense. I feel bad for the translation team for having to read this. Not recommended.
This story started great. So great in fact, that I moved on to the raws in the hopes of reading ahead and then...I dropped it. Why might you ask? Well... extreme nonsensical racism....spoilers to follow..... [spoiler] In the story the MC considers white Caucasians extremely inferior and even labels them as disgusting eggs ("white skin yellow hair"). He goes on to proclaim the absolute supremacy of Chinese traditions and history as well as insult and denigrate others including the biblical and Greek beliefs/mythology. Even Buddhism gets insulted and labeled inferior. He associates white people with Nazi symbols and Aryan beliefs while clearly painting a rather clear point of how the Chinese are superior. Not only that, but by chapter 150 he has already become strong enough to kill a "lame" and "loser" titan... [/spoiler] The arrogance of this MC and writer got beyond my tolerance and thus I decided there are many other series worth my time. The fact that the same ridiculous and fundamentally flawed mythical nonsense gets explained multiple times does not help either...

"Legend of the Racist Author" had a lot of potential for a LitRPG fanfic. Self-evolution through awakening genes and then combining them could make for some very interesting content. I tried really hard to like it, reading 125 chapters before giving up on it entirely. The author's blatant racism ignores the scientific fact that humans are 99.5% similar. Regardless of skin color and appearance, we've got mostly the same genetics and we're not actually that different. He also bakes in legends to the DNA, which doesn't work. Especially since he's somehow awoken the genes of Sun Wukong, the monkey king. Obviously Sun Wukong isn't part of any human genetic tree. And if it's just the *story* that matters, you could awaken the power by being told the story - no genes required. In any case, anyone would be able to awaken any genetic power regardless of race or heritage. Despite that, he invents the "disgusting egg-humans" (chapter 105 and on) which are people forced by a corporation to undergo genetic modification to become white and undergo brainwashing to ensure loyalty. Horrifying as the concept is, the victims shouldn't be treated as disgusting. However, since the author is racist to his core, he uses this to express the superiority of Chinese culture and legends because it's all a racist metaphor for the foolishness of giving up on Chinese culture to accept anything western. Yes, he actually argues that someone else's fictional mythology is inferior to Chinese fictional mythology (chapter 125 and a few other places). Apparently there are still new lows to racism, where we argue over who made up the best lies about the origin of the world. He destroys the only record of a revolutionary alchemy method because he can't trust any other race. That's right. It wasn't because he was suspicious of the company's goals (which he was). It was because he couldn't stomach a white person learning it. From chapter 102: "He had no way to hide this, but it was impossible for Feng Lin to allow people like Frank and Aike from the white race to obtain this inheritance. Since they weren't from his own race, their intention would surely be different." Wow. That's the kind of mindset the author has. Let's not forget that one of the minor villains is a Japanese assistant (turned white through that contrived ritual). Of course he spitefully backstabs the MC, who comments that it was expected because all Japanese are jackals. From chapter 115: "As expected of a Japanese. Even though he changed his race, his jackal-like personality and the habit of biting his own master would never change." Can't have a Chinese novel without attacking the Japanese. I wish I was making this trash up. In a perfect world, racist trash like this wouldn't have 15 million views and a rating of 8.4 in China. However, with nationalism and propaganda being more important than basic humanity, trash like this doesn't get hidden - it gets published and makes a racist author rich. I wish we lived in a world where no one reads or writes this trash.

I do not like all these cultivation novels that follow the same path. It’s always the same clichés over and over again. And trying to reach godhood? Really? There are 6 or 7 other novels that you can find just on this platform that follow that same rout. Wish we had a more believable story. Not a fan. 2 stars
I was enjoying myself, but then the story started getting rather long-winded. With this and the ****ty 'let's hear how the bystanders doubt the mc' meme, I'm just about done with this story. Thanks but no thanks, I decided I don't need this story anywhere near me. If you want examples, I'm too tired rn to give them, just read the first ~20 chapters if you haven't already and you'll notice it too.

Started off with an okay premise and world. Quickly went to absolute crap with filler writing only a handful of chapters in and unnecessary peanut gallery comments that span half a chapter or more. Also, the law of the jungle is so ridiculously crazy when compared to other novels of this type that it actually hurts the whole society being successful enough to travel the galaxy thing the author is trying to portray. Those achievements could literally never happen and it just shows how stupid the author is. I’ve heard a lot from other reviews that this book gets incredibly racist within the coming chapters. Really disappointed.
The story is actually kind of enjoyable, great quality and stable updates. The thing that really drags down the story is the author. He's a Chinese supremacist. I know a little can be fine and it can be funny at times but it's taken a too far in this novel. So readers beware, it's a nice novel but wow the racism becomes the plot line almost. Instead of fighting the common enemy he just wails on none han races. Oof.

This novel is simply a mess. The author decided to use a futuristic setting(about 10000 years in the future) and saying how much people evolved only to paste an average cultivation template afterwards. Every ***** in this novel most likely lost about 90% of their IQ before being introduced in the story and A LOT of the chapters are just fillers,with the author repeating the same sentence multiple times albeit a bit changed. Even worse is the fact that after he started to improve a little(most likely due to negative criticism he faced when he released) it comes down as full blown nationalism,describing the white people as nazi and chinese as the superior humans and promoting the superiority of Asian mythology above every other myths. If you are bored you can give it a try to waste some time but if it goes premium DON'T waste your stones on this trash
