Doesn’t have to be, Yin and yang is fundamentally apart of chinese culture, so it being refrenced all the time isnt a suprise. It’s a CN and they have their tropes, as does americans and everyone else.

I feel the same way, I enjoyed the authors other works as a past time but never expected a lot since it was meant to be a 1 dimensional OP MC and that's it. This one is just lazy and riding the coattails of there previous success, it is a rather big disappointment for I had thought that with such a strong start, the author would come out of it better than ever, ready to write more stories with a bit more depth and yet here we are, another rinse and repeat, copy and paste. Disappointing is about all I could say about this novel. Maybe they are hungry to keep the previous momentum of other writings idk, what I do know is my journey with said author will be ending here although brief my time was well spent, happy reading all.

I honestly felt the same way when reading the first and second chapters, incredibly and unnecessarily long winded. The sentences do make sense if you forgo some errors that are prevalent but the problem is they don’t flow well, I really liked the concept and wanted to give this novel a chance but I cannot bare to sit through more of these if every chapter is built on 1 sentence being reworded 10 times. Might have to revisit at a later date and see if the author decided to clean up the early chapters.

So many grammatical errors and weird sentence structuring in the first few paragraphs is a really bad first impression to be giving a would be reader. I've had to waste so much time reading too many disappointing novels that never have nearly enough proof reading before publishing their chapters. I'd usually give you more of a chance but looking at the amount of chapters released and the fact that so many mistakes remain, yet its gone premium? No thank you, cannot believe people can charge others for illiterate garbage, it is so infuriating and honestly I am so sick of seeing it.
