Synopsis

The First Paragon who had risen to the very limits of cultivation found herself facing the final heavenly tribulation before ascendency.

In a vulnerable state, she was confronted by the only other pseudo-ascendant who could challenge her, the Demon Beast Emperor.

Unable to bear the strain of the heavenly tribulation and the frontal attack from the Demon Beast Emperor she lost her life.

The cultivation of billions of years which had brought her to the very limits of power wasted in mere moments of weakness.

As she entered the Samsara cycle she recounted her memories. The struggles she faced when she was born into slavery. The struggle to earn her freedom. Her late start in cultivation. Her entrance into an immortal sect. The false friends who betrayed her. The death of her master. The memories flashed by at a blistering speed until she found herself once again viewing her death.

Sadness struck her as she fully realized her error. She had done it all for nothing.

Her soul began to blur and fade as the samsara cycle started to make her anew.

Unwilling to admit defeat she fought against one of the very principles of the universe, rebirth.

Her near almighty soul that she had slowly cultivated over eons fought with unending might.

The samsara cycle unable to cycle the unyielding soul cast it out and sent it to the void outside the universe.

The First Paragon found herself flung far past the bounds which she recognized as the known universe.

Through an undeterminable amount of time, she eventually reached an entirely separate universe. Although fundamentally similar, also vastly different.

Her hostless soul unwilling to fade eventually found a world teeming with life.

In dire need of a host, she found the nearest being and forcefully occupied the lifeform.

Once her soul settled into the new being she heard a distinct *Ding* in the back of her mind.

*System Activated*

Starting her journey in a new world.

Writing Quality The overall style is nice and the writing in general is... acceptable. However, the author doesn't seem to notice when she repeats a word too much. Synonyms hun. Replace the subject/object for a pronoun or something else because it really tires the reader when you have the same word repeated 3 to 5 times in the same paragraph. Also, there's a huge lack of description but I'll talk about it down below. Stability of Updates I gave you 5 stars only because it seems like the author has been constantly updating chapters so far, but the latest one is chapter 18. So... in the long run, I don't know if that will change. Story Development The story so far is pretty nice, not 100% original, but very engaging nonetheless. However, the author does little to explain any of the things that the main character is doing. This story is tagged as 'fantasy' but its full of chinese novel concepts that interact with the 'system' that the MC's new world has. What is a dantian? What is an outer-cultivation? Inner-cultivation? I understand that the MC knows what thing is which and how it works, but a new reader will be left with a thousand questions if he or she hasnt read a chinese novel before. The author is breezing through the main story without fleshing out characters, world background, or even the system itself. Also, the plot is full of holes and things that don't make sense. What happened to the parents once the MC got to school? They never said goodbye? She just went to the crystal, stepped to the side and then off to school to never see them again? How come there was no maid or butler that stood out within the household? Usually, Parents are of a noble bloodline rarely have time for their children so they have someone else to take care of them. How come all the 6 year olds know how to write their personal information? How come they know what bloody 'defense against the dark arts' means? The senior students who handed the MC (The 6 year old MC) wasn't surprised when she didn't ask any questions on what the hell those numbers next to the names of her classes meant? The senior didn't give any pointers, just like that. To the 6 year old. How come when the kids had the Magical Theory class the teacher dismissed them after like, what? 20 minutes? He was late (which doesn't happen in prestigious academies) broke his knee, got replaced for a little while and when he came back, he just let them go? If Nora was out early, how come Percy was out there waiting for her? He was dismissed early too? How come they had the next class right away? Character Design The characters so far are completely 1 Dimensional and utterly unrealistic in any sense. You have a bunch of 6 years olds acting as high schoolers, while, at the same time, you have a bunch of adults that act like 6 year olds the second they are relaxed. The mom throwing away the dad, the teacher yelling for *******, the great wizard dancing, etc. On the other hand, Percy is seen as the "kind" kid, but, what makes him kind? While the other girls (6 year olds btw) are the most popular girls like if that really happened when you are such a kid. Its true some believe are better than others, but they are kids. KIDS. Besides, what 6 year old has History lessons where they actually learn deep history? What 6 year old knows what bloody "divination" means? Shall I remind the author that Harry Potter was 11 when he got first into Hogwarts? I still don't know how the main character looks, or any of them btw. The only description I have seen so far is that Percy had 'worn clothes' and that the other girl had 'white hair'. How very descriptive (Sarcasm intended) Does the main character have brown hair? blue eyes? Is she tall? thin? delicate looking? How about Percy? What about the teachers or the parents? We are talking about super important characters early in the story that have only 1 personality trait and a name. Percy is kind. Emilee or whatever is a brat. The Director is a pedo. The MC is Op. That's all there is because you can't even imagine them physically as there was no physical description. Even worse is the lack of personality. For an antagonistic, Emilee and the director are doing an awful job as there are no personality shades, they are just 'bad' and period. Percy is extremely bland and the teachers are not different either. I have so many things to say and I could rant about this for hours tbh but I'll try to refrain. World Background For someone who happens to be so curious about the new world she is living now, I'm surprised about the lack of research that has been done. The reader doesn't care if you have lots and lots of dialogue, what we need is to have, at least, a general description on where the MC is standing. There was some info about empires and the continent, but... where is she living? a manor? a castle? a big house? Are there beasts, demons, and angels out there? How does the town look or city? Any bloody description could work here but all the reader gets is that 'she has a room' and that 'there are similar houses outside'. Are u kidding me? Bye.

