Synopsis
Isekai Smartphone is about a boy named YuukiTenshin and was celebrating his 8th birthday but it was interrupted by a mage that came out of a portal which killed both of his parents to hunt him down.
When he was depressed, he found the gift of his father which was a smartphone from another world and swore to find out who that mage is.

This is a review from a reader's perspective. I've watched and read quite a few isekai/system story. I've enjoyed them a lot. Hence, my expectation is unreasonably high. That being said, I didn't mean this novel is bad. To be honest, it has potential. However, what I felt and noticed reading this novel is that the author had these overflowing ideas which were challenging to put into words. The reason why I felt confused, and some parts put me off. For example, MC's routine and the scenes took part after his parents died. Fret not, I know by continuous writing, it would get better! I'm not a pro writer, but I know skills could be enhanced if you continue writing novels. Good luck on the author and this novel!

Honestly, this is a great work for a writer being a newbie. The synopsis is extremely interesting, which itself attracts the readers. The descriptions, plots, and characters are nice. First chapter (the way tragedy was described) made me hooked to the novel. Pace in which the story developed makes it want to read more.
