The Flame of Beginnings

A third of the world's population has been blessed with powerful abilities. These people are known as paladins. Paladins fight monsters that appear in temporal rifts to keep the general population safe. Paladins are taught how to control their abilities from an early age in prestigious institutes. Benjamin attends one of these prestigious institutes with his friends Corey, Isaiah, Xavier, and Sean. He is currently one of the weakest students in his grade lagging behind the spot in front of him by a significant margin. While lamenting his weakness, he discovered a secret ability that allowed him to grow in strengh faster than anyone could have imagined. With his newfound ability Benjamin began to climb the ranks of Paladins on a journey fraught with friends, enemies, hardships, betrayals, and knowledge that would shake the foundation of his very existence