It’s a novel with potential and one to keep an eye on. Very minor hiccups so far that I’ll just chalk up to personal taste and preferences. Over all this is definitely above average and I can foresee a solid future for this one. I will recommend this one 👍👍👍

This novel is good written one. The background world is slowly explained so rushing reader should be patient and well behaved so not to pointless utter insults. Good work for author, and keep it up.

If you like strong female MC you're in the right place. ------ On the first chapter we get to know MC past and story. After that we are transported into new world and start to learn with MC about it. The writing is also excellent and world background intresting. (Fun fact: we know about it much as the MC, so we learn together with MC) Overall I would rate it 5.

A very well written and refreshing story I strongly recommand reading. The main character is quite interesting and the world building is well done. We discover the world together with the MC little by little as the story progress, which makes the informations easy to digest, however sometimes events are not well explained (not that it bothers me but readers new to fantasy/eastern fantasy genres may have troubles understanding everything...). I have been searching for a novel like this one for a long time and am glad to finally be able to read one ! Many thanks to the author-san for this wonderful story and I wish you all the best (mainly for the stable updates both in terms of quality and rate). Definitely a hidden gem btw... I kind of fear the day it will become too popular and go premium... Well it's good for the author-san but... I'm conflicted... Well good luck anyway !

As a primarily english speaker it is quite difficult to find well written, and properly gramatized stories. This is absolutely perfect, I am in love with this book. It is a wonderfully told and delightfully crafted book, I would highly recommend anyone whom is a fan of fantasy novels read this.

It's about time I write the standard shameless author review. For those who are wondering about release schedule, I am currently releasing a minimum of one chapter a day with bonus chapters whenever I can. I can ensure that I will complete this novel even if it kills me. Worst case scenario I will simply make up for the chapter or chapters missed on the following day. As anyone who's read the novel can tell you, I try to respond to every comment and I appreciate the feedback, good or bad. I'm still relatively new to writing so any advice or constructive criticism is highly appreciated. I hope you all enjoy my novel and have a good time :)

This is a great novel. I will definitely keep an eye on it. I love the characters, world, plot, etc. so far. Reminds me of Dao of Magic but this one feels better done to me. More fun and down to earth I guess? If I were to nitpick the only two things I am not so keen on are the occaisonal spelling/grammar misake that makes it hard to understand what is going on and the overly blatant references to other works. In both cases they aren't bad enough to be anything more than midly troublesome.

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries The Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the Master of Mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die. Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse. To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.

I love the stories where the protagonist has a good head on her shoulders but makes mistakes like every human being, in general, is a good story, and I hope that many more people begin to recognize

A great story about a powerful woman that gets a second chance. With the world building and character development I've seen so far I'm really looking forward to the future plots. A great foundation surly will lead to an awesome tale.

Top marks for concept and implementation. A Master of Eastern Cultivation and Ki dropped into a Western Fantasy setting and having to learn to convert or adapt her techniques while learning new ones that never existed in her old world. Great! Absolutely great idea, and the world being developed is fantastic as well. Unfortunately, it's not all roses. While I love the world being developed, it feels like the author is mostly making up the story as they go along. The characters also feel a bit clunky and forced sometimes. My favorite part is the sheer imaginative rollercoaster of possibilities inherent in mixing Eastern and Western magic systems in such a fun way.
