The Ode Untold

A bright and kind soul is smalltown girl Miranda. Though she loves her mother down to her every fibre she can't help but wish to get away from her over controlling clutches. So, she grabs the first opportunity she gets and opts for a college as faraway as possible from her hometown. Luck shines on her when she reunites with her two best friends there. But perhaps the Gods had something else in mind for her so they flank her in an unknown world with horrors which remain hidden from the average human eye. She longs to be among those average and shield herself from the newfound horrors of the world she is made a part of. But how can she be left with the average human when she isn't even one of them. Her people, well at least some of her people, still await her.

"The sight I saw left me speechless."

"I closed my eyes waiting for his lips to meet mine but instead felt a sharp pain shoot through my neck to my whole body."

"Yet it was shrouded in darkness such that I could not make any of its facial features except for it's red ember - like eyes."
