I enjoyed Ryu's slippets of his backstory. Overall, its a pleasant read. I enjoyed the pacing and the different events that happens. If you have time, check it out.

It's an interesting start that follows the past adventures of Ryu Narsius attending the Nekomata High School. From the first chapter, you can tell that there's more going on with the main character due to his predicament. He is being tortured starting out and then the story jumps back to when the torturers are inquiring about. I've read up to the second chapter- It's not my cup of tea, but should develop into a good story to read.
