One of the younger witches who was being prepared next to me noticed my pointed ears and said, "You aren't a full witch are you?" I just grinned, revealing my sharp wolf teeth. The young witch backed away from me in pure fear so I just looked back over at Mother who looked back at me with a beautiful smile.
"Who wants to know?" I say, looking back at the girl with my neon yellow eyes.
The young witch says, "The daughter of Althea, my name is Alita Asteria Althea."
I grin and nod my head once in acknowledgment, "My name is Rudina Rieka Bellatrix." I answer.
Alita gasps, "Your of THE Bellatrix witch family?" she says and I nod. "That's cool but you aren't a purebred witch so who's your father?" Alita asks. I don't answer but I can smell my father in the woods nearby. Tonight is a full moon, mother knows what will happen when the full moon rises. I look up at the moon and grin, bathing in the moonlight. My eyes turn into the eyes of a wolf but a brighter neon yellow. I look over at Alita and she gasps, "Your eyes! They're like a wolf's!" she says in awe.
I smile, "Yes, they are, that's what happens when I look up at the moon." I say.
Alita looks at me a moment longer before saying anything, "Your the daughter of a wolf. Which makes you the very first wolfwitch ever in Faelandia! That's so cool!"
Suddenly the moon hits its peak and I begin shifting into my wolf form. I slowly grow fur and my bones rearrange and change into the bones of a wolf, I sprout a tail and my ears change into the ears of a wolf. As soon as my transformation is complete, I howl at the moon. Just then all the other witches start the ritual, my mother sets a bowl in front of me which I know isn't part of the ritual but is ritual for Mother and me on a full moon. I drink the potion that's in the bowl and shift back to human, the only difference this time is that I have my wolf ears, my tail, and my wolf eyes. The witches circle us and start chanting in a tongue so old that it has been forgotten by all except the witches. As the witches chant, I feel a strange new power awaken in me as the powers of a Bellatrix witch are given to me through my mother's blood. As soon as the ritual is over, Father and his pack walk over to stand behind me. I turn around and hug Father. "Father!" I say, smiling as Father nudges my face in greeting.
"Hello my beautiful baby girl," Father growls in Wolf Tongue. Mother walks over and places a hand on my shoulder.
Alita, too, walks over and she says, "He's a beautiful wolf and an Alpha. It's very rare for witches to see an Alpha wolf in these parts, so I'm assuming him and his pack is here to see you Rudina."
I look over my shoulder and at Alita. "Yes, they all came to see me, I could smell them nearby the entire time," I say with a grin before standing up. All the young witches and their mothers stare at me in awe, they watch as my father and his pack howl along with me in the howl of joy. The witches eventually disperse and go their separate ways, Father and his pack then leave after a short goodbye howl. Alita and her mother stayed with me and Mother, in fact, they're Mother's neighbors. The four of us head back to our cabins and go to sleep.

It was the night of a full moon. Screaming of women and children could be heard in every hut of the Mendicant Island. Men in dismay shouting run, run, run. Everyone was terrified. People bumping into each other, running for their lives. 

While everyone was running for their lives, there was a hut with a group of women wearing long silk cloaks and black pointy hats. The women were considered as witches. They were casting a spell, murmuring in an ancient language. This was a curse to bound all the men, from special blood line, to the full moon. Allowing the witches to control them and take over the world with their supernatural powers.

A year ago, the village, was a piece of heaven. Children playing about, young girls chatting, men and women working peacefully. There was a girl named Gracelynn Blair Santiago. She was the daughter of village king Wilson Santiago. She had a brother named Aaron Jace Santiago. They were from a roman blood line, reckoning themselves to a special kind of lycanthropes they called hybrids. The family was of the original witches and wizards. They knew if they were bound to full moon, theyll be the hybrids having powers of a witch and a werewolf. Nobody but themselves knew that they were hybrids.

In a meantime, a coven of witches from Amini Island came to the village, asking the kings permission to cast the spell to bound the werewolves with full moon. The king denied; saying that it will destroy the whole village. 

The queen Alexandria Santiago was the first witch created by nature. The only method to cast the spell was written in Alexandrias grimoire. And a vast amount of power and sacrifice was required to cast the spell.

The witches were very diabolical and even though king denied permission, they did otherwise. There were 8 witches in the Amini coven. They all started thinking of miraculous ways of making the spell. 

All the witches gave their ideas and tried to create a spell by themselves. They tried to cast a spell which was created by one of their witches. Everything was ready but the spell did not proceed. The tried harder and harder. Yet all it was, was failure after failure. The witches asked to be permitted but the queen denied, nor she spoke of which her grimoire.

The spell wasnt that easy the way witches thought it was. The witches of Amini coven were unknown to the amount of sacrificial power needed. The spell required the sacrifice of 10 men and a heart of a roman bloodline. 

The queen of Mendicant island knew this all and didnt want to reveal this secret upon the witches, as she was worried about her daughter, who was a clone of her great great great grandmother. She knew that the werewolves feed on the ancestral clones, after being turned.

The moon shines very strongly, without any warmth for its children, rather, the moon shines not for its children, it shines from thirst for revenge, hunger for hatred, the moon shines as a sign of war and death.

After having dinner, the warrior goes to their room to get some sleep, while the white witches remain in the living room to complete the remaining chores. After finishing all the chores, they walk inside the backyard with other integrands and a big black pot.

“They didn’t like to be kicked out and hence declare a war against spiritual moon coven, Spiritual moon coven witches take help of moon goddess and curse them to fall asleep for eternity, we aren't able to find where they are now, but we can find that the war happens in the samba forest," Icy another dark witches said to her leader. 

