Synopsis
I will make this Simple:
Jay gets reincarnated into the Pokemon World and with an unexpected turn of events, he joins Team Rocket. Follow Jay as he tries to survive in the cruel world of pokemon while questioning his morals and doing things he would have never expected.
This fanfic will be slow to medium paced.
Cover Art: I found it on Pinterest but couldn't find the artist, it was just uploaded on Pinterest. There was no info on the artist no matter how much I search.

Nothing surprising, I'm going to give this particular story a 5 stars rating. Not only because it is an excellent story, but also because I want to give a little support to the author. Not that I want to sound dramatic, but this novel is surprisingly one of the best pokémon fan-fics of this website. Which honestly, there's only 3 or 4 stories here that are actually decent. The protagonist, Jay, is a well written and charismatic MC that everyone will enjoy acompanying. The fact he has an actual personality, weaknesses and thoughts already makes him stand out from the majority of the MCs from webnovel. And if you're one of those readers that particularly dislikes overpowered protagonists and dumbass cheats, like me, then this story is definitely for you. Despite Jay receiving some advantages, they aren't overpowered neither does Jay relies on them for everything, completely different from... Well... 98% of the MCs of fan-fics xD. The author also got to include well written side-characters and antagonists that makes the story richer and more fun to read. So, you won't need to worry about losing IQ if you decide to pick this fic. And also, another excellent point of this story. The author clearly knows how pokémon works, both in reality and in the games, the way he manages to blend well those two concepts is already one of the major selling points of this story. And oh of course, we can't forget the fact that the MC's team is unique, properly balanced and stands out from all the pokémon fics I've read by this point. Also + 2, the author is a pretty decent person :) Keep up the good work, author!
The silly author forgot to put the "hidden gem" tag. You are a great author is one of the best pokemon fanfics that I have read, I do not care if you do not update daily, but please do not abandon it. Thanks for the effort and love that you put into the fanfic. If you want to read something incredible, don't waste your time and start reading this book.
One of the better fanfics out there and I encourage you to give it a try. pros: -A pokemon fanfic from the perspective of joining team rocket (though as a spy for oak and story is still in the trials phase) -Character designs are well done, though it can also be because of few interactions with others given the current progress (chapter 13) in teh current situation (trials). -frequent updates (for now. this can change when more chapters are written as we often see from fanfics on this site) given how new this fanfic is, theres not much else that can be said. if there is anything bad so far is that errors and typos can be found here and there. However, you can still understand what the author is trying to portray. hopefully this improves with time as the author gets more experience.
Review after 18 chapters Kinda too early to give a review, but excellent story so far. Has a lot of potential to be an epic fanfic. I just hope the author keeps on releasing chapters regularly and doesn't drop midway. I'll drop another review (if story goes on for 100+ chapters) So far the MC is shown to be very realistic, the world of Pokémon is described very realistically. And MC is smart (not super smart) and has a lot of common sense too. Chp 18 released the first bad guy, but even he acted very smart (very cruel, but smart nonetheless). So lots of hopes from this fanfic.
Although there are a lot of mistakes in spelling this story has a lot of potential. Also I like how the MC doesn't get an overpowered system that lets him bulldoze and get op pokemon that aren't even in that region like a riolu in route 1.

I don’t know about what others aay but this is one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read. Among POKEMON fanfics this is the Best uptodate!!! Character is not OP Has a very good head on his shoulders and a reasonable,caring one. Story develops in a very satisfying way World description is great

Dunno just checks my major mark(Talent System) and minor mark(Team Rocket). Also others like it. So its getting 5 stars for now. Once I am up to date I might change it. I hope I won't.
This is really interesting and i really enjoy the premise. The characters are interesting and i like how we aren’t being bombarded with Canon and Main Characters all over.
So how do I start this? I will first say that I like the story and think that it is one of the best Pokemon fanfic on this site. But even though I think so, I have a few problems with the story that bother me. Although this is only my personal opinion and probably for the person who reads this thinks maybe different about these "problems". I don't want to write too much so I'll tell you my biggest problems here. "Although the story is still very good" 1: I personally don't like it when the plot is so noticeable and clichéd. I have read a many, many fanfinc and novel so that I can say that I can see many of the same patterns. It feels like the novel can't surprise me, which bothers me personally. 2: I find it strange that the team won't have any pokemon from the first 2 pokemon parts. If you want unique Pokemon you can find them in every gen. I also find this way of thinking is a bit weird. why don't you take the Pokemon you like the most and which fit well into the story? It would be cooler if you had 1 Pokemon or 2 of each gen. 3: My biggest point is that I can't help but compare it to "THE RISE OF DARK POKEMONS". Although the story is not the same, they have enough similarities that I subconsciously compare them. Especially because they both start with a trial island (I think this idea comes from The Charm of Soul Pets). And because I always compare it, I like Dark Pokemon or The Charm of Soul Pets better in almost all things. hopefully i will change my opinion in the next ark. But even with my personal problems, I think the story is very good. It's just not completely my tea.
I like how you made him a psychic. The selection of Pokemon is something I haven't seen before so that's cool.

I will rate myself a five star. No reasons, simply because it's my book. I hope you guys enjoy it. I will use different Pokemon that are rarely used on fanfics and won't restrict it to Kanto or Jhoto regions.
