Synopsis

Six years ago, the world began to change. Massive tsunamis wiped entire cities off the face of this planet, volcanic eruptions made it rain magma from the sky, and tornadoes tore down any civilization that still remained.

Six years later, this apocalypse would come to be known as 'The Crimson Calamity'.

A much darker side of humanity began to show. Governments split cities in half with their own visions of rebuilding what was lost.

The next few days was full of bloodshed and carnage. Anyone who was able to fight for the future they wanted put down their morals, and began doing so.

After the tragedy, the few lucky survivors of this calamity had to make a decision. Would they just give up, or would they fight?

And if they chose to fight...would it be for their own survival, or for world domination?

The Crimson Calamity marked the beginning of a new era. Factions were born, and the old laws that held humanity in place were no longer existent. This was a time of blood, battle, and tragedy, where only the strong would be able to survive.

The last survivors are ready. Are you?

TL;DR - This novel is a great read for anyone who likes reading about apocalypse and how the survivors fight for their own visions. In a world where right and wrong doesn't exist anymore, only strength is true justice. That is a concept I am quite intrigued by, and this novel did a great job bringing that out. Now then, a little more detailed. Writing Quality - grammatical and spelling mistakes are minimal. There are quite a few formatting/punctuation errors during dialogue, but that can all be overlooked and resolved with a little bit of proofreading. In fact, many readers may not notice these tiny mistakes at all. Stability of Updates - not many chapters so far, so this is pretty hard to say at this point in time. But currently from what I can see it's been 1 chapter/day, pretty consistent. Character Design - each character has their own personality and specialties. The uniqueness and diversity between characters is something I, along with other readers, can appreciate. World Background - the author did a great job setting the stage for this novel, while keeping an aura of suspense regarding the Crimson Calamity. I am excited to learn more about who - or what - caused this disaster. Overall, I recommend this book to any readers out there. Whether you like apocalypse or not, this book is a fine twist on the classics. You won't regret reading this.