"Then we will go to the samba forest to find anything that can help us to find anything that can help us to find them, we will go there tomorrow, first thing in the morning, " the leader of the dark witches said and dismissed them and then goes to her room to do some preparations.

Rafa seeing the situation on ground suddenly remembered that warriors were still on their way and would fall victim to this same shit the minute they are exposed to the moon's ray.
"Lucien what do we do about those still on the way", Rafa questioned despairingly. "They will be defenseless once exposed". "I have no idea what to do about them but we must do something about those weakened here already", Lucien replied hastily.
"Has any lycan been affected as badly as the others", Lucien asked one of the guards standing by the castle pillars. "No your majesty", he replied shakily. "The few lycans that were exposed seem to be able to withstand the pull of the red moon". 
"That's good then", Lucien said as he ordered the guards around the area to get the lycans within the vicinity to begin moving the weakened werewolves into the infirmary or anywhere away from the rays of the moon.

"Rafa I have no answer to that but the elders may be able to provide an answer to that at the next sitting", Lucien replied. "Before then, we need to locate the Sybil. She's the only one I'm sure can give us somewhat of an answer and a solution at the moment, and we need both direly".
"How do we do that?" Rafa asked instantly. "You know she only reveals herself when she has a message for us. If she hasn't, it means she has nothing to say". "I didn't say we had to see her", Lucien replied categorically. "I said we had to locate her. That can be done by the help of magic".
Rafa knowing what his king was not saying rejected the idea on the spot. "No, you are not leaving your people when we need you the most to go to the witches for help again. I understand that Kaliam is strong but so are we and we can most definitely locate the Sybil without their help".

"That won't happen", Lucien assured. "I can promise you that". Without wasting further time, Lucien dashed out of the castle shifting instantly as he took off for Kaliam.
Lucien knew deep down in his heart that Rafa was again right but he also knew Rafa had only heard the tales of the red moon, he had never seen one before and he didn't know that the moon could last for days. If a solution wasn't secured quickly enough even the lycans would fall prey to the draining of the moon and before long their whole race would be wiped out.
A Sybil was always untraceable, but with the help of the seal of the goddess and a little help from any witch of the coven guarding it, he could locate her and find a solution to their problem. It came at a cost, he knew that too but it would not stop him from safeguarding his people's lives.

Serena could sense the dark witches on the move. She knew what they were here for. It was one of the things her late mother warned her about. "The dark witches of Yanni only seek one thing and that is more power", her mother used to say.
"The only thing that can top the level of that which they currently possess is the seal currently in our possession. No matter what happens and how dire the situation, that seal must never fall into their hands, if not it spells the beginning of Armageddon."
That warning had stayed with her over the years and now it seemed her mother's words were right. The witches truly came for the seal. 
She was certain the seal would not be safe in the archives and she would need to use it. That was why she had asked Malia to get it for her. No matter what, she'd die before she ever let any dark witch get her hands on that seal.
Serena was a little worried about the vamps though since she couldn't sense any of them coming with the witches. It could only mean they had anticipated their escape and would mostly try to hinder that.
She could only hope her sisters would be able to handle the vamps or it could be their race getting wiped out by the end of the night.
Less than twenty minutes later, Serena felt the impact of the witches trying to break through the wards surrounding their lands. As a witch she had strong powers but no matter how strong, there were also limitations. 
Serena's limitations ensured that her powers could only work within a specific distance and because of that she could do nothing as the witches forced their way through the wards of defense surrounding their land. The castle would be next.
She could feel them drawing closer by the minute and knew their time would soon be up. Malia dashed out soon enough and handed her the seal still in its box. She accepted it gratefully.
"Begin evacuating everyone", Serna instructed immediately. "What will happen to you then?" Malia questioned worriedly. Serena understood her worries and with a small smile replied, "I will handle the dark witches of Yanni".
"Then I'm staying with you", Malia said forcefully. "You can't take them on alone. That would be suicide". "You can't stay behind Mali", Serena reasoned. "You have to go with the others to protect them from the vampires I'm guessing will be waiting to ambush them".
"Don't forget the strength of Kaliam still flows in the veins of every witch in this coven", Malia stated vehemently. "They can take care of those bloodsuckers". "I know they can", Serena replied, "but I'm not certain they'll be facing off with ordinary vampires, not when they've joined hands with dark witches".
Malia still refused to budge and Serena could feel the witches gaining ground. They were almost out of time. So she tried one last time, "you're the oldest one amongst the others and a leader. If they should encounter hiccups along the way, you're the only one I'm certain would be able to handle things".
Malia begrudgingly agreed and with a final hug said bye to Serena as she returned to the castle to begin evacuation at once. Serena opened the box housing the seal the minute Malia went in. 
With shaky hands she pulled out the seal, a copper circle with Latin inscriptions on it, ignis lupus and an image of a grown wolf surrounded by fire. She held the circle in her hands and traced it gently. The wolf in the circle was always asleep with its eyes closed and only one born from its race could wake it up.
Though witches and lycans had built an alliance over the years, a relationship between both was always frowned upon. Serena had been the result of such a forbidden love, unacceptable to both races. She had become an anomaly and in the end had to live with her wolf side a well-kept secret.
Before she could begin the spell that unlocked the seal, the dark witches of Yanni broke through to the castle grounds. Now there was only one line of defense till her and somehow she knew in her heart it wouldn't hold no matter what she did to strengthen it. Instead she chose to do her best to give the others time to leave.
Quickly she said the spells required to activate the seal and then brought forth fire from her palm. She placed the seal on her lit palm and watched the copper change to a bright orange. The seal was ready.
She prayed one final prayer as she summoned her wolf forth.
